  1. Btw. nvidia should have alloved higher board power many years ago.
  2. They Alphabet Asshats say comments/replies is very valuable function in YouTube. But the coders or their automated removal is awful. Remember Alphabet Asshats ain't a small company with lack of good workers. Yet they can't make it correct. They are equal awful as Microsoft. This is an huge Joke! https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/13209064?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&oco=0 Comments are an "important part" of building a community on YouTube. But your comments may not show or might get removed.
  3. Very sad if someone spread wrong info. Why would you post Gpu chips power draw info when you try measure the total board power? If they say 4090 never will reach 500W in bench/games, then they don't understand how it works. In Nvidia's specs they talk about board power (incl the fans and bling bling lights). Not the Gpu die power. Nvidia have also a Power primer... https://www.nvidia.com/content/dam/en-zz/Solutions/GeForce/technologies/frameview/Power_Primer.pdf I hate YouTube as concept. It's just disgusting.
  4. I have replied a few post on his channel. But it seems he don't want proper info. He rather prefer post wrong info and delete posts from people that's not agree with him. Is that cool bro @Mr. Fox? Could also be YouTube... People complain about normal comments being auto deleted after a short time. And that you can't post links in the comment section is awful. The tech trend continue rolling. Disgusting.
  5. Microsoft have always let you tweak how you want your Windows OS. Not so much anymore. They speed up so you can't change how your OS should looks like. Soon there is no difference between Apple OS and Windows. The future looks grim bro @Mr. Fox. Expect they will make changes in the core OS or kernel so you can't do much than accept how Microsoft want how their OS should looks like. Disgusting? Microsoft is the new Apple!
  6. Lovely view of the country area. Thanks. Here's my preferred USB thumbs. Now in 512GB capacity. I have several of them and they never fail on me. Big enough so I don't need to use glasses and they come in real metal body. 7. A real QC problem or is it intended so Microsoft had a new chance to steal some more info from you and blame it on a bug? Pick your poison. Microsoft blames a bug for accidentally installing Copilot on Windows 11 devices Another day, another faulty Windows update...... Disgusting?
  8. Very nice view. But do you have proper hiking shoes?😁 I'm in route. 2nd now for the season 2024 (enthusiast league).
  9. HaHa. At least they are all black😀 Huuh. 50s is the new 40s. You have nothing to worry about. The world goin forwards🙂 Hmmmm. How many will jump on this deal right now? Micro Center makes RTX 4090 owner a low-ball $700 offer on trade-in
  10. New/newer is always better bro @ryan Right? Why can't I see it in the same way as many others? Maybe I'm blind or too smart? AORUS Z790 beta firmware with Intel APO causes BIOS freezing https://videocardz.com/newz/aorus-z790-beta-firmware-with-intel-apo-causes-bios-freezing Users who upgraded their Z790 motherboards with the newest BIOS thinking they would get two important features are not happy anymore. The latest beta BIOS was supposed to support the Core i9-14900KS processor and enable Intel APO support. The new firmware contains a bug that may cause the BIOS to freeze. The UI may freeze after a period of time or when changing tabs. This renders the BIOS unusable for many users, and it seems to affect not just one motherboard but all boards that were recently updated. See also.... Aorus/Gigabyte treat their desktop in same way as with Jokebooks with BGA hardware. Asus is a awful company but the competitors ain't much better. This is just equal disgusting as this company. Media reports have also highlighted another issue: the lack of support for the 14900KS CPU on older Z690 motherboards. Gigabyte has not released a BIOS update for the older chipset that would support this CPU. In this case, affected users should be relieved that they didn’t update the BIOS right away, but only because Gigabyte hasn’t released any updates. 3rd disgusting for the day... Anyone remembered Cablemod reps on reddit replied in every thread with melted adapters and graphics cards before the recall? Not so much anymore... You are soon on your own. "Screwed" has to be today's word. For the pict jockey @electrosoft😀 I walk several trips every day with my dog to keep my health in check so it doesn't get worse. This is the payback... I needed new good shoes. And exactly the same model as before. Viking made for Norwegians. Only $210 USD. These new one will serve me well the next two years. Why change when you know the old trusty model works? I use the same philosophy (“If it ain't broke, don't fix it”) for shoes as for firmware/bios and OS bro @Mr. Fox These hiking shoes is damn good for my feets. Newer models doesnt always mean better. And this is true in much of life @Rage Set🙂 Great that some companies keep their models unchanged over the years. Classic or good products do not need to be changed. The same as a wheel... You don't have to reinvent the wheel. Yup, the old ones is well used until they collapsed.... @electrosoft Viking don't offer 100% all black for this model. But can't be much closer to the real deal😁 https://hwbot.org/submission/5536935_papusan_geekbench3___multi_core_core_i9_14900ks_(8p)_75016_points?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5536914_papusan_7_zip_core_i9_14900ks_(8p)_140620_mips
