Hence no reason to upgrade to the new buggy mess🙂 And here you can see... People still prefer older Win 10. See bolded text. Windows 11 lost momentum in November Microsoft's Windows 11 campaigns have led to increased market share - for Windows 10. The fact remains, however, that Windows 10, despite its impending retirement, is still the market-dominant operating system and may remain so for longer than Microsoft had hoped. Much of the reporting surrounding Windows 11 has revolved around bugs , incompatibility with certain hardware and higher system requirements, which of course does not help to attract new users. LOL. Why bother if you use Win 10 ? Microsoft details how to install Windows 11 on unsupported PC not meeting requirements As mentioned above, the company absolutely wants people on Windows 11 as even the latest Statcounter data suggests it isn't going as great as Microsoft would have hoped. Thus Microsoft even allows users on unsupported PCs to upgrade to Windows 11 but makes such users sign a waiver first.

TechPowerUp Releases NVCleanstall v1.17.0 Techpowerup.com - Yesterday TechPowerUp today released the latest version of NVCleanstall, our nifty little utility that lets you download and install NVIDIA GeForce drivers with a much higher level of customization than NVIDIA's installer permits. This utility lets you disable (or enable) several components in the GeForce driver package that you can't find in the NVIDIA installer's "Custom install" page, including important settings such as telemetry. Version 1.17.0 introduces several improvements and fixed. To begin with, driver signature rebuild not working on Windows 11 24H2 has been fixed. The startup page now has a "what's new" link that takes you to the driver change-log from the Release Notes. We fixed an issue where the "automatically click driver unsigned warning" option was not working under certain conditions. The messaging in the "Finished" page of NVCleanstall has been fixed. The driver dropdown now indicates "Windows 10/11" instead of simply "Windows 10." We improved the "build package" screen with a tip that the "-y" argument allows unattended installation. The overall interface has been improved to help with systems that have very low screen resolution. The "experimental" label has been removed from the GitHub-based NVENC Video Encoding Session Limit Patch in the options list. A rare error encountered when unpacking installers has been fixed. Sad. They make headroom for future Super and TI Super cards upgrades. Disgusting. You'll get yesterday's performance uplift as the next new and shiny a year after. The performance uptick with later Super cards could have been delivered from day one. Not as an stupid refresh re-hash a year later. Same as Microsoft... They neeed to deliver something "new" every damn year. Let the people get the performance expected from the arch upgrade now. Not after a year. Maybe Nvidia make the RTX 5070 cheaper to try compete with AMD's re-hash and Intel's coming Battlemage graphics cards. None can compete with Nvidia on performance so rather swap over to try compete on prices with lower speced hardware. Edit. From the TT article.... The current GeForce RTX 4070 is a powerful and capable gaming card, and the RTX 5070 might be one of the only models that will get some direct competition from AMD and Intel. Then you have next gen software for fake frames. Cheaper than make better and more expensive hardware. And here we go again. Anyone remember how Nvidia made it possible for miners to eak out more from the LHR GPUs(re-enable the mining potential of GeForce RTX 30-series LHR graphics cards)? We may see Nvidia will do similar trickery for cards as 5090D for AI servers in China and some other banned countries. How stupid is U.S government if they let Nvidia come away with this? China accounts for 1/3 of the GPU market and can also help Nvidia and their partners to get higher ASP for 5090(D) series cards. GeForce RTX 5090D may retain full hardware specs of RTX 5090, unlike its predecessor It's about time for US government to take of the silk gloves and make ready the ban hammer. A real harsh fine if nvidia try circumvent the restrictions. A fine Jensen, shareholders and nvidia will never ever forget. -

