AMD also introduced crashes, and performance issues in other popular multiplayer titles with their newest driver. Great that you now have more options. Imyself sit on the fence reduce my 1GIG fiber line down to 500. Will see how much I can save going this route. See link below 🙂 As long the people get the cards replaced I don't think we will see people suing Cablemod. Maybe if they are angry enough because they need to wait several weeks for the repaired cards. Time will tell. I expect nvidia will be sued first😁 Btw. Do you enjoy Geforce now? AMD quickly withdrew its latest Radeon driver this afternoon because using it with Valve's Counter Strike 2 could result in a ban by the Valve Anti-Cheat tool (h/t @9550pro). AMD promises to fix the issue, whereas Valve plans to identify affected users and reverse their ban once everything returns to normal. Meanwhile, the latest AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.10.1 driver also supports three major titles: Assassin's Creed Mirage, The Lords of the Fallen, and Forza Motorsport. Therefore, the retraction affects gamers who want to play these titles with the latest drivers. -

LOOOL Asus has become Dell light/sibling. They offer Microsoft old bios updates for Win patch servers that shouldn't be installed if you have upgraded to newer processors. See it this way.... You uppgraded from 12900K to 13900K on your Z690 Apex board and Windows update want that you upgrade to an older bios version that don't support 13th gen processors. Perverse. All newer bios versions released last months is for the coming Raptor Refresh (14th gen) and a very few security patches. There is no need for them if you don't intended to upgrade your Cpu. Only upgrade if you need the compatibility with new hardware. And if you have to upgrade sBios then the newer MEI firmware is also needed. If you don't do it the correct way with some MB brands then you are doomed to run into problems. Use MoKiChU drivers for Asus boards. Many pure INF drivers. Here's the link... https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/hardware-build-advice/index-all-my-drivers-firmware-software-threads/td-p/827232 I never use any of the drivers from Asus support website. As long there is a chance to get clean drivers with less bloat, I will rather use that. They all cater to the gamer kids now. And they buy with their eyes. The more bling... The better. -

Aqua computers offer good parts so I think what you'll archive will be good enough. If you see well above 400 l/hour with two D5 pumps then you know something isn't correct with the measurement. Then it show too high l/h flow. What I have seen with higher flow rate (add more pumps).... Doesn't really matter if the heat from the IHS/die doesn't move fast enough over to the coldplate. Dual pumps doesn't help much more than a single pump if the heat can't go fast enough out from the die over to the heatsink. Etc an delidded Cpu with direct die cooling will help much more than add a second or 3rd pump. The weak point is always the heat transfer out from the die and over to the coldplate, then to the water loop. -

I paid 36$ in the used market for the Aqua Computer Next. From a parted pc. I have two D5 pumps. But expect less increase in the flow rate for each new added pump above 2 or 3. I mean after the 4th pump you don't see a huge increase in flow rate anymore. See also my older post... -

370-395 l/h. Remember the flow rate depends on the water temp. The colder.... The lower flow rate 🙂 Edit. -

For a first discovery of the brand, we couldn't imagine better. With the most affordable price currently for 6400 MT/s CL32, it would be a real shame to miss out on it knowing that it is equipped with the best memory chips currently available, the Hynix A-die. Or $88 with an 29% discount if this is the correct mem sticks. Can't beat such deals. Yup. AMD have nothing that can compete with 4090. Hence we never see 4090 below MSRP. And they are still popular cards because of the disgusting prices for the 4080s and still no 4080Ti. -

Yees 🙂 I'm not sure about 4070. But a better priced 4070Ti could offer some good value at 650-700$. The GeForce RTX 4070Ti started life as the canceled RTX 4080 12GB which was supposed to sell for $899. So 150$ off would be easier to swallow. The much weaker 4070 shouldn't be a cent above $550. -

