  1. AL on W10 works fine, as aaron said, thread/task might be incorrectly running on E-core, it can be "fixed" by setting manually priority in task manager if you really need P + E-core working together. Also, note on Intel Arc GPU, the A370M is pretty much equivalent to a GTX 1650, both in laptop. I would guess the A770M variant will be similar to a 2080S desktop or a bit more performant than a 3060 desktop too, not that bad.
  2. Well, the thing is, if you have a 7540 with a 9880H+ or a 7550 with a 10875H+ or a 7560 with a 11800H+, you are getting pretty much the same CPU performance. However with 12th gen the difference in performance is HUGE, I have a 12600K in my desktop, with E-core disabled it's faster than the 11900K while having two core less, now if you had the benefit of the E-core, you are well above an overclocked 10900K (which is a "real" 10 core) in term of raw CPU performance. The IPC gain betwen "Skylake++++++++++++++++++++" and 12th gen is about 30 to 40% on the P-core alone... The current chassis started with the 7x50 series, so already two generation in total... I hope the chassis will not change, that way we could still upgrade GPU of older laptop to newer GPU 😉
  3. Thanks for both response 🙂 16" 16/10 Display share the same lenght as 15.6" 16/9, it's only the width that vary, it's gonna be very tight but I belive it's gonna works :), it will need to make some bezel adjustement/cuting
  4. Hi, I'm looking to upgrade the display on my Precision 7550, the current eDP cable I got is only a 30 pin one but I need the 40 pins version of this cable, I can't find the UHD version of the eDP cable for the 7550, only 7750 and 7560 are available. Does someone have the 4k 7550 version and could share me the part number of the cable (behind the display) ? As for the display I still hesite between the Macbook "AUO B160QAN01.0" 3072*1920 60Hz display and the "BOE NE160QDM-NY1" 2560*1600 165Hz display, both can be found for pretty fair price (about 150) and they are both 16/10 Thanks for your help 😉