Seems Asus made it possible to avoid upgrade to newer ME with their new feature upgrade for the new boards. Just continue as ususal (old habit) and upgrade bios with selecting CAP files. Z890 motherboard BIOS update becomes easier! The focus of ASUS EZ FLASH 4 is actually the ZIP file. Users do not need to manually decompress the file to extract the CAP file so that the BIOS can read it directly, because the latest generation of ASUS EZ FLASH 4 supports reading ZIP files and updating them directly. In fact, ASUS does not recommend users to manually unzip it because the ZIP contains INTEL ME updates. If the user only selects the CAP file to update, INTEL ME cannot be updated at the same time. And more ASUS news..... ASUS updates its boards with the new microcodes: better performance of the Intel Core Ultra 200S and correction of the TRCD in the AMD Ryzen 7000 Of course, you have to go to the forums to see how fed up some users are with the brand, or, we don't know to what extent, with Intel and AMD. And that is the main problem, where is the responsibility of the brand that makes the motherboards and where is it of the CPU, platform and microcode manufacturer? Users see a very slight downgrade with the microcode upgrade on ASUS motherboards for Intel Core Ultra 200S. Regarding Intel... They continue offer pump out new meaningless processor upgrades... Core Ultra 5 225F barely outperforms Core i5-13600 in Geekbench — low-end Ultra 5 chip comes with six P-core and four E-cores Intel could manufacture the Apple A20 SoCs that will power the iPhone 18 in 2026 Yup. Intel prefer continue make phone processors and low end graphics cards.... Sad. Or better say.... -
And the bug list continue grow for the latest and greatest OS. The usual from from Redmond. Microsoft is going from bad to worse with Windows 11 Microsoft's latest Windows 11 update is causing more headaches for users https://static.tweaktown.com/news/1/0/101892_56156165_microsofts-latest-windows-11-update-is-causing-more-headaches-for-users_full.png Asus, Dell confirm new issues in Windows 11 24H2 update, including shutdown bug windowslatest.com - November 26, 20240 Windows 11 24H2 has more issues, including compatibility problems with Dell and Asus PCs, which might also affect users with other hardware Microsoft halts Windows 11 24H2 updates on PCs running certain Ubisoft games, and those that are patched lose performance Microsoft is going from bad to worse with Windows 11 at a time when time is running out for the robust and fast Windows 10. Windows 11 24H2 is now incompatible with USB scanning devices, too Windows 11 24H2 increasingly shows how the Windows Insider program does nothing to improve Windows security and reliability. The number of show-stopper bugs experienced by customers who updated to the latest OS version is staggering. Meanwhile, Microsoft is just saying that they're working on (yet another) fix with no specific release date in sight.

Be aware of the fancy EX naming. Avoid this so called "new" thermal paste from Thermalright. Overpriced and a worse product. Thermalright TF8 EX thermal paste in test – Same price, smaller quantity, poor performance and low durability than the TF8 They have simply added an “EX” appendix to the product name (which could even imply progress) and are selling this much worse paste at a significantly higher price. Whereas 2 grams were available at the time for 4.99 euros (priced at a stable level for a long time), you can now get 1.5 grams for 6.99 euros and the much worse product is also available. I hope that Thermalright, as a pure distributor, will not change its business model for other products in this way and now buy cheaper and then sell them at an even higher price.

Price jumps in the toll ring in Oslo - again Shall bring in 93 billion from the automobile owners. The price jump follows the Oslo Package 3 agreement that was adopted by the Oslo City Council and Akershus County Council before the summer. It was decided what the 93 billion kroner in toll money from motorists will be used for over the next twenty years. 96 percent goes to public transport, cycling and walking. Yes, motorists will pay for public transport, cycling and walking. Almost none of the road toll money will go to better roads. Yup, this bothers me. We will still have to drive on small narrow and winding roads.

Google may soon be forced to sell off Chrome if a judge is convinced tweaktown.com The possibility of Google having to sever one of the arms of its core business comes from people familiar with the matter who recently spoke to Bloomberg, which reports top antitrust officials are planning on asking the court on Wednesday for Google to be forced to sell off Chrome, to bring fairness back to the browser market that has been heavily leaning in Google's favor for quite some time. The changes to Google were proposed by the Department of Justice in a court filing last month and list other measures that would be a blow to Google's business, such as the requirement for data licensing, transparency for advertisers to see where the ads they are paying for appear, and guardrails for consumers to protect them against Google hoarding user data. Couldn't be happier if this happened. Let'm bleed money.

Very nice... A new bug has been found in Windows 11 24H2 and is so serious that Microsoft has published a special support document about the problem. Isn't that special? Nope. But you never know with Microsoft. LTSC builds is mostly used by corps. Not so sure Microsoft want to trigger their harm/anger 🙂 Btw. I can clearly see Core Ultra/Arrow Lake pay off. The best selling Intel chips is 3 years old. What happens when Intel render Raptor Lake EOL ? Do as Nvidia and rehash old silicon as new SKUs to keep them barely floating? Otr can an possible Bartlett" LGA1700 Processor for 2025 save them from total failure/disaster? You can't survive as company if you haven't products people want. And the server market starting fail as well. What then? AMD dominates chip sales on Amazon — top ten best selling CPUs all come from Team Red And you won't sell more of the flopped chips when you let stupids set the prices on new stupid overpriced products. Yup, the new Core Ultra mobile chips matching the computer Jokebook (ASUS dual-screen laptop with Core Ultra 9 285H CPU listed for over $3,700). -

This full warranty is called “Top Ten Repair Services” by MSI in China, and this movement will begin in the Asian country and, apparently, will extend to the rest of the world after evaluating its operation and customer satisfaction. MSI creates “full warranty” for its motherboards: free repair for bent pins, wear and tear and various damages with home pick-up and delivery In the world of cars, there are brands that wash their hands of the matter in a bad way, and others that respond to practically everything. Toyota, Mazda or Honda are examples of the fact that the customer is always right and must be satisfied, so... -

