Also Vex see the same as me. Nvidia helping out China with AI servers to avoid the US ban. And they really need all the vram and big boy die's they can get. And Nvidia want all the profit they can get from it. Hence they lock their eyes and let em double up vram for gamer cards as etc 4090(D) and 4080 (Super) - intended with only half ov the vram for GAMERS Screwed. The U:S ban is an Joke and Jensen know it. Nvidia doing Nvidia things and put up the middle up finger to the screwed gamers and the idiots in the U:S Governments. Nice. -
The most fun I have seen today. AMD Zen5 chips (RYZEN 9000 SERIES) is now rebranded to BulldoZen5. Yup, this one really made my day😁 Final conclution from Hardware Unboxed. Yup, this did not come as a big surprise bro @Mr. Fox The flopp is real! Greedy, unethical testing and false claims come at a price.... AND AMD PAY FOR IT RIGHT NOW. See the time stamp 20:38 AMD rather prefer sell high cost overpriced re-branded boards instead of offering cheaper options.... The most fun I have seen today. AMD Zen5 chips is now rebranded to BulldoZen5. Yup, that one made my day😁 Have a nice weekend. Nice to see you back bro @Etern4l. Hope all is well. If you don't mind loosing warranty then use liquid metal on your stock IHS. Better for longeivity on LM. See also bro Fox post. The Rockit IHS (or any good quality custom IHS with slight higher Z-hight) was good for laptops with sloppy heat sink pressure and uneven quality for the ILM in LGA laptops. For desktops... Not so much. -

I'm not so sure bro @Mr. Fox. Because everything they touch will turn into problems. Just lovely. More bugs have popped up with this new Win11 update. This is an reminder of never pach on the patch day and rather wait at least 2-4 weeks before you try download and install so called "fixes patches" from Microsoft. Latest Windows 11 update cripples PCs. Here's what to do if you're affected This cumulative update for Windows 11 can slow down PCs so badly that they become unusable. -

Hmm. Extra 8 pin have been already on a few boards from both AMD and Intel (Z690 Apex had 6-pin and the Z790 Apex got 8-pin). I don't see Nvidia will push this as requirements for new GPUs. Remember all the older boardsout there that will be paired with 5090, and 95% of them all don't have it. And You can't feed more power to the GPU from the PCIe Gen5 slot. More likely they will make ready for next gen less power hungry AI cards not meant for gaming. Pair two of them and you are good to go (not for gaming). Isn't that disgusting? Also with all the modern RGB bling people want nowadays, charging of the kids tech gears and the need for fan headers with higher AMP rating, the boards need more 12v ompha than you'll get out from the old fashion 24-pin MB connector. -

Check out WPD above and see what the software find of Enabled/Disabled services or apps. As well check same settings in O&O shutup. Both programs need same settings applied to offer correct settings. I would ask in Sordum for some help/guidelines. I would also try free AV software to override what Windows try to do so it can take over the control. -

Check out Sordum. Maybe you can still use the Defender Control tool v2.1. Also look in the comments section for that tool. Guides in there. As well try free AV software and then white list needed apps/software. Can't remember what Os and build you use. Also check out... *WPD v1.5 RC1 [WPD is a portable app to manage your Windows 10 privacy and firewall settings, uninstall Windows apps, and decide what apps can access your information]. See what it finds enabled/Disabled. -

What I meant. If wrong settings is applied in regedit then change the value to the correct one. Maybe you have tried it before. And regarding the added microcode in Windows,... Can be deleted in Windows so only the MC in bios will be used. -

I expect loads of people undervolt as mad. On the edge of stability and you'll get weird problems in some tasks/games. And then they will blame Intel or and the MB manufacturers for their self introduced problems. I doub't we will see 300K branding. That will be their next SKU line-up. Maybe an 295K as the KS. Higher clocks but with still same amount cores/threads. -

This sum up today's new modern tech. Create disasters to be able to maximice profits. We need bigger chips and with same sorts of cores. And more cores if needed for more performance. Not this modern hybrid or glued togeter tiles mess. @Prema Here's is the latest Intel ME Firmware Update v16.1.32.2473. Can you see what this brings? Probably new security fixes as usual. Or a re-brand. Thanks -

Intel haven't many other choices. The sales in Korea has sinked as a stone in the ocean and more of this news you see below will increase the damage further. And all the new bugged beta bios from the mb manufacturers don't help on the situation. So even with the MC 0x129 with the new Asus XOC beta bios you got back the SA bug.... Hmmmm. Your reply. I tested the ASUS XOC BIOS that @safedisk posted (v9933) and the SA bug returned to that CPU even with 0x129 MC. What a disgusting soap opera this has become with the different motherboard manufacturers. 1.6V when loading up the OS with the new so called fixed bios (MC 0x129). Could be a detective board but who knows. .
