  1. I've seen an old post of rainer124 claiming, that he got a 980m to work in a p150hm/p170hm, already dm'ed him about it, very curious about his response
  2. I mean, sure its bottlenecked but it will be anyway by the first gen i7 even the 990x so wouldnt mean that much.
  3. Nah, wanna keep my d900f. The x8100 has a mobile cpu. This adapter claims to use full x16 bandwidth
  4. I heard from another user its x16 2.0?
  5. Cuz I wanna have a reason to keep it, its a great machine ^^
  6. Hmm... what about one of those weird mxm to pcie egpu adapters?
  7. I've seen a gtx 880m working in this, was a listing on ebay so it's definitely gonna work if done right.
  8. Yeah, wanted to get my d900f to work with it tho. Only has one mxm slot so is there noting I can do?
  9. Dud you try that yourself? I wanna get a gtx 980m to work in my clevo d900f, but it also seems to be hardlocked at the gtx 680m... 😪
  10. 750€ EVGA Z790 DARK KINGPIN Hi all 😄 I'm selling my Z790 Dark KINGPIN here. Reason for sale: To much hardware and I need some space. Plus, I have to use a laptop for work anyway. Works great though Condition: Very good, just some screws from the SSD-Cover missing, with box and full accessories Shipping: International shipping from EU possible Payment: PayPal, bank transfer (bitcoin), other methods on request This board is the final gift from EVGA to the fans; the last EVGA Mainboard ever made! It's a great opportunity for fans and collectors to get this special piece of hardware; especially in such great condition! If I forgot anything or if you have questions, please reach out! Made this post late at night so might have forgotten some stuff 😅
  11. Cool! How did you get the 2080 to work in a p150?
  12. Hi! Yes, I forgot about the note, will update ^^ Honestly, I don't really have aset price range and I'm not opposed to keeping it, till the right offer/buyer comes along. I removes the soft touch with nail polish remover and a sponge, was relatively easy. Then primer and 2-3 light coats of matte black spray paint. Shipping is a bit expensive but I think somewhere in the 100€ range if done right. I could research an exact price, if you're seriously interested 😄
  13. SOLD FOR 600€ Hi! Up for sale are my two Alienware M18XR2's. I'm open for offers! Will trade for Clevo D900F Some specs (Nebula Red): -i7 3940xm -GTX 680m 2GB SLI (one broken but with second heatsink, fan and SLI cable) - 32GB 1600MHz SKHynix (4x8) -SSD original MSATA or small samsung pro SATA Working battery! Condition very good, 90% left, 4-5 hours of use for browsing and light use! 2x available (1x 90% 1x 84%) Its got the good three heatpipe copper heatsink for the cpu and two NV100W GPU heatsinks, so perfect for modding. Its in a very, very clean condition (I cleaned every single part by hand, repasted and restored it completely) Repasted the CPU with Duronaut, barely audible in Windows. GPU is some cheap paste, since I dont game on it and only used it very rarely for a movie or two. The palmrest was in great condition but sticky so I removed the soft touch and repainted it in matte black -> very good result if I can say so! Its way more comfortable to use and no fingerprints are left on the matte surface. AC adaptor is a 240w one, dont have the 330 one anymore. The black M18X is also very clean, and in good condition, but with a broken display and broken keyboard bezel cable that controls the volume and stuff. But if course, I can put all of the components of the red one in the black m18x r2, if you'd rather want one on black. Specs: -I7 3630QM -16GB RAM -No GPU -2x AMD 100w heatsinks -standart cpu heatsink -240W AC I'll upload some more pictures if i see interest in these laptops or send me a dm. Dont hesitate to ask questions! Im in europe so shipping in EU is prefered but I can manage internatiol shipping if requested.
  14. Hi! I wanna buy/trade for a Clevo D900F I have a red or black M18X R2 (i7 3940XM) or Clevo X7200 (i7 990X) to offer, if youre interested in those. If not, cash works too. I'd love a brandnew one of course but I'm willing to take a look at one in any condition, so don't be shy to reach out 😄
  15. Hi, I got one in black, perfectly clean (sold my red one unfortunately) I still have use for it, but what would you be willing to pay?
  16. Yeah, but than you have 1000 Mobos 😂
  17. I unistalled everything, even reinistalled windows. I don't get errors I just can't turn on the wifi not with the new AX210 card and now also not with the old n2230 one. The thing is that everything shows in the device manager as it should; it properly detects the new card as AX210 160MHz.
  18. Thanks for the reply. I can get it to show in the device manager and the bluetooth works great but only the wifi doesn't. But now the original card also doesn't work.
  19. Hello, not really on topic, but I don't know where else to ask. I wanted to upgrade the wifi card on my P570WM to 6E. Even though the card gets recognized in device manager, I can't turn the wifi on as the button is greyed out. The wifi now also won't work anymore if I put the old card back it. I basically tried everything like driver reinstall, cmd commands, uninstalling the card in device manager, network reset, complete windows reinstall but the card still won't work... Any suggestion? Thanks
  20. Hi, yea I realised that as well, but I just set the price high since people like to negotiate. If I want 500 for it for example, people will bid 300. So if the price is at 900, it is more likely for people to offer a higher counter offer like 500-600.
  21. @Snowleopard That would be an awesome project! Always wanted to do something similar with other laptops too and I'd love to see someone actually do it, since I was too scared ^^. You could also use the chinese MXM 4090 to keep it modular like the original. With a shunt mod it could reach 5090 performance. Where would you get the mainboard from though?
