  1. Trevor Horn memories :O) This stuff is 40 years old !
  2. Twitter's US advertising revenue plunged 59 percent year over year during a recent five-week period, While Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion, he told employees in March that its value was $20 billion. A new analysis by Fidelity suggests the now-private company's value has dropped further, to $15 billion. The NYT also said it talked to six ad agency executives who "said their clients continued to limit spending on the platform. They cited confusion over Mr. Musk's changes to the service, inconsistent support from Twitter, and concerns about the persistent presence of misleading and toxic content on the platform." https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2023/06/twitter-us-ad-sales-plunged-59-and-internal-forecasts-are-grim-nyt-reports/

    Home, End, pgup, pgdn

Update, happy to have practical (1 hand) pg up \ pg dn. See attach. Used SharpKeys to reassign some 'free' keys never in use on my keyboard version (not the same as picture). Was thinking all keyboards should have a few extra free\not assigned keys, to allow for personalization without interfering with any original key actions. Also... what about a (well made, well designed) strip of keys between the space bar and the touch pad, with all the navigation keys in on place, accessible with one finger from the touchpad :O)
  4. Faithfull to Firefox after all these years, it's pricacy settings, the available addons, it's general behavior\speed\layout etc. Vivaldi as secondary (non-noscript) browser, enjoying it's endless configurations possibilities.
  5. "This shows why you should NOT be using Twitter, ever" :O) https://www.ghacks.net/2023/05/22/twitter-old-tweets-bug/
  6. ...and for those who miss it, or never knew about it: Wishbone Ash - Argus "I got to rearrange my life, I got to rearrange my world, I got to live again" :O)

  13. Have accepted that is more or less inevitable to keep some gstuff running (alt. enabling\disabling according to circumstances). Need bank apps with no trouble (f.ex. can't even think about using bank apk's not from gplay), & some apps won't work wo gstuff running etc. But am controlling as much as possible wo making things cumbersome, feeling of having a good balance between (some) privacy \ usefullness. See
  14. Good music for early mornings :O) Parasite Inc. - The Pulse of the Dead
  15. The very word 'privacy' has become a big joke. This data is sent without user consent, unencrypted, and even when using a Google-free Android distribution. This is possible because the Qualcomm chipset itself sends the data, circumventing any potential Android operating system setting and protection mechanisms https://www.nitrokey.com/news/2023/smartphones-popular-qualcomm-chip-secretly-share-private-information-us-chip-maker
  16. April kb w10 ltsc 1809, zero problems (as always with ltsc).
  17. The eternal beta saga continues :O) https://www.windowslatest.com/2023/04/13/windows-11-kb5025239-issues-file-explorer-ssd-bsod/ "Bing AI on the search bar or ads in the Start menu do not help when bugs are skittering in the shadows." "While Windows updates can fix long-standing minor bugs, they often introduce new issues that require additional updates to address. Unfortunately, this can lead to a never-ending cycle of fixing one problem only to create another."
  18. BleakHeart - Dream Griever
  19. Rezn - Garden Green
  20. March update done, w10 ltsc 1809, everything still working :O)
  21. Goat Explosion - Threatening Skies
  22. Complete madness 🥴, the telemetry evolution during the last 10 years, combined with the evolution of blindness \ acceptance from users regarding privacy plundering. And what we see taking place now in win, apple, android may be just a humble beginning ! So happy to be in a position to live well with 10 ltsc (O&O + some firewall), OS complete radio silence at boot, and stays that way until I myself choose to do something.
  23. Not completely fogotten yet :O)
  24. ISON - Inner Space
  25. Anyone experienced the fast health % loss hitting some models ? Numbers only while the drive is actually fine ? My 980 (pcie 3) holding up well. Magician recently offered a firmware update, maybe adressing some hidden bugs.
