same issues with 10th gen, tried every driver install combo in existence, nothing, s. blaster atlas does not work and not even pc support was able to help ( colour me surprised).

Got a question I'd like to limit the battery charge, if possible so that it doesn't degrade as much when it's plugged in other than simply removing it altogether, I seem to remember there are some clevo stock apps for such a thing but cannot find them anymore, does anyone have them? Thanks a lot

yes indeed, I myself used it with a key I purchased, it was LTSC 2019, and there was also a guide to get rid of xtu and control center components.

I believe the problem comes from nvidia thinking we at home can afford running a nuclear power plant just for a single stinking gpu, thus making it harder to have a neat mxm module that resembles its namesake to at least 75% of its performance. By the look of things it seems the trend is getting worse with the 4000 series

I seem to recall firmware issues of some kind, maybe I remember wrongly from the old forums. Personally I have a 2080S so a change to a 3080 seems rather pointless, but was interested in the theory

people in this forum suggested going for win 10 ltsc, which I did, years ago, and for the most part I find myself liking the reduced amount of trash installed at every update, rest of the trash is easily removable with sophia script and other tweaks, however I wanted to ask if you'd be willing to suggest good alternatives to windows defender, free preferably but can go for cheap purchases

after failed attempts at using the ccc + xtu, i went on to clear it out of my pc, using throttlestop and this bios unlocker, find myself much more at ease

there is no option for xmp on bone stock bios, either prema or the dsanke unlocker to be able to see it, I tested clevo's stock bios and xmg's, no option to toggle it. Dsanke's works great so I have been using it

So I tested again, with .04 clevo bios and dsanke's unlocker. Xmp does not work using the sub keyboard slots which was I think stated in the old forums too. Xmp works with 1 stick under keyboard and 1 on the other side of the mobo. Xmp, or not, both bottom slots do not seem to make this ram kit to work, I found no evidence of damage, corrosion or anything that could justify a broken ram slot. So I think that my ram is temperamental and likely not working proper. EDIT n2: well, now it works on the slots beside cpu, with xmp...I am confused, maybe it really was the bios, for whatever reason

1.35, I literally only activated xmp which worked for a year on this ram. Opened up for regular cleaning/ changing liquid metal, without touching anything, bam, this problem starts. Ram sticks still work without xmp but only if I mount 1 under keyboard, one beside the cpu. It doesn't look like to the defective slots but not sure.

By the way I just discovered my heatsink, gpu vram side, had 2 stacks of thermal pads on one series, apparently last time pcspecialist mounted 2 of them.. Edit: I may have found out the problem, both sticks do not boot if mounted on the same side for some reason, barely works if 1 is mounted in the other side but fails any stress test.. Is it possible that xmp with this modded bios killed or rather damaged the ram sticks?

It was just the bios, needed a few reboots and another clear cmos to start Way to give me heart attacks lol
