  1. You stilll need fix that single core mem score🙂 Here's two from AMD. And the G. Skill competition for 2024 haven't really started. https://browser.geekbench.com/v3/cpu/9057788 https://browser.geekbench.com/v3/cpu/9075746 AMD do it good in older Geekbench 3 but wish they could do it better in the other +50 2d and 3D benches on hwbot. But, huhhh. Better be good in one thing than nothing. It's very difficult to be top one in all and everything. Even less so if some of the subtests favor the other brands hardware. But that's life. In the most 🙂
  2. Why kill the drive before you can use it?😀 At least bro Fox knew what he risked.
  3. All 14900KS should be able to run it this way. Not this trash here. And be you sure... Probably many KS chips out there that's worse than this. In short... Sad ending on the 1700 platform. Both the 13th gen K and the KS was a good upgrade. Good to see you bro John. And same for you all 🙂
  4. Have read about those before. I wouldn't trust my important data in that drives if you don't have an ongoing backup schedule running in the background. Samsung’s Magician Software can confirms that it's a counterfeit drive or not. The software always validates whether a drive is fake or not. Edit. Fake Samsung 980 Pro SSDs Are Spreading Around Mar 18, 2023 — The merchant sold fake Samsung 980 Pro 2TB SSDs on Xianyu, Taobao's second-hand market, for 880 yuan or $127.77 --------------------------------------------- I'm still not in so very good shape. Hence I post less. I have barely touched an pc for soon 2 weeks. But managed to order 2x 14900KS. But with my luck and Intel's trash binning for the last unlocked chips for 1700 platform, I doub't I will see good chips. Maybe better than my SP94 14900K but not much more. At least my money from previous 14900KS is on the way back. That's something. 17780 nok is $1660 USD. Hail to the Norwegian TaX system (greed). Or equal disgusting as Intels binning for this gen KS chips.
  5. When you are yonger you think you live forever. Life say no. Live life now. Not as is. Love life now. Now!!! And please do it now. Love your posting
  6. Hi thanks. I like that people/engineers think out of the box. Hate the ONLY ALL SHALL HAVE ---- RGB or Bling in every shape. Same also with Todays JOKEBOOKS. All must be the same. Disgusting!!! Ps. Sent you an PM. Btw. Cpu degradation.... Worth to see. Buth expect stupiditi from this stupid pc editor. Thats normal. Fantastic score. But nope.... This is not the CPU death. And if it was.... AMD don't scale very well with sky high mem clocks. Still damn good score 🙂
  7. Happy Easter holidays my friends. I'm..... Halfway back🙂 And I hope Evga can as well... But this won't save the consumers screwed's data. Backup bacup backup. Can't say it loud enough. EVGA promises to replace burned hard drives The power supply manufacturer crawls to the cross. Recently we wrote about Reddit user Sgircys who received a new power supply under warranty from the manufacturer EVGA , who had failed to inform that the pin layout of the power connectors had changed. The result was that Sgircys, using their existing cables, sent too much voltage to their SATA drives, destroying them. Welcome to Papusan's world. Laptops ended for me in 2016. I never bought anything new after that year. Everything that come after stinked. The 870DM had a good life for me and is still. 6700K-7700K-8700K and finally 9900K in same laptop. Nothing can come close to that in the laptop world🙂 So good bye and..... Btw. Me enjoy the anologe world. A hell lot better than the disgusting new modern bling bling all around, bloat and RGB world.
  8. Tecno artists is for modern people. I'm old. And I'm back. At least halfway🙂
  9. From Tomshardware... Contacting EVGA again, the Reddit poster reported that EVGA did not want to replace his storage devices, saying the following: “I’ve never encountered a warranty that offers to cover loss of data or the costs related to the recovery of data and to the letter of our warranty terms, we technically don’t cover any loss or damages incurred by our products either.” EVGA also encouraged the Reddit poster to make a warranty claim from the drive manufacturer(s) themselves to get his storage drives replaced. Nice. Evga want that the drive manufacturers replace the storage. Hmmm. Nice try. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/power-supplies/evga-power-supply-allegedly-blows-up-22tb-of-customer-storage-revised-model-from-rma-had-a-different-pin-layout-and-killed-all-sata-powered-devices
  10. Yup. Everyone hoped that Apple could make it better than Intel. The security analysts confirmed the exploit, dubbed GoFetch, works on M1 CPUs and speculate that it likely also impacts M2 and M3 chips and their Pro and Max variants. Intel's 13th-generation Raptor Lake processors also exhibit the flaw that enables GoFetch but are probably unaffected. Unpatchable Apple Silicon vulnerability could leak encryption keys In brief: Hardware-based security flaws have become more frequent over the last several years but have mostly affected Intel and AMD processors. Now, Apple joins those ranks with a recently discovered vulnerability that causes Mac M-series CPUs to expose encryption keys. Since it is hardware-based, there is little users can do besides keeping macOS updated.
  11. Yup. Everyone hoped that Apple could make it better than Intel. Do you live in a glasshouse bro @Mr. Fox? Some do. 12. Look at this... Nvidia put up the middle finger for the average gamers buying the cheaper cards. Gen-over-gen performance uplifts are getting smaller with Nvidia's mid-range GPUs Then you see this below. It seems nvidia continue screw gamers on low/mid tier cards. They aren't the consumers nvidia want. Greedy devils. RTX 50: no GDDR7 for all cards? overclocking.com @XpeaGPU indicates that not all cards in the range would benefit from this new memory standard. No, GDDR7 would be limited to the top 3 most powerful cards in the series. In other words, we should have the RTX 5090, the RTX 5080 and a hypothetical RTX 5070 Ti or even RTX 5070 equipped with this VRAM . The rest should run with GDDR6 or even GDDR6X .
