what thickness shoud we use here ? (red circle zone)

i put k9 pro on inductor and was using 3mm+2mm  for mosfet and 3+3mm for capacitor , but i noticed they are too tick. maybe ill go with 3mm+1mm for mosfet and 3mm+1,5mm for capacitors ?

K5pro and K9pro are not a very good choice, they do not remove heat well. The best liquid thermal pads are laird.

I also installed a B173HAN03.1 FHD 300Hz display. You can also install 2k 165HZ ne173qhn ny2 and 4k 120Hz b173zan03.3.

Hi!

Thanks for all the very cool info you have been spreading around lately.

I have a question for you if you don't mind. Do you think I can install this B173ZAN03.3 4K 120Hz display in my P775TM1-G Clevo?

I had a look, but I think the mounting of the panel is different than the one I currently have in my P775. (It's a 4K 60Hz panel for reference, hopefully you know it)

Thanks!

Yes, you can install this panel on your 775, but as I wrote earlier, the connector is on the other side, and if my memory serves me right, then there is a 0.4mm 40pin edp connector. You can fix the panel using double-sided tape, before centering it on the frame.

This is a mutant processor, a mobile i9-10980hk ES (QTJ1) soldered on a lga1151v2 substrate. An excellent processor, but very picky about memory bars, it does not start with all. Works confidently with SK Hynix 2133Mhz RAM, successfully overclocks to 2666Mhz after launch. Also, to run this processor, you will need a Dsanke 9900KS 128g bios.

that. is. hilarious! i love that selfmade "IHS" on top of the bare die mobile cpu which in turn is socketed on an LGA1151 adapter, genius! i love this kinda stuff 😄 and just goes to show what kind of added value a socketed cpu brings in a laptop

On the p870tm1-g, I use this heatsink for the 10-20-30 series of video cards, the temperature of rtx3060 is 35 ° in idle / web surfing, 60-65 ° in load. On rtx3070 38-40 ° in idle, 68-72 in load. On rtx3080 42° idle, 70-78 under load. Quite satisfied with the results of this radiator.

The temperatures seem very high to me under full load. At idle, the temperatures are like mine! I have under full load 50 - 52 degrees over hours with the RTX 3070...

Tell me in more detail on what device do you have such indicators? If this is a laptop, then the noise of the fans there is probably going through the roof, since it’s hard for me to imagine such temperatures at full load on the GPU without the cooling system running at maximum. I observed such temperatures only for laptops on the TongFang platform ( XMG Neo/Mechrevo/Machenike, etc.) with a liquid cooling system, as well as on Clevo p870/p775 with a custom liquid cooling system.

No, I do not use a refrigerator, nor water cooling. I use the large vapour chamber!
I can gladly make a photo if that is desired!

I don't use water cooling, just the big vapour chamber! Of course, the power dissipation must be transported away quickly. Only with the Vapour one reaches the highest power dissipation! I can gladly make photos later if that is desired....

hi again to the forum. im still waiting for some info about heatsink for my 3080, and would like to get my bios  to support 3080 natively.

Hi!

Do you have a hardware flasher and easy access to BIOS chip? If so I can help you with the actual BIOS. I can make your current BIOS support it.

There was one already out in the wild though. I believe it was dsankes BIOS with 3080 support. It was in one of the threads here. Up to you which suits you better.
