oh im having a blast with our cute lil princess! no time for much else except household chores and work, but thats life worth living! 🙂 lulz actually just watched that clip, hilarious how creative those scammers are! 😄 but nah, got very good deals on additional 4TB 860 Evos, 150€ a piece and most of them basically new with super low TBW. very happy about that 🙂 and dude, the lil one is only 3.5 months but already looks waaaaay different from the day she was born, time flies with lil kids... the former, and unfortunately the barebone was the very first thing that was snatched up! makes sense, since it had a one of a kind PremaMod installed on it 😉 (no worries, got permission from the unicorn master to be able and sell it with the machine). sure bud! that one is still available and also comes with preinstalled PremaMOD vBios 🙂 hit me up via DM if youre interested. not that i wanna toot my own horn here, but just in case u guys are interested, i also still got the following hardware to get rid of: - G.Skill RipJaws 2x8 GB DDR4-3800 SO-DIMMs - 330W Delta PSU with 4 pin barrel connector - Rockit cool Delidding kit for Intel 3rd up to 10th gen - Intel Celeron G3900 with stock intel cooler (ikr 😛 used it for testing purposes on my Dark Knight hahaha) can also just check my ebay account gabe-george2 for details. but be sure to hit me up via DM here for NBT discounts haha. yooo Raiderman! NBT da place to be for us old NBR farts hahaha. hope ure well 🙂 oh and here some rainbow unicorn puke for brother papu @Papusanwe all know how much he loves it 😄 -

sup bitches 😁 thought id come up for air a bit from my "daddy leave" haha i can see our townsquare thread exploded in my absence, good job guys! enjoying Hyperion whenever i find 5 minutes or so for tinkering / media / gaming. just recently expanded my SSD storage to 24 TB total (for redundancy purposes, thought its finally time to get some backup action going). also currently parting out and selling off my beloved P751DM Dark Knight on ebay, damn that took me a while to finally get around to it... next purchase is likely a 2x24GB DDR5-8200 kit, my current 6600 kit has a defective RGB strip on one of the sticks. the new kit would help me avoid any downtime during the warranty process (perfect excuse to upgrade lulz). DDR5 prices have been decreasing incsaaaaanely ever since i got the 6600 kit, crazy stuff! cheers! -

iirc Eurocom does offer "unlocked" bios versions. theyre not as good as Prema Magic, of course, but still offer more than full stock. do you sport one of those? her? 😄 if one cannot change anything about the hardware, i.e. getting new RAM sticks / new CPU, then u might wanna look into RAM temps, as well. reducing RAM temps under load can help a ton with stability under OC conditions. would involve some modding though, i.e. drilling holes into the bottom cover, using a cooler stand or implementing an additional fan for extra airflow across the modules.

any particular reason ure aiming for the Strix? at identical prices all around id probably opt for either Suprim X or Strix myself but with current pricing the Strix is just way way WAY overpriced. while not giving anything back performance-wise. haha lets see how long it takes to wear down your rational parts 😄 welp, at least we still have other choices available, plus the platform behind AB (RivaTuner) will continue to be developed. so theres a chance a custom stand-alone tool will come out or maybe another vendor would take over. im still hoping that EVGA will continue developing their Precision X tool, Ive actually come to prefer it over AB after bro @Mr. FoxFox recommended it (using it with an MSI Suprim X btw, works nicely) thats the smart way to do it my friend. and being a hardware enthusiast doesnt necessarily mean u always play around with the latest n greatest, just means u appreciate hardware at another level vs. regular joe 🙂 sigh, i feel ya... i have roughly 2500€ worth of hardware laying around that i wanna sell off. and plan is STILL to post it here on NBT first. whatever is left over will go on ebay. but that needs time! argh -
not only that, but AMD is apparently planning hybrid cpus in laptops with regular Zen4 cores coupled with "Zen4c" cores, basically cut down Zen 4 cores tuned for efficiency, lower clocks and lower peak performance. sounds familiar? 😅 apparently, especially the 7600 and 7900 skus are pretty good, the 7700 is more in a nomandsland and cant really compete with the intel offerings...

good point. like on NBR ud have a separate section where u could list all threads u posted in or that uve subscribed to. that would be quite handy 🙂 unless we already have that option here and ive just been too ignorant to stumble upon it haha

all BGA Clevo X370? more info on that please so i can properly vomit and mourn.... 😅 -
LOL lovely, nicely put hahaha thats the thing though, right? on one hand u get those STUPID naming schemes and Nvidia doing their best to hide any shortcoming from the consumers via their non-existent spec sheets. on the other hand u get 3090-3090Ti performance in a frigging laptop at one third the board power (which is, of course, awesome, but also still to be proven by third party reviews and hands on users). in the end it just leaves you with a sour bitter taste in your mouth with a hint of confusion and melancholic thoughts towards the "good ol' days"...sigh

LOL my first exact thought when i watched that vid was like: oh heck, definitely someone at NBT gonna buy such a monstrosity and set it up in their living room or study at home LOL luckily, the RivaTuner platform behind Afterburner will keep getting developed. im sure other vendors would be more than happy to find "alternative" payment methods for such an excperienced individual 🙂 sweet, give us the rundown when u get it! what made u choose the suprim liquid? and yes of course, if u got sufficient money AND the will to not overpay significantly above MSRP ull always find ways to get ur hands on hardware. just saying that even at 4090 spheres ppl seem to lose patience FAST. i mean it took me roughly 2 hours on launch day having open 12 tabs (10 for shops, 2 for reviews) with constant refreshing across all of them to get my hands on a sku i was happy with. sure, its not a total walk in the park but absolutely doable and not really a big issue when talking such crazy sums. BUT when looking around online in the following days, most ppl were like: yeah i tried one shop and gave up after 20-30 minutes, ITS WORSE THAN DURING CRYPTO! blah... 😛 -
haha one can easily get overwhelmed at first when looking at the Prema goodness 😄 should be two different menus, one in the overclocking section, the other in the cpu config section. however, each model's bios is slightly different, they dont all match up exactly. best thing is to get to know ur bios intimately to properly use everything it has to offer! 🙂 as long as its the same Clevo base model, different vendor bioses dont really matter.

What phone are you daily driving currently?
jaybee83 replied to Katja's topic in Mobile Devices & Gadgets
haha aw man i miss the nexus phones! my last google phone was the nexus 5, after that Huawei and Xiaomi before coming back to the Pixel 7 Pro... only tiny gripe i have with it is its comparably "small" screen, would love a 7+ inch model! 😄 -

cool man, i see u got the black shaft sku 🙂 im still waiting for mine, but its on its way! how many bit sets did u get? i figured while paying so much for shipping i might as well just go all out and get ALL sets 😄 hope this will arrive soon, so i can use it for all the furniture we still need to build here... 😛

yeah thats always the issue with K5 pro, its awesome for bridging uneven gaps and less hassle in terms of not having to measure out pad thicknesses, but in the end it all becomes a total sticky oily mess 😅 welp i guess theres always tradeoffs! yeah that can be tricky, getting the voltage too high OR too low can introduce instabilities, same goes for timings. if u choose them TOO loose itll not boot either. also be sure to give it some time for training before u give up on a setting, say 20 min or so. sometimes it only boots after several failed attempts. and yep, as mentioned before, Prema bios has the FN+D combo for resetting Bios without having to pull CMOS battery every single time.

hahaha whats up with you and the 10th? seems to be a big day, mentioned it several times already in the benchmark thread 😄 unfortunately, havent come around to much lately, too much going on with the new job and getting the appartment ready for the baby....so basically very little time spent with my hardware baby hahaha
