It seems only an RMA and money can can fix it (if they have spare parts and you didn't open up the block). Sad EVGA don't make spare parts for such an expensive block.... Look on post before this one. In short... You are screwed if you can't fix it yourself. -

I'll order an heat/cooling pump tomorrow. Companies have been home to offer what they have. It will be this one below.... Mitsubishi Uwano 7000 - $3,256.69 United States Dollar incluuded mounting and taxes. So I'll get AC next summer🙂 With minus 15C here home it will give 5.3 times the energy ithe pump will use. After a few years the eletrical price will pay of the pump. After 5-8 years I'll get profits back from it. The pump living life is around 13-15 years. https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/5e97294d62145a85f630e9b8/6234f60b6516f5584ae29c43_Varmepumper-2022.pdf This is also tech😀 -

I have always some spare K5 lying in the shelves. And I don't want spend much money on the older cards applying thermal pads 🙂 Its an fast do it and the fits with K5 over pads is perfect every time. I would only use the more expensive pads on newer card. Not woth it for the old one. And I don't always have the correct pad size lying in the shelves, so... Has to be K5 🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5357420_papusan_3dmark___fire_strike_extreme_geforce_gtx_1070_10173_marks Yup I have the 4090 HOF. I have also the 970 and 980Ti HOF. It seems easier for me get thos cards than any Kingpin or Classified cards here home. I have the love for the Kingpin (have the 980),MSI Lightning and the Hof. All is good cards. And I like how they looks and the better build quality. I really like the boost button on the HOF card. One click and max power and max fans for some fun. I have the XOC 1Kw vbios and the matching Galax XOC app. Tested it but in the summer I didn't gain much. Above 1.150v and the power reach well above 800w and you don't gain much due the air cooling. I will test more in the winter. I also look after a waterblock from bykski. They are cheaper than the one from Bitspower. But with all taxes I see +200$. Then it continue with an extra rad and connections. So I won't see a price tag below $350-400 for everything needed for the Gpu. The Raptor refresh is soon here. Same with the refreshed Z790 (Apex) boards. Those two components will come first. My 13900K and my Apex board go for free to my oldest son because he took care of our dog while we was in Canary. And I haven't an unlimited budget. <Hence I also buy a lot older hw for my hobby. Edit. I have to pay 215$ here home. And for most of the PCIE 4.0 2TB NVMe ssd's. Not sure what you meant. But when I talked about the chat with Cablemod thats another thing. I have CM reps in my message box because he wanted talk with me when the smoking adapters become a thing. He wanted show me the new adapters before all others. I tried write to the CM reps to see if they could change the mods mind. He responded with Hello. Haven't seen more in the chat. HERE'S MORE DUMB. It seems Cablemod reps don't want respond in the chat. And it was he that wanted talk with me a few weeks ago. I think he wanted to talk with me in private due my critical questions/replies. All should know that I say what's has to be said. Nothing more or less. I don't expect they want me back in the Cablemod reddit forum. I'm too honest for that 🙂 The power mod with LM don't do much. I got one or two bin more for this trash Asus card. 12th place in 3DM Fire Strike with the LM powermod. But you can't fix Asus flaws with Micron and bad bin. It's what it is. But I know I have the chance to be within 10th for 3Dmark Fire strike with GTX 1070. Yup. I expect they don't like that people are honest. But why should I lie? I'm an honest man. Have lerned that from when I was a small kid +50 years ago. I always follow that rule. And if there is something I don't like I tell it. But in a nice way. I never offend or write offensive in my posts. I always tell how it is but in e nice calm way. Some people are very weak if they don't want to touch the horns of the bull when the bull is calmed down. What are they afraid of? That I coming through the web and spit on them? Or that I a second time or later will tell the truth once again? Yup, thats it. They are afraid for the real truth. And that hurts them... Or better say offend them. I have had contact with CM reps before in the reddit chat (I was the first one to know and see the changes with the new adapters long time before people know the changes). Will see if he respond on my request about removing the ban🙂 We'll see. Edit. We can continue talk about stupids.... Why let three vram ic's have thermal pads and heatsink and then let the 5 others without nothing? Is Asus the new Dell? Is this vram heatsink designed by Dell's engineers? This is the 1070 HOF vram heatsink with thermal pads for all 8 vram IC's. And Galax even gave the 1070 2x8-pins. Asus could only afford 1x8-pin for their 1070 OC flagship and half-baked vram heatsink. Whats wrong with Asus bro @Mr. Fox? Greed or stupidity? Could it be both bro @electrosoft?😵 -