  11. You are doing it wrong bro Fox. Send your pc over to the stupid below and he will help you for free🤣 But please ask him to oc the E-cores. In short... He tried go for 6.0GHz but failed. And this with E-cores at stock clocks, JEDEC, custom cooling (DD) and 94C with his dialed/tuned in Cpu. Then see his video bashing Jufes below. Youtube channel name is John D. Does it stands for John Dumb?😕 LOOOOL. Jufes at FrameChasers like to bash the other tech Tubers. Here's one that go to opposite way and bash Rufes himself, HaHa But stupidity is the new normal. He here didn't understand the meaning with the video from Rufes. Testing the Cpu with stock config. No one talked about tuning in the Cpu to be able to use the AIO coolers. Hmmm....... What a bashing contest YouTube has become. Not sure who's worse than the other on YouTube. Better say they all are equal good or 0-0 😂

  13. New month, new patch and new problems. Can't beat Microsoft's track records. They are on schedule, LOOL Windows 11 KB5036893 issues: install fails, white screen, and more for some users windowslatest.com - April 14, 20240 Windows 11 KB5036893 could fail to install for some people with 0x800705b9, 0x800f0823 and cause other problems, according to reports received by Windows Latest.
  14. Nice. More hybrid tech trash that will halfway fail and on top will offer higher latency. Remember the feature APO Intel introduced for 14th gen for a very few games? Intel and Microsoft in coparation can't even make the scheduler work correct in the OS. Hmm, this doesn't look very promising🤮🤮🤮 But probably good enough for Jokeboks to reduce the power consumption and boost burst performance on a couple of cores for brief moments. And we all know Microsoft play with the power scheme for hybrid processors in their latest and flawed Windows. To match own low power Junk. In short... Not sure 15th gen hybrid mess will be much better than the trashbin Intel offered for the end of socket 1700. The 14th gen KS should've never have been launched. Bin it 1.5v for the two cores to be able to spike to 6.2GHz for burst loads is just embarrassing. Here's delidded KS junk from Intel running 100C stock with 360mm AIO's. The 14h KS should never have seen the light. Just a money grab over the vanilla K.
  15. Stupidity and greed goes hand in hand☹️ Here's why Apple thinks 8GB of RAM is enough in its latest Macs https://www.tweaktown.com/news/97558/heres-why-apple-thinks-8gb-of-ram-is-enough-in-its-latest-macs/index.html Apple has now suggested that there is a very good reason these Macs come with just 8GB of RAM - that's all that people really need. Mac marketing executive Evan Buyze argued that the entry-level 8GB of RAM in iMacs and MacBook Airs is plenty for most tasks and most users.
  16. Intel may bet on removing HT from their next gen processors aka going from 32 down to 24 threads for their flagship mainstream hybrid processors. Aka maxing out at 8P and 16E-cores. Amd on the other hand seems to increase core counts from 16 to 32 cores. Hmm, I hope Intel really know what they're doing. It will be a ugly mess if Intel going backwards into the future. It will be all too late fix this if they doing the same as they did with 12th up to 13th gen going (from 24 up to 32 threads with more E-cores) the year after. But heey, Intel will offer e LP-cores (or more precisely, the low-power island in the SoC tile). Do you like stupidity @Mr. Fox? A huge flood of new low powered baby cores that will come in two variants isn't exactly tempting🤮🤢🤮 Intel still need the damn E-cores because they want being the clock speed king for the measly 8 P-cores in games/web surfing. Adding more p-cores will only shoot the power consumption through the roof. Hence Intel still need loads of low power baby cores to boost the multi threaded performance to try compete. The most noteworthy addition from Zen 5 leaks is that AMD purportedly doubled the CCD core count from 16 to 32. If this is true, it will represent the first core-count improvement since Zen 2 and means we could see 32-core Zen 5 CPUs on the AM5 platform. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/vendor-readies-amd-motherboards-for-zen-5-cpus Intel Core Ultra “Arrow Lake” desktop CPUs with 20 and 24 cores spotted with no hyperthreading https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-core-ultra-arrow-lake-desktop-cpus-with-20-and-24-cores-spotted-with-no-hyperthreading MSI confirms new AGESA supports next-gen AMD Ryzen 9000 CPUs https://videocardz.com/newz/msi-confirms-new-agesa-supports-next-gen-amd-ryzen-9000-cpus
  17. You may have to pay for the offered extended periode (at least for corparate). But who knows if you can get free patches elsewhere. Some will be able to offer it for free. Remember almost 68% of the pc users run older Windows 10. And Microsoft won't be able to push all those over on Windows 11 within the EOL date for Win 10.