Regarding rushing for firmware updates... Intel launched a cpu that didn't even meet their own expectations for gaming. So new bios version is needed (probably several updates is needed). This means everyone with the new Cinebench chips or new platform from Intel need new firmware updates. And right before this, then remove features for enthusiasts is damn disgusting. Intel isn't what Intel have been. They don't even bother with gamers. Btw. Intel can't afford offer gamers X3D chips... All is about the damn baby cores and loads of different tiles (incl dummy tiles). Intel doesn't plan to bring 3D V-Cache-like tech to consumer CPUs for now Maislinger stated, "But for us, this (gaming) is not an extremely large mass market. You still have to see that we sell a lot of CPUs that are not necessarily used for gaming. We still have it (3D Stacked Cache) technologically. This means that next year there will be a CPU (Clearwater Forest) for the first time that has a cache tile, but not on desktop." Afterward, Florian Maislinger asserted that Intel's gaming market is relatively small, and designing an X3D competitor would be pointless if it could not be reused for servers. Again, re-read what I have said before.... "You still have to see that we sell a lot of CPUs that are not necessarily used for gaming". This disaster cleary means Intel will put more of the eggs (silicon and resources) into locked down 35/65W consumer chips. + of course the more expensive server chips. Enthusiasts/Gamer products ain't their target anymore. -

The hard work pay off. Intel can now legitimately claim to have the fastest Windows iGPU. That's something, huh bro @Mr. Fox ? Can't have it all. Who said Intel offer bad gaming performance vs AMDs processors? You need to win where it counts😁 Intel takes down AMD in our integrated graphics battle royale — iGPUs are still nowhere near dedicated GPU levels but use much less power -

Here as well. You can clearly see it as in a sunny day, in same way as for the dreaded dark here in the rainy and cold North. Yup, Intel don't bother with performance enhusiasts anymore. Intel have changed course - philosophy. Why not just forget high performance products and put all the eggs into locked down low power 35/65W Core Ultra processors for Jokebooks and desktops? Nice with new needed bios updates for Arrow Lake. Intel improve their hardware with removing features they don't want you to use. Disgusting? The DLVR bypass could make sense for certain areas of application, but Intel should leave this decision to the user. Intel disables Power Gate “DLVR bypass” mode on Arrow Lake CPUs, overclockers disappointed From what we can infer, this leaves early Arrow Lake adopters at the mercy of their motherboards since not every board has an extreme overclocking profile tomshardware.com Highest possible performance is on the decline. Power efficiency is the new golden pig. You can see that with Microsoft glasses as well. Of course Intel have now adjusted their course. They want their piece of the cake. -
What's bothering me right now? People's stupidity and the corps greed. What is worst bro @Mr. Fox? Netflix: 70 million people already pay to watch ads That's right, Netflix celebrated yesterday afternoon that in just 2 years, they already had more than 70 million users who paid to watch advertising. That is, they are paying for the platform's most basic subscription. As their advertising becomes more popular, and more highly paid, it stands to reason that Netflix could even expand the amount of time you spend watching ads . Because people deserve it`?

Me? Nope. Have no desire going with the Red team or the "new modern Cinebench" chips from Intel. I will continue with the bashed Raptor lake Refresh. Nothing new from Intel or AMD tempt me. And I can't see any AMD chips will help me push my new and old graphics cards (in 3D) upwards on the leaderboards. Neither do Arrow Lake. Rather the opposite. Why make it harder for myself? And on top I save money. So double win with the old for me🙂 The new chips from Intel and AMD give me equal much as with modern Jokebooks. Aka zero. -

But how many will jump on the new chips from Intel? Because they appreciate so much all those fast power efficient e-cores that will save Intel? Intel orders more 3nm chips from TSMC for Arrow Lake because they now found out that they can program the Thread Director 3.0 so it can prioritize E-Core instead of P-Core. The baby cores will save Intel once again. Will Pat relax more now that Intel has reportedly found a solution to the gaming performance issue? You think he will dream sweetly about baby cores? Of course Intel need more 3nm chips from TSMC. Remember... Budget Arrow Lake processors en route to CES 2025. Preliminary specifications for Intel's 65W and 35W Core Ultra 200 Arrow Lake S CPUs leaked And here is an new feature bro @Mr. Fox have waited for😆 It match well with what Intel try do do with Arrow Lake. Better "Power efficiency" has to be todays word. Better performance will come second or last. Windows 11 might soon be able to tell how much energy your PC consumes Future Windows 11 updates might bring a new section for tracking your computer's energy consumption. -

It seems the Team at UserBenchmark once again try help Pat an Intel with the sales😆 UserBenchmark suggests you buy the i5-13600K over the Ryzen 7 9800X3D — says AMD drives sales with 'aggressive marketing' rather than 'real-world performance'