Both you and bro @electrosofthave been mods on forums. How long time do they need to respond on message you have sent? FYI... I can still see my comment but if I share the link the comment is gone. Edit. Seems my post is still there and can be shared if I take with the whole posts/post string. Why permanently ban me but let my so called #offensive# post/reply still be in the thread? They usually delete posts they don't like. Weird. My message... It say I have broke rule's. Not one but they say community rules. This means more than one rule is broken. Again... My post should never be the reason for permanently ban. Damn Stupids/morons!! Vbios testing with firmware from "Worlds fastest" graphics card... The matrix Asus 4090 OC Strix flashed to Asus 4090 Matrix | TechPowerUp Forums Seems Asus walk their own ways.... Or forced by nvidia. And the bin is from the revised silicon from Nvidia. Anyway we all like to experiment, though i have found out one thing, this matrix bios seems to have a hard gpucore voltage lock even with powerlimit up to 120% and voltage slider maxed the card would only do 1075mv max where as the original strix bios i could push that to 1100mv anyhoooo apart from that there is not much of a reason to run this bios.... and also the memory clocks the exact same so nothing new there either...... For those that are planning on buying this 4000 dollar card, stick with your 4090 if i was you and just get a waterblock haha saving 2000 dollars right there... -

I expect nr 1. But my post wasn't offensive to anyone. Cablemod reps himself said the adapter wasn't defective. If the adapers isn't defective... Hope that helps. If the angled adapters v1 wasn't defective then why recommand that the screwed one not to use them anymore? Look at this. Techspot say no discount for 4090. I'm not so sure this is an good deal. This card cost 1,633.88 USD here home without the dreaded tax. Take account that Norway prices is awful. And the ordinary price in the shop say is $2,153.63 is just dumb. This Inno3D isn't a $2,153.63 card. Not at all. I'm sick of editors that do HW reviews... Do they even know what they talk about? And do they know how LM works? And do they know why many HW manufacturers use nickelplated copper? Surely, this is beyond their tech knowledge. Mor hunged up in bling bling and pretty. Under the Hood For those of you who prefer to skim the images rather than actually read what we’ve written, the primary key points we covered above are here in picture form. Of particular note is how the multi-layer cooling solution has been designed, as well as how much hardware is available on the power side of things. Suffice to say that no corners have been cut, no shortcuts taken, nothing but what you would expect from anything that comes under the famous Republic of Gamers umbrella, and particularly anything that brings back their famous Matrix name to the market. Conclution. Nonetheless we’ll cover as much as we can for everyone. Let’s get the obvious things out of the way. Is the Matrix Platinum the highest performing of the RTX 4090 cards we’ve reviewed? Yes, yes it is. Is it the coolest running RTX 4090? Just about – the ASUS Strix was similarly cool. It’s not quite the fastest average clock speed we’ve seen, a title that belongs to the MSI Suprim X Overclocked, although naturally it’s worth mentioning that the real world performance metric still belongs to the Matrix. However, as there always is with products like this, the Matrix Platinum comes with some caveats. Yes it’s the fastest of the RTX 4090 cards, and thus is the fastest on the planet. It is only a bit better than the next best though. Consistently, but not in the kind of way where you could consider it a theoretical RTX 4090 Ti or RTX 4095. It’s a very good version of something we’ve already seen and seen way cheaper. Similarly the cooling is excellent, but the redesigned pump has a bit of a whine we don’t recall hearing on their Strix LC model. If you went for a full 3rd party cooling solution such as a complete EK kit you could get it for less than the cost of it plus a reference RTX 4090 when compared to the Matrix. Okay there is work, and nerves, involved but it’s not beyond most of us. https://overclock3d.net/reviews/gpu_displays/asus-rog-rtx-4090-matrix-platinum-review/16/ -

You are sure the voltage slider isn't in the sub menus? This works well with older versions on slightly older cards so maybe it doesn't work with the new and shiny cards from AMD? GPU Tweak is the only tool I could change everything as etc extended voltage on some older AMD cards. Both the tool from Msi and Evga failed hard. So you are correct, credit to ASUS for this one. -

Nice some fix their failures 🙂 But if you get the wrong hardware you can't fix it. With some MB you are screwed with only two PCIe 8-pin connectors for the GPU. Once again a useless new PSU if you have the new Radeon cards with more than two power connectors. Soon nobody can buy a new PSU if they went the Red side of tech. The new 12VHPWR connector standard have destoyed the way an PSU should looks like. There is a few MB that need 3 PCIE connectors (Cpu and MB). All you have left is one or two for your GPU. Nice.
