    nice writeup, thanks for that. havent gotten around to watching it yet, but its on my playlist. this sounds like Starfield profits way more from raw jiggahertz than it does from increased cache sizes. curious to see how its performance numbers will develop with upcoming patches. especially on the cpu side there seems to be A LOT of performance still left on the table....

    noice! welcome to the 8k club! how stable is it? what mobo are you running? and what sticks? damn thats a very nice write up, thanks for that 🙂 ill check and see if lowering VDDP will help, fingers crossed! whats the max bootable frequency u were able to do on AM5? irrespective of stability, just bootable.

THATS 2.4 FPS LESS THAN THE 4090, HOW DARE YOU WANTING TO SETTLE FOR LESS /s 😛 hey bud, yeah booting with 8000 is not the issue, its getting it stable that is 😄 as for being stuck at 1.43V, look for a bios option that unlocks RAM PMIC high voltage mode, then u can go above 1.43. good input there, thx for that. i didnt expect the board to be the bottleneck here, would suck if its not tied to the CPU IMC. lets see what upciming AM5 CPU gens bring to the table, im expecting an improvement with new IMC, even on the same board. heres to hoping! and in the meantime, ill keep on tweaking and tuning...i want my 8000 stable! 😛

    what res are u testing it at? try and bump it up to the max. also set your gpu back to full stock, see if that does anything for the gpu utilization. if it does, might indeed be a cpu bottleneck potentially caused by the unoptimized engine. its at least capable to scaling up to 6 cores / 12 threads.... https://techreport.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=86637

    hmmmm u think its stable yet? 😄 so i went ahead and completely nuked my bios including all my saved profiles, starting from scratch. had the feeling somehow that switching RAM kits and having upgraded like 4-5 bios versions while carrying over and mixing old profiles might have fucked something up. back to square one, manual input all the way. lets see what we got now! ah, the wonders of ram tuning.....lulz

    ok didnt see THAT one coming...how long has herkelman been the radeon graphics boss? all the way back to hmscott's beginnings at NBR? u sure about that? it would be roughly the perf. of a 4070 Ti, so maybe equivalent to a 5060 Ti released around the same time... thats pretty lowend for your standards 😋

    LOL had to laugh at that, HECK of a way to go out with his 4090 blowing up on camera and breaking a world record run 😄 hey bud, im currently also playing around with DDR5-8000, any pointers for stability? GDM disable is a total nogo for me, instant BSOD when i try to boot. VDDIO maxed to 1.58V, VDD(Q) at 1.6, VSOC 1.3, turned down FCLK to 2000 until i figured out stability, VDDP 1.18, loosened timings.

    its pretty for sure, i used to rock a P150HM myself back in the day 🙂 yeah, that was one of the HM series annoying disadvantages, its lack of GPU support...the subsequent EM and SM series were way more forgiving in terms of unofficial GPU upgrades! latest I heard was 980M being made compatible after heavy bios modding....but that was a one of a kind mod and destroyed the mobo in the end haha.

    well, he cleared the way, really, had to utilized internal contacts so we can get our hands on the signing key. unfortunately, thats not something we can distribute openly 😄 thinking is rather to make the mod itself available to owners of this machine, but that would depend on the rainbow master himself on how to approach this. makes sense, with the stock 230W psu only short peaks would be doable. if the CPU alone is already drawing as much wattage as the psu is rated at, then u wouldnt be able to keep that up for long without tripping OCP or OPP haha. thanks for checking 🙂 cool, sounds good. keep on testing and keep us updated! unfortunately im also somewhat limited with the current 12600 in my lady's machine, K series skus allow way more tweaking.

    yes and no haha. as you know, im running premamod on my lady's machine, but in order to flash that custom code we needed proper signing. otherwise it would block everything and just result in a brick. sooooo yeah....custom flash is possible but ull need the official signing making it basically a "stock" bios for the system haha. very nice, good job there bud! iirc i also managed to peak at ~230W, lemme rummage through my screenshot library real quick... edit: actually, nope, maxxed out at 145W! thats impressive, what kinda psu are u sporting? also, can u confirm this via hwinfo64? is it repeatable? u using a different TS version than before? different settings? give us the deetz! haha

    i have a nice comparison between my workspace at the office and at home: 2x27inch 1080p monitors vs. 1x32inch 4K display. to be totally honest: with regards to available workspace, those two are more or less the same to me (the 4k has higher gamut and brightness so nicer picture 😋 and less head movement back n forth due to just one display to focus on) haha i loved that comment 😁 sorry to hear about that "lost order" bud...fingers crossed all goes well! lulz here we have a full crapton of enthusiasts basically always going overboard with everything...enter bro @Recievergiving overkill a completely new meaning 😂65 inch 4K displays for work, dayum! hahaha

    nnnooooo dont give up on your one month vacation! no big malls around where u could get some mobile AC unit? btw gaiz, happy to report that ddr5-7800 is stable! now continuing with 8000 and trying to get 8200 to boot 😁

    id say give it some time, ddr5 is still fresh and developing like crazy, both price and performance wise :) 64 gig modules will pop up for sure at some point...
