LOL my first exact thought when i watched that vid was like: oh heck, definitely someone at NBT gonna buy such a monstrosity and set it up in their living room or study at home LOL luckily, the RivaTuner platform behind Afterburner will keep getting developed. im sure other vendors would be more than happy to find "alternative" payment methods for such an excperienced individual 🙂 sweet, give us the rundown when u get it! what made u choose the suprim liquid? and yes of course, if u got sufficient money AND the will to not overpay significantly above MSRP ull always find ways to get ur hands on hardware. just saying that even at 4090 spheres ppl seem to lose patience FAST. i mean it took me roughly 2 hours on launch day having open 12 tabs (10 for shops, 2 for reviews) with constant refreshing across all of them to get my hands on a sku i was happy with. sure, its not a total walk in the park but absolutely doable and not really a big issue when talking such crazy sums. BUT when looking around online in the following days, most ppl were like: yeah i tried one shop and gave up after 20-30 minutes, ITS WORSE THAN DURING CRYPTO! blah... 😛 -
haha one can easily get overwhelmed at first when looking at the Prema goodness 😄 should be two different menus, one in the overclocking section, the other in the cpu config section. however, each model's bios is slightly different, they dont all match up exactly. best thing is to get to know ur bios intimately to properly use everything it has to offer! 🙂 as long as its the same Clevo base model, different vendor bioses dont really matter.

haha aw man i miss the nexus phones! my last google phone was the nexus 5, after that Huawei and Xiaomi before coming back to the Pixel 7 Pro... only tiny gripe i have with it is its comparably "small" screen, would love a 7+ inch model! 😄 -

cool man, i see u got the black shaft sku 🙂 im still waiting for mine, but its on its way! how many bit sets did u get? i figured while paying so much for shipping i might as well just go all out and get ALL sets 😄 hope this will arrive soon, so i can use it for all the furniture we still need to build here... 😛

yeah thats always the issue with K5 pro, its awesome for bridging uneven gaps and less hassle in terms of not having to measure out pad thicknesses, but in the end it all becomes a total sticky oily mess 😅 welp i guess theres always tradeoffs! yeah that can be tricky, getting the voltage too high OR too low can introduce instabilities, same goes for timings. if u choose them TOO loose itll not boot either. also be sure to give it some time for training before u give up on a setting, say 20 min or so. sometimes it only boots after several failed attempts. and yep, as mentioned before, Prema bios has the FN+D combo for resetting Bios without having to pull CMOS battery every single time.

hahaha whats up with you and the 10th? seems to be a big day, mentioned it several times already in the benchmark thread 😄 unfortunately, havent come around to much lately, too much going on with the new job and getting the appartment ready for the baby....so basically very little time spent with my hardware baby hahaha

aight guys, been a week of furniture building, getting paperwork ready for the kid and reaching the next level in my new job. time to see what uve been up to 😛 aaaaah daily dose of uncle Fox entertainment LOL welp, stuff all the nooks n crannies in a market and leave no space for any competition, win 😄 wait what? X370? whatever happened to the stillborn X270 all Intel crap edition? 😄 i sure hope that was lessons learned for them and theyre now planning to go back to their DTR roots... any sources, additional info on this? that case and AiO combo looks somewhat familiar... 😉 haha so funny to see ur back and forths on choosing GPUs, really curious on what u will end up with for this gen 😄 not that many scalpers anymore vs. during the mining boom. its rather AMD and Nvidia letting those gpus trickle out bit by bit in order to create artiificial scarcity and keep prices up as much as possible. just look at all the shops, they still get regular batches in, just tiny in size and theyre bought up right away. then wait a bit for the pressure to build up before u release a tiny bit again....digusting tactics. ha, 4090 TI at 2k would be a total bargain. id wager 2500 MSRP if they stick to 24GB vRAM and 3.5k+ if they actually are mad enough to go 48 GB 😄 waiting game...see how initial reactions are and what Intel is up to.... give it a few days / weeks, those early bird prices are always crazy high and drop fast to the actual market street price. ah gotta love GN, Steve just states things as they are, no BS 🙂 wtf, what kinda crazy insane story is that ROFL. makes my setup look like a budget machine in comparison (in pricing only, of course 😛 ) almost spit out my cheerios with milk while reading that 😄 -

sigh yeah thats the thing with tech & science....by itself completely neutral, just depends what u do with it. can go either way, from saving humanity to destroying it. -
absolutely best route to go! especially for such a simple app, u dont need to take every shitty lil thing online these days, geez...

AMD shouldve gone budget this time around and eat up some of the lower revenue in order to bring more people on board AM5. the more ppl they can bind now the more will likely upgrade and stick to Ryzen CPUs. maybe they have learned a bit in the meantime, cpu and mobo pricing for AM5 has decreased considerably since launch, but ppl are still waiting for 13900KS and X3D 7000 skus to surface in bulk before they jump onto the nextgen wagon i reckon...

keeping an eye out for that, as well @looming crash. the real, actual consequences of the pandemic are still bound to happen, especially here in europe with the unnecessary war being waged on our backyard and letting regular people suffer insane energy prices. lucky those who will have enough money left to make dirt cheap investments right after the crash, as usual... might be something as innocuous as them being able to access a wider range of CPUs as time passes and thus adjusting their algo for calculating the SP. -

im highly skeptical of folding phones tbh....modern devices are fragile enough as it is, the folding part makes them even more so. not a good thing for something that is supposedly being thrown around a lot and stuffed into bags n pants all over 😅