  18. None. He hoped for Zen 5 support. And the new chips ain't out. All he get is security fix to protect the BIOS from LogoFAIL. Isn't it nice? No one of the MB manufacturers bother with release notes. Too much work. Same way as Asus do it. The only one that get real release notes is the fab clockers good compadres (best friends) so they can avoid ruin their fully working systems. Just make same bios version but tweak it (make changes) for their likings. The vanilla users need to accept broken systems. AMD motherboard partners start rolling out BIOS updates As you can see... Intel did the same with Intel ME Version 16.1.30.2307. In short.... People thought this ME version "was needed" for the latest refreshed processors. No processor need security fixes to be able to work as intended. And now Asus force on you ME firmware that's not needed if you want to try their new beta/official bios versions. Isn't that nice?🤮🤮🤮
  19. Only the elite/fab clockers will get those. Hand picked by Intel then further binned in the OEM factories. You may find one if you buy 1000 pieces from an certain good batch🙂
  20. nvidia point to Intel😄 Hmmm. Why haven't wee see much of it the first 12-15 months after launch of 13900K in the fall 2022? Only changes is new bioses, drivers and Windows updates. NVIDIA Points Intel Raptor Lake CPU Users to Get Help from Intel Amid System Instability Issues Today, 12:07 According to recently published help guide, spotted by the X/Twitter user @harukaze5719, NVIDIA has addressed reported stability problems users are experiencing with Intel's latest 13th and 14th generation Raptor Lake Core processors, especially the high-performance overclockable K-series models. In a recent statement, NVIDIA recommended that owners of the affected Intel CPUs consult directly with Intel if they encounter issues such as system instability, video memory errors, game crashes, or failures to launch certain applications. The problems seem particularly prevalent when running demanding workloads like gaming on Unreal Engine 5 titles or during shader compilation tasks that heavily utilize the processor and graphics capabilities. Intel has established a dedicated website to provide support for these CPU instability cases. However, the chipmaker still needs to issue a broad public statement and provide a definitive resolution. The instability is often attributed to the very high frequencies and performance the K-series Raptor Lake chips are designed to achieve, which are among the fastest processors in Intel's lineup. While some community suggestions like undervolting or downclocking the CPUs may help mitigate issues in the short term, it remains unclear if permanent fixes will require BIOS updates from motherboard manufacturers or game patches. As the two tech giants work to pinpoint the root causes, owners of the affected Intel Raptor Lake processors are advised to reach out to Intel's support channels for troubleshooting and potential workarounds for now.
  21. Hmm. Intel gained from it. Higher scores for the reviews (who know what Intel's engineers have said to the MB OEMs). https://wccftech.com/intels-lga-1851-socket-pictured-debut-meteor-lake-ps-arrow-lake-core-ultra-200-ready/ Not much have changed with LGA 1851 vs 1700. The Cablemod saga continue. Loads of burned angled adapters/4090's.
  22. So it begins: Microsoft starts showing full-screen ads about the end of Windows 10 support Microsoft reportedly started displaying full-screen Windows 11 ads with a notification about the upcoming end of Windows 10. And of course, even users with unsupported hardware are getting the banner. 23. Shouldn't all modern Intel processors throttle down clockspeed and voltage instead for instant crashing when reaching 100C? Hmmm. Same processors in jokebooks can do it and can run 100C without crashes... Why not with desktops? Hmmm, I expect mostly all the problems people have seen with unstable/crashing 13th and 14th gen processors is because they don't have good enough cooling. This is still a problem Intel and the MB manufactures need to fix. And Intel's trash binning doesn't exactly help either. Intel Core i9-14900KS Review pcmag.com Thermally, the Core i9-14900KS was problematic when used with our 240mm water cooler, hitting 100 degrees C quickly and soon crashing, likely due to excessive heat. Used with a 360mm water cooler, the processor still hit 100 degrees C, which is why I didn't add a separate listing for it in the chart. The key difference is that the extra cooling performance helped the processor to overheat less frequently, which would enable it to run at turbo clocks more often and more stably. This is why it managed to run the Cinebench test without crashing and showed a slight performance increase with a 360mm cooler. Intel To Discontinue Boxed 13th Gen Core CPUs for Enthusiasts Interestingly, the retirement of the enthusiast-class 13th Generation Core chips is coming before Intel discontinues their even older 12th Generation Core 'Alder Lake' processors. 12th Gen chips are still available to this day in both boxed and tray versions, and the Alder Lake silicon itself is still widely in use in multiple product families. Yup, all this just show where we go......... The tech trend continue. Downwards.