Everyone know 4060 offer bad value. And Nvidia want to rub it in. You "stupids" who bought this overpriced 128bit scam (in short 4050 card) isn't worthy getting the free bundle with Alan Wake 2. You went too cheapo for Nvidia CEO Jensen's taste(You are not an Graphics entusiast), hence Nvidia want to screw you a second time, LOOL Alan Wake 2 free with (some) GeForce RTX 40 GPUs... Because "some" of you are worth it.... Graphics enthusiasts can qualify for this promotion by acquiring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, 4070 Ti, 4080, and 4090 graphics cards or desktop PCs. Additionally, laptops featuring a GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, RTX 4080 Laptop GPU, or RTX 4070 Laptop GPU are eligible. The RTX 4060 desktop and 4060/4050 Laptop GPUs are excluded from this promotion, which is scheduled to run until November 17th, concluding on that date. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intel’s new driver boost Starfield performance by up to 149%, adds Arc A580 support https://videocardz.com/newz/intels-new-driver-boost-starfield-performance-by-up-to-149-adds-arc-a580-support STARFIELD 1.7.36 UPDATE - FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS GENERAL https://www.techpowerup.com/314558/starfield-gets-new-update-1-7-36-improving-intel-arc-gpu-support-and-adding-fov-slider PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY [PC ONLY] Improved stability for Intel Arc GPUs. #4080 officially down to $999 is still bad value#. 42% above 3080 is awful. 4090 is 7% above 3090 and this should be the same for all Nvidias graphics SKUs. So no thanks. Still 35% too expensive. BIGGEST GPU DISCOUNT EVER! RTX 4080 HUGE SALE "They are all about the PSUs, KB/M and coolers (in that order) now it seems".Evga have cheaped out and moved to 3 years warranty for their mid tier PSUs. That's worse than many other of the cheaper brands who offer 5 years warranty on PSUs that cost less than the one you get from Evga. EVGA is Dead. And maybe 3 years warranty match when they are out of business? Thanks for posting the video. And very nice to see our old good friends @d2ultima and @DrAMK replied on your video. Isn't it nice bro @Mr. Fox If you jumped on the 4080 you'll be screwed two times. First time you pay 72% more over 3080. Then you'll loose several hundreds of $$$ when you sell it within it's useful lfespan (2 years). So double screwed, LOOL Yup, the 4080 is the worst card you could jump on. And with the 4080Ti arond the corner it will be even an worse deal. Good job Nvidia. @electrosoft I can't grasp why nvidia would release 4080Ti after new year. No one will buy any of the4080 if this rumors are correct. The sales will go further down the drain. Why not release the 4080Ti at end of November to take more of the AMD 7900XTX sales in the Christmas/New year hollidays season? And a 900$ 4080 would also be much easier to up-sell in the Holidays. Is it because the AIC partners have their shelves full of un-sold 4080s at +1200$ ? Hmm Only 5x PCIe 8-pin power connectors. 3 for the MB then you have two for the GPU. Then nothing. There is a few Radeon 7900XTX that have 3x8-pins. Then you are forced to use the unwanted pigtail setup with the drawback as dropping voltage on one of the rails. And god forbid you if you want 8 pins connectors to power other peripherals. Nice with new modern tech. https://www.ocinside.de/test/seasonic_vertex_gx_850_d/3/ -

Thanks for the testing bro Fox 🙂 So in short.... Equal disgusting as this mess below. Waste of money when there is much better options out there. I watched the news and heard the warnings but thought I was ok. I've had it 5 months with no issues. Until yesterday. My take on this. 4080 is overpriced. And we may see Intel try compete with 4070Ti/4080 performance at lower prices next year. There is no competition in 4090 class cards so why bother with a Ti. The heated up competition will be mid/higher tier up to 4080 perfomance. Then.... Nvidia need card to fill the gap between $900 and 4090. There you'll find the new 4080(S)Ti. -

Windows 12 discussion thread... Post all your findings about coming Win 12 in this thread. Thanks Rumor that Windows 12 will charge a subscription fee is shot down in flames Tweaktown.com | Software & Apps | Oct 7, 2023 If you've been following news around Microsoft this week, you may well have seen an alarming suggestion that the next version of Windows will be subscription-based - the good news is that this isn't true. It's doubtful Microsoft could get away with demanding a monthly fee for Windows (Image Credit: Microsoft) Let's rewind a bit to where this rumor came from. It originated from German tech site Deskmodder, which discovered some entries in a configuration file in a Windows 11 preview build (from the Canary channel). Those entries mentioned things like subscription status and subscription type, leading to some speculation that this might be the groundwork for some kind of subscription model coming to Windows. Windows 12 as a subscription-based product seems very unlikely to happen, though. As we noted, it's more likely to become an ad-supported product...
