And harmony🙂 No need for Miners to keep up demand/prices. NVIDIA GPU Demand To Exceed Supply As Green Team Bets On ChatGPT, Thousands of AI Chips Expected To be Incorporated By Tech Giants https://wccftech.com/nvidia-gpu-demand-exceed-supply-as-green-team-bets-on-chatgpt-thousands-of-ai-chips-expected-to-be-incorporated-by-tech-giants/ This might be good news for NVIDIA but not so great for consumers, especially gamers. If NVIDIA sees an opportunity in its AI GPUs business, it might prioritize supply towards those instead of gaming GPUs. -
The greed show its ugly face... It wasn't enough that the same SKU for laptops perform worse than the same SKU for desktops. They want that you pay even more for even less. For the future I would say go with the 4090 if you are gamer and you keep your HW until EOL date for drivers (up to 8 years). 16GB vram or below is a no go 6 years down the road. Just look at the 3080@10GB 4K flagship. Can't be used as intended forwards. And I hope they burn in with loads of overpriced MB. And I hope this will affect the sales of Nvidia and AMD's gamer cards. You don’t need the NCC in the screenshot for the validation but it makes it easier to moderate. You can see the amount vram used to confirm if the ECC is Enabled or Disabled. i expect they want do the mod the hard way. They probably trust only the Elite benchers. Just look at my previous post about the bot comedy where the nr1 bencher/hwbot mod cheated himself. Just ask for extra verification for the top 20 on the leaderboard. They had this in the rules before. Cant be difficult add it back. Will be fun to see how this mess will pans out when nvidia screw up and remove ECC adjustment in NCC. ECC for gamer cards is just retarded/dumb. I expect only the xx90/ti will have it and all scores from the lower 4xxx can be considered buggy by mods if they find it so. -
Older Clevo 200W Maxwell 980N laptop GPUs was faster than their Nvidia 980 desktop siblings and got double the vram 8GB vs 4GB for 980 desktop cards.

I didn't need AMD for that. Z170.... 6700K-7700K-8700K (6 cores beating AMDs 8 cores around same gen) and finally 9900K. Went from 4 cores to 8 cores on same old Intel platform. Can't be much better than this on a old platform. Now we are back to Intel's screw up with two upgrade cycles (official) and AMD launcing refreshed Cpu's the year after with almost no performance uplift (Older Ryzen xxxx-X to xxxx-XT with almost no performance gain and from unlocked chips to fully locked down X3D "gaming" processors as the refresh). Sad times forwards. -

The E-cores Baby cores don’t have HT. They are just Joke cores designed for weaker mobile laptop chips! With HT they would eat +30% more power and the OC potential would sink as a stone in the Death sea filled with 100% salt😎 -
Techspot editor was spot on.... @Mr. Fox @Ashtrix We think Nvidia could simply admit that it's not possible to put their flagship desktop GPU into a laptop, and give the laptop GPU a different name. This should be an RTX 4090M – or even better, the RTX 4080M – because then we would be matching the desktop model in GPU die and have the M suffix to make it clear it's clocked lower and power limited relative to the desktop card. You can see the scam in the details... The reason why we believe Nvidia doesn't do that and is giving the desktop and laptop GPUs the same name, is that it allows laptop vendors to overprice their gaming laptops and put them on a similar pricing tier to a much more powerful desktop. They want to be sure the Elite stay on the top😎 The countdown has begun... And the worst of everything. Even a good bench-run without ECC Disabled can be equal valid as a score with ECC enabled (not bugged). And ECC Enabled doesn't always mean your scores is without bugs or should get the Valid stamp.. And here is Nvidia's screw up. I warned about this once Nvidia pushed out this 10GB scam. 2 years old and now a dead card for newer games forwards. This is only the beginning. And yep.... The new 4080 is a 16GB card and will be next on the Deat list. Of course Nvidia don't want give you 20GB vRam. Less sales for next gen = Less profits. Still $260 above the more correct price point. Yep, isn't it nice? Nvidia's gaming flagship (3090 was for creators and 8K, LOOL) obsolete after barely 2 years use. And I don't talk about the more crippled 3080 Mobile. This is the real xx80 desktop card singin its last song. Maybe we can call it the Deathmarch 🙂 Hogwarts Legacy, GPU Benchmark: Obsoleting The RTX 3080 10GB

When you thought enough is enough. Microsoft is ready to jump on the bling bling trend as well. Be you sure... This won't become any different than the buggy proprietary software you already find from most brands of bling bling. What's next? Develope a fancy universial OC tool/app for Cpu or/and GPU's ? This is getting out of hands. Edit. In videocardz.com/comments. Spot on.... Windows could soon control your RGB accessories natively A sneak peek at the latest Windows 11 developer build shows RGB controls for keyboards, mice, and other gadgets... Windows 11 build 25295 is a pretty major jump forward, according to the release notes. We might have to wait until the yearly update sometime in the latter half of 2023 to see most of its changes. And to be honest, it’s a bit of a coin flip as to whether Microsoft will actually keep this feature around — I suspect it will hinge on how many accessory manufacturers it can convince to conform to the standard. But the dream of a universal controller for a half-dozen rainbow accessories remains alive. -

