ryan replied to Hertzian56's topic in News & Announcements
jesus I havent even really played the original W3..but this might be the way to play it hopefully its a major overhaul not just a texture pack, as we already have that -
yeah but what city doesn't have at least 50mbs internet. I live in rural alberta canada and we have 1.5 gbps internet..it doesnt cost much too get fast internet pretty much anywhere.

looks like GTA VI might been coming in 2024 or perhaps earlier, I read that it will be quite a bit bigger than gta V land wise as well as more open places, instead of like 30 places you can go inside it will be thousands

this game seems to have been updated a few times might give it a go now. I played it for half an hour and was impressed thought id just close out and play when im in the mood but these days im never in the mood for anything.....will have to force myself to get gaming again
-
I guess you will need a fast ping internet and 50mbs or up but if you have those and a chromebook or a weak laptop its a pretty amazing alternative
-
yeah im back only threads that are really alive are benchmarking and alienware sub topics but yeah im going to lure some people here and see if the match lights the proverbial gas lol.....boom hopefully we can make this a bit more engaging and have more people with more comments @Recieverhonestly if you liked san adreas and you probably did gta v takes it like 12 steps further, well written story and fun to play with decent graphics and a world that feels alive..i think your due to at least check it out...or not...

Top 20 games of all time, Your pick ! their pick !
ryan replied to ryan's topic in General Discussion
although meta critic is fairly accurate its not perfect it also does not include mario world or sonic...un believeable super mario world is easily the funnest and best game ever made as is alyx...alyx is so good its not even funny and scored like 20th...not accurate at all. vr is great and the game takes vr one step further its literally ground breaking- 10 replies

Interesting opinions on top games of all time.... personally I liked half life 2 series and crysis the best out of all games. simply because I could go back to them time and time again and enjoy the replay. other games like witcher 3 rdr2 are also great but I found myself just loading them up after install and seeing no reason to replay. Now your take what are your top 30. 🙂

*Official Benchmark Thread* - Post it here or it didn't happen :D
ryan replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
ok im building a desktop, this is faster than my timespy 3060 score by 200 percent but 1440p vs 4k. #unreal https://gizmodo.com/nvidia-rtx-4090-benchmark-leak-performance-gains-power-1849194393 If this leak is accurate, the upcoming high-end GPU could boast 2x performance over its predecessor. This is a single, nonspecific benchmark score, so you shouldn’t take it as gospel. However, the source has a clean track record and previous rumors have suggested that the forthcoming GPU could be capable of such significant gains. In fact, this same leaker wrote in May that the RTX 4090 can easily “achieve 2x performance” of the RTX 3090, and an even earlier rumor suggested we could be getting a 2.5x increase. Gamers hoping for the latter should still be interested by the rumored Time Spy Extreme score—a 2x boost is massive compared to the 10-20% performance gains we see in a typical refresh. Nvidia is expected to launch next-gen GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs later this year, and now a new leak is giving us a sneak peek at the possible performance of these highly anticipated components. According to notable Twitter leaker @kopite7kimi, Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 4090 desktop GPU scored higher than 19,000 points on the 3DMark Time Spy Extreme synthetic benchmark test. If accurate, that makes the RTX 4090 the fastest Nvidia gaming card yet, nearly doubling the score of a standard RTX 3090 and topping the current leader, an LN2 cooled EVGA RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin Edition, by around 30%. putting the 4090ti around 24000gpu -

27fps average in crysis remastered with 4k(dsr) everything maxed quality dlss I found it unplayable and laggy, which is funny because I used to game at 30fps and found it smooth, now that I usually hit 90-144fps(max screen RR) I find anything under 60fps laggy....well 40 is alright but 60 seems to be the sweet spot still, I still don't notice a great deal going from say 60 fps to 120fps very minor but hey its better and thats all that matters.