  13. I put it here. My post from July last year.... There is more into this with EVGA than just that Nvidia become too greedy for them. The Nvidia move was just an camouflage for their major change in their business.
  14. Here's more disgusting. When newer is newer and not better. Processor The Core i9-14900HX is a rebrand of last year's Core i9-13900HX and so any performance differences between them are minor at best. In fact, the Core i9-13980HX in last year's m18 R1 would consistently outperform our i9-14900HX by a few percentage points in multi-threaded workloads. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Alienware-m18-R2-laptop-review-Jumping-from-Core-i9-13980HX-to-i9-14900HX.812957.0.html Sad to see... But I warned about buy anything from EVGA now long time ago. And I was spot on. The compani won't be better than the employees/bosses they have.
  15. Even if the AIO go up 10-15% it will still be damn cheap 🙂 Worse with etc $1600 GPU that go up 15%. That would be a increase of $240🙂 Nice with a low bottom price. You won't be ruined with a price hike. 10% on top of $60 is only 6 bucks.
  16. This is damn cheap. Not everyday you see such cheap cooling parts. Not much tech you can get for such amount money. Often you only get a slim thin M.2 ssd cooler for this amount money. Thermal Grizzly etc want close to $43 USD for a thin piece of metal. Or 3/4 of the price for a 360mm AIO. Thermalright Frozen Edge 360 AIO Cooler Review: Thermal Domination for $60
  17. Fun part. Reset bios and run mcsp again and you may get different results 🙂 No need for a different bios to get different mcsp results. Tested this yesterday before I removed the defective KS for return to sender. The mcsp went from 80 to 77. Is less more?😀 And the defective KS couldn't run higher than 47 on the E-cores. In short... Intel didn't bother with the E-cores when they binned for the 62x special Edition. They totally forgot that their defective junk have hybrid architecture.
  18. Intel bashed AMD for their use of glued dies. And soon we'll see Intel going even more retarded but with glued dummy dies paired with multiple glued on tiles, LOOL Intel Arrow Lake-H processor with 24 cores has reportedly been photographed https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-arrow-lake-h-processor-with-24-cores-has-reportedly-been-photographed
  19. Disgusting VF curve. My worse SP 100 defective chips have better VF curve for 5100, 5600 and 5900. But your 6200 is massive 5mv better. Great value for 3 points better chips. I expect that's matter most for Intel when they bin for the 6.2GHz Special Edition😕 And here is 6 new samples in a row of defective KS chips from Norway. From SP99 to 102. Nice. https://www.overclock.net/threads/overclocking-raptor-lake-refresh-14900k-14700k-14600k-etc-results-bins-and-discussion.1807439/post-29310183
  20. Yup, it could be worse. Much worse. What with SP94?🤮 The AI binning have gone all too far. This KS launch looks worse and worse for every new day. Sum up... Disgusting
  21. With a K I can easly accept get lower quality chips but not if you pay premium and buy their special binned chips. A huge difference. The variance between the different KS is all too big. In short a scam. Not pleased how Intel have treated their enhusiast performance crowd. If they want to bin chip for a special version.... Just offer three top tiers. OKish, better and best. More the way EVGA binned and sold their 9xx serieis kingpin cards. 3 tiers and 3 different price point. This way people know what to expect. Not this new greedy way maxinmize profits. Low bin +$50 above vanilla K and so on. Middle bin +$100 Top bin +$150 But I expect Intel have so many defective KS chips so this is impossible to offer.
  22. Should be able to return it. But my headroom for returning "working" goods shrinks. Can't do it many times before you get a nope. Also shops here home can ban you returning working goods if this repeats itself several times. With limited store selections here at home, I can't continue to return working items. Because the stores have to sell the goods as a demo at a loss. Isn't it nice living in a small country with limited options for everything? Edit. Approved return. The shipping label is is now received in epost. I may send it back tomorrow. Just sad we can't send it back directly to Intel. Has to be back to the shop. Intel deserve get all the fake KS back. Back to awesome. I really love Corsairs smart engineers. They continue offer 8-pins to 12VHPWR cable adapters for their new PSUs. Smart move. Not everyday you see enginners use their heads. Corsair launches white RMx SHIFT 750W-1200W power supplies with side-mounted connectors The side-panel does not have a native 12VHPWR power connector, but the company is providing a suitable cable fully compatible with this standard.
  23. I fix it for you🙂 75% of all sold KS is defective products. And the rest isn't fantastic. Even with SP110 they are defective Cpu's. In short.... Intel should never ever have released the 14900KS. But greed and stupidity go hands in hands. We have seen this time after time. And Intel have failed massive with this refresh rehash. This match damn vell.
  24. Not as bad as the one above but a very defective product from Intel. If this is the trend looking for a KS I will keep my 14900K. Because this is disgusting. This made me so sick that I almost threw up. And I don't want to keep up working more with this. My time is more valuable than keep up with this. Yup this one is equal awful as the bottom barrell here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZzG0mdIO63i1S-BVmFRWOUAGjP6FGokt8cSorlg5CI0/edit#gid=0 It seems 3 out of 4 KS is defective chips. Isn't that "special"?
  25. Spot on. And not all cancer can be cured. Same as with stupidity. Can't be fixed. Latest Windows 11 Update Breaks AMD iGPU Drivers, Ryzen APU Handhelds & Laptops Affected