Have never had luck with MSI. And I can go back years in my history and the same apply. The Liquid X wasn't the worst sample for the cores. But 1470 on mem was on the lower side. And yep, we have the silicon lottery. And I'm sure MSI play that lottery very well for the worse for their customers. See it this way.... Shops is flooded with their best binned cards here home... If they MSI can throw out this much samples for sales they either have a flood of good binned chips or they just throw out whatever chips they have. I can't see why ASUS couldn't do the same... Flood the sales page with same amount best binned cards. I expect MSI have changed target... Went with an AIO over better binned chips for their flagship cards. Yep, MSI also offer Suprim with air cooler, that's an option... But burnt children avoid the flame/Burnt Child Dreads the Fire. Then you have their nice workmanship make OC tools for their new and shiny flagship. They didn't do anything correct. This just show whom they cater to. See also this... The 4090 forum is above 500 pages. And probably not difficult to see why I shouldn't jump on a new MSI I normally don't repeat bad decisions so I think I have taken the correct choice. For me 🙂 -

😎😎😎 My logic... I don't like MSI and below 4090 SKUs is in no man's land (disgusting price vs value). I haven't many options left outside continue play with my old parts. Thats the truth. I have tried 4090 Liquid X and returned it. And I won't re-buy that card evn its cheaper. So my options is quite limited. And I normally don't spend much money on graphics cards. Mostly $10-100 USD. So not so sure the reason for the stupid high prices is due me 🙂 -

Try this one below🙂 And Nvidia/Jensen said their 3080@10GB (desktop card) was their new 4K flagship 2 years ago. Damn futureproofing for 4K (RT enabled - 15.0 FPS), LOOL FPS = frames per second😁 Very enjoyable. And only god Nvidia knows how the FPS will fade away in newer games 2 years down the road. Ultimately, 8 GB and maximum textures are not possible.

This is just lovely. None of the last two gen Dark Kingpin motherboards work with the trashboat (Zotac 4090). How is this even possible? 4090 was out in October last year and now we are into 2nd week of Feb 2023. almost 4 months. And Dark Kingpin Z690 have been here over a year. https://community.hwbot.org/topic/223312-z790-dark-kingpin-and-13900ks/ Edit. @Reciever The forum have been lagging the last days. Not as responsive anymore. -
With a abysmally low max power limits for the whole system, one of the two have to suffer. Feed the GPU with the max allowed 175w and the Cpu has to compete with rest of the hardware (included the screen). And with some of the new and shiny gamingbooks.... 2x M.2 slots in 18" chassis doesn't make them any better so quite tragic. Then we have latecy problems.... Not fun cope with your music on the $5000 purchase. Just lovely. And the fun continue.... Voltage control is locked with both XTU and Throttlestop, but there is an undervolting option in the BIOS that allows for up to a -30 mV undervolt. And I expect the undervolt settings in bios will be a gooner before or later in same way as with the well known Plundervolt patch. Yep, we live in different times now.
-
Yep, even with a bigger chassis as the big hype... 17,3 now 18" chassis size they couldn't offer a increase in power. And bigger cooling cost money. This is intended... They want you back in the stores fast as hell when next gen crippled models is out. The more castrated... The easyer is it to push you over on next gen Jokebooks.

Don't say you don't like my "All Black" crocs😁 I wonder if Nvidia will have the stomack to put it at $529. 4080 was 71% above 3080 so everything is possible Even $499 would be a disaster price for 4060 (+51%). Could be they go for $429 Alleged NVIDIA AD106 GeForce RTX 40 GPU Benchmarks Show RTX 3070 Ti Class Performance For sure, the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, and RTX 4070 Ti are cool graphics cards, but the value proposition as well as the way the specifications are trending have left some folks wondering what lower-end Ada Lovelace-based GeForce GPUs will look like. This start to look as a comedy.... @Mr. Fox Right after this and the whole 3D Elephant thread is closed down. Yep. And the new fix coming will also destroy your chances to get better ranking with your older HW. Maybe every single 3D benches on Hwbot and U/L Futuremark should be removed so the competition can be real/fair? This new fix just means that you will get even worse chance to beat others older scores regardless what new or older HW you use. Nice!!! Running UL/Futuremarks software will be more and more a disaster. FromUL/Futuremark. -

Exactly what bro @electrosoft need. New HW to hide any Coil whine coing from his pc's. This just show how crippled Gen 5.0 drives will be if used in new modern Jokebooks. They can't cope with the heat without something has to be sacrificed. No need to be bothered with Coil whine anymore bro Electro.
