This forum will respect the wishes of Prema, do not share Prema's work without permission to do so. Any posts related to distribution of such content will be removed, and infractions issued. Consider this a warning.

Any transactions potential or otherwise must take place through the Marketplace, @ViktorV if you plan to sell components through the forums then you will be treated as a vendor to which you will need to abide by Vendor guidelines. This point isnt meant as a warning, just as notice. This would also be the case for anyone in a similar circumstance. As I am sure many would be quite interested in that heatsink, especially P870DM-G owners.

If there is no P870DM-G thread you are all always welcome to make one 🙂

🤣🤣🤣🤣Cool. But in fact, these bios are no longer shown by Prema, since they have undergone changes. I don’t sell heatsinks for p870, but I just decided to help in obtaining them without having any benefit from this. Well, although perhaps the option for 800 euros is more successful for you)) ))And there was a golden time when Prema bios were free and distributed freely, what has changed since then....?

today i opened notebook again because i was not happy about screw hole allignment, so i dremel hole to make them perfectly centered, cleaned some pads and adjusted thikness of some of them and i reached max temperature of 85° on gpu core and 93° on hotspot.

benchmark got higher score of 16k on 1080p high preset.

Any plans of trying to overclock the card? For me after many failed OC attempts +90 on the core seems stable and +250 on the memory.

Nice to see improvements though!

generally im first one to overclock a vga, but here i have 2 problem; 1st is temperature not so cold and second those vga are really expensive if fail 😄  if vga would cost like 300€ i would overclock to max no problem, but if that broke and i dont get it on sale i could spend like 1600€ to get another one 😞

also i had a 1070 never oc and after 3 or more years it never get bga problem, while ive seen lots of them on sale for spare parts because bga got bad...

i think i have to fix thikness of upper card , where are all those inductor and capacitor and mosfet because there i noticed i have too much height on those pads, but i will figure it out later . now i have used 3mm+2mm height , but that is too much i think.

cant use standard guide because my heatsing is soldered together and some spot is higher then normal.

that viktor heatsink however is looking really good

well generally, as long as u only mess with clocks and not voltage (which aint possible with current gpus anyways, except unverdolting) temps shouldnt change much, thus deterioration rates would not increase at all. best thing to do, of course, is to do both UV and OC at the same time 🙂

This is a mutant processor, a mobile i9-10980hk ES (QTJ1) soldered on a lga1151v2 substrate. An excellent processor, but very picky about memory bars, it does not start with all. Works confidently with SK Hynix 2133Mhz RAM, successfully overclocks to 2666Mhz after launch. Also, to run this processor, you will need a Dsanke 9900KS 128g bios.

Why not QTJ0? From what I heard some users even pushed 3200Mhz on memory with one of those.

QTJ1 is more stable with memory selection than QTJ0. I have both processors. They are essentially the same, they differ only in stock frequencies, but it doesn't matter because you won't use them at stock frequencies anyway.

Nice. Thank you for the info. I was planning to buy one of those but I was afraid that it will not work with 2666Mhz RAM.

Aslo do you think that P870DM VRM will handle this 8 core cpu?

It'll do just fine.Pin mod is not needed on the mutant. It is for information only .From memory, take SK Hynix 2133Mhz, it works well with this processor. Then you can overclock it to 2666Mhz. I managed to overclock it to 2933Mhz, it also took 3000Mhz, but it did not work stably.

Forgive me I didn't see the edit. Prema stopped distributing his bios as a result of people and companies stealing his work and reselling for profit. There were also instances where individuals would make small changes in order to claim as their work that resulted in some fried laptops.

what thickness shoud we use here ? (red circle zone)

i put k9 pro on inductor and was using 3mm+2mm  for mosfet and 3+3mm for capacitor , but i noticed they are too tick. maybe ill go with 3mm+1mm for mosfet and 3mm+1,5mm for capacitors ?

Looked. 0.5mm 40pin EDP connector, standard connector for Clevo p870/775/750 laptops, there is a nuance, the connector on these displays is located on the opposite side of the standard matrices and therefore you will need a long 40pin EDP display cable, for p870 you can use the cable from p775 , it is initially long.
