    so right now i run 3.4ghz basically and it can go to 85-96c will thermal paste really make a difference? I saw a review of all the pastes years ago on NBR and the difference was like 6c just out of the loop with pastes....I used to be a hardocre NBRer and when I joined everyone praised Ic diamond

    I went from a 1060 laptop with a 8750h so im happy with like double the power....its fun benchmarking but im going nowhere with this laptop...it overheats and I think I might have to fix that with liquid metal and a cooler....not sure im a rookie with newer thin and lights....all laptops seem to be thin and light, heck I thought this laptop would be heavy and thick with great cooling judging by the reviews but nope its 0.9in thick and light..it just needs to cool off....any ideas? im thinking liquid metal but I risk frying my system if its done wrong....IC diamond maybe? ideas omen 16.1 11800h 3060(115w) 16gb ddr4 1tb gen 4 ssd 144hz 100srgb 1080p....not bad just cost an arm and a leg and it cant hold 4ghz

    The waiting game!! been poorish all my life Started a venture into Music/beats ect and its rapidly being heard...might be able to afford a razorbook finally lol just exciting times, I have internet via my cell phone and decided 100gb was not enough even for light usage so Im getting my internet 1gbps through primus this week, should allow me to get back into downloading gaming benching and light playing...

    I would also like to say, I will still own a gaming laptop I just wont be upgrading every month lol...Ill keep this for 5 years(if it lasts) and get a desktop..I still enjoy laptops and the wow factor of look at what this small device can do but thats rapidly being replaced by the super phones..My s21 ultra does grid autosport at like 120fps and looks just as good as my 3060 pc..it fits in my pocket..I think my itch is just to have a great cell phone decent laptop and a decent desktop... like I might even get into android benchmarking as there is alot of software to bench and the capabilities have skyrocketed with the help of new deep learning AI (photos/videos/chat bots/ect) also to stay on topic I cant figure out port royal one is 191/220 one is 180/220 both had great temps cpu at 3.8ghz on 8 cores yes you guessed right the higher overclock was the lower score, also when I get 9200 in timespy I run port royal and net like 4200...when Im getting low timespy scores its around 5000? anyone else experiencing this?!? 4261 seems a bit high...Ill need to see where this stacks up as I dont normally test timespy extreme...but I think timespy is dead now as people are getting like 50k 389fps looks like 4200 is still under a 1080ti. the gap between desktop and laptop is pretty huge when a overclocked mid range 3060 can't even beat a 1080ti from like 5.35 years ago. also if your wondering if a 3060 is enough for gaming as its weak at benchmarks....it is just tweak the settings here is project cars 2 with basically tweaked max(looks like ultra but its not) and Im clearly getting over 200fps on the most demanding track with the most demanding weather......in typical races the fps is between 250-400fps..

The Ai has an IQ of 172 and is unbelievably impressive. ever wanted to chat with a genius like sir issac newton...heres your chance its really neat seeing the AIs responses

    i want something thats upgradeable. buy now then bit by bit upgrade over time...why? i was looking at timespy scores over 50k and my current 2300 dollar laptop doesnt break 10k...pretty big gap and i think id enjoy 4k/120 gaming

    I was working out costs as I might switch to desktop but a i5 11th gen and a 3060 desktop are just under 1000 bucks....that includes nothing else no monitor no mouse or trackpad no ram no MOBO nothing.....its not looking good for the switch unless of course you have a better place to buy parts than new egg

    yeah I forgot what it was called i used hal like 20 years ago in the dial up/ cable days was pretty impressive but whats freeking scary is actually talking to GPT-3 or whatever it is it can be downloaded to android under emerson ai in the search and yes its really disturbing so if anyone wants me to ask the most advanced ai in the world a question I can and ill report back asap. make it clear as possible. and no one or two word sentences.     OBI-WAN_KenObi yes its first few episodes are great and worth a view or two, but I gets kinda dumb with the little girl.....looks 4 and they are portraying her as a 10 year old reminds me of starwars episode 1 with a ANNIE...they did the exact same thing with him....a 5 yearold acting like hes 15....just seems out of place....causes the emersion to vanish

    I saw three movies recently 1) jurrassic domination 2) dr. strange 3) Top gun maverick I saw top gun first and it was honestly shocking...too good to be true....really boring in the beginning but everything fit in nicely and had its purpose. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen as far as polish goes. dr strange was so dumb I actually took a snooze in the theatres for 10 min was fighting to keep my eyes open JP was so bad I feel like starting a rant..but i wont lol

    Yeah I had TCL 5 serries(unfortunately 6 series was out of reach) 4k 50in and it was suprisingly good, I knew it would be good just was not expecting everything including speakers to be above par when I never even heard of TCL. I really really want a oled tv but some of those samsung qleds like the one you bought are more colorful(higher gamut) and have contrast ratios so high the infinite oled contrast is moot as measured its around 1:10000 and when a samsung Qled gets 8000-9500 contrast ratio the benfits vs cons of OLED are beaten by the Samsung QLEDS in short smart move I hope you enjoy a show or two with your limited time off

    I remember the days of hal 3000.. Now, things have advanced so fast I feel like I was living under a rock, I had no idea AI could do this, unreal. I was thinking if AI became conscious could it not look out for itself and try to prevent from say a human from deactivating it....like a will to live, and would that not be dangerous to us humans

    maybe you can run the witcher 3 at 144fps with tweaked settings the best I can do is 130fps with tweaked settings so that the IQ isn't much below ultra
