damn what an odyssey...quoting this one but have been following the rest, as well. i really didnt expect anything like this from the "legendary" AX1600i tbh. until the TX-1600 was only recently released, i actually had the 1600i in my wishlist quite firmly... LOL i sure hope everyone got the tongue in cheek in this convo 😛 😄 we would all be out of a "forum job" if we all only followed the sensible value route regarding hardware 😂 and we cant do that to poor bro @Reciever DUDE! no way, u made the jump and got a 4090! 😮 u planning on keeping the stock AiO? pls update us on what the vBios limits are, apparently there are two Liquid X versions out there, one with 530W and the other with 600W limit. in any case, crazy prices back and forth, ull enjoy that beast of a card nonetheless. i know i am 😎 -

i bought it for...um....reasons! 😂 jokes aside, psu is a component ure gonna ideally be using for a looooong time, as you yourself did with the previous psu running 14 years! so i went with Seasonic due to longest warranty provided at 12 yrs , went with 80 Plus Titanium due to it being the only level where they specify low load limits and with the TX-1600 specifically due to it having 2 native 12VHPWR cables out of the box. thus, full package! 😁 ol, lets see: thats 24 USD per year, times 12 years on warranty equals 288 USD. so with the cheaper psu ure saving 250 USD on the upfront pricing and losing out on 288 USD for electricity, the more expensive one at 500 saves u 288 USD 😎😁 btw, please do another calculation on 12900K vs. 13900K saving u a few seconds time in benchmarks 🤣 oh yeah right, i forgot, us here dont really look for best VALUE or best EFFICIENCY 😋 so in the end its all money down the toilet and we might as well just stop all this nonsense 😂 man, im still skeptical as to all the instability and driver issues on Intel Arc. pls keep us updated on any wonky behaviour! i for one wouldnt choose Arc for a build serving non enthusiasts... wouldnt wanna waste time troubleshooting. huh, this is weird. the fact its mentioned in a review points toward it being a common thing for this psu? mind providing some pics? -
actually nothing tech related, but rather stuff for the household / our new appartment: tons of mobiliar, lighting, accessories, etc. and geez that stuff is expensive...

haha its funny though, the 4090 is the most "sensible" halo gpu in a loong time. currently the only 40 series card (including the upcoming 4070 and 4070 Ti models) that has ANY value proposition to it. not because its "cheap", but because its so INSANELY fast that its 1600 USD price tag actually seems good 😂 speaking of which, i should finish up gpu ocing in the upcoming days, got sidetracked with playing Wolfenstein lol. finished the new order and started the old blood, tons of fun!

that looks sick. i have the feeling AMD lets their partners have significantly more leeway in designing their custom GPUs vs. Ngreeedia.

of course, just like he did with Tesla: invest early, throw out all the OGs and call yourself the founder 😄 https://www.cnbc.com/2021/02/06/tesla-founders-martin-eberhard-marc-tarpenning-on-elon-musk.html

funny to see how "frugal" youve become in terms of spending money on new hardware my man 😄 but totally the sensible thing to do! nevertheless, i find it amazing how crazy fast DDR5 prices have dropped in just 3 short months. i can now get a 32GB 7600 kit for the same price as i originally bought my 6600 kit 😮 duuuuude, did u test all those urself? crazy stuff man, but awesome data 🙂 i kinda get the feeling that Nvidia is now focusing on maintaining the "dollar per fps" ratio and keep it stable, thus ever increasing GPU pricing, since: they give u more and more FPS, right?!?!?! lulz on the other hand, their plan is working, 40 series GPUs are so ridiculous in their pricing (aside from the 4090) that ppl rather go for the 30 series. lets see how much, if anything, AMD is able to change that in mid Dec.... definitely a nice upsell, im sure u will not regret that BEAST of a psu! efficiency king to this day, even after 4+ years of having been released! -

LOL i actually got more excited about the superman cameo in the end than the rest of the movie hahaha i actually liiked Love & Thunder 😄 but i thought that Ragnarok before it was a total trainwreck hahaha in any case, soooo happy than Henry Cavill is back to being Superman 🙂 -
on the other hand, he only exposed what was a horribly mismanaged platform without any rules or regulations whatsoever. best to do it now than let it build up even more, wouldve been even more of a wideranging impact.

those specs sound quite insane. id love for the green team to get a big ol' can of whoop-ass to get back to their senses! -
nah, just industry standard. wait for hikes to 40% due to "inflation", everyone's favorite excuse to raise prices currently 😛
