Is there a post with ambient temps you guys are getting? I want to know if I'm running too hot or not.

This was with the aftermarket PSU adapter the 300W one. For reference I have not yet repasted the laptop.

Encountered a weird issue. Under heavy load (260W Maximum) the power brick powers off. It won't power back on until unplug it and plug it back in. Concerned it may have kicked the bucket. Gonna try it with the OEM brick.

Alright. Got my new keyboard in (ended up costing me about 50 USD off ebay/aliexpress), keyboard skin 2-3 USD each, and a new laptop skin. That was about 15 USD. I'll install the skin tomorrow or this weekend. Looking forward to having this all wrapped up to help preserve the finish. Feels good to be able to type properly. I'll just keep the old keyboard as a spare.

Just eyeballed mine with a measuring tape (this is the 230W A17-230P1A) and looks like it's the 2.5mm/5.5mm barrel plug without a pin inside.

Just chiming in. Works perfectly. Just dropped it in and booted up no problem. Sucks I had to replace it but works like a charm. Thanks for your help MS-16L13.

Hey guys, my video card (1070) hit the bricks not too long ago. I want to replace it with another. I found one that looks identical. Only real difference is the version is 1.2 vs my 1.0 not sure if that makes a difference? On the die mine says 1687A1. GPU I found says 1709A1. Any hrlp would be appreciated.
