What version is that? Edit: I ran it without having Rebar vbios as well. -

You wouldn't need to do that. And even if you did do that, you can just turn it off in the bios. and continue to run CSM. It works with older versions as well I think...you are only changing 3 profiles in there from 0 to 1 basically which enables rebar in those profiles. -

My SP97 ran that same thing as well..... So maybe we need to try using the other method with CB R23 -

Okay, I had it running at 4.9 Ghz for some reason, but I guess that did not matter as it's still the same running at 5.1 Ghz I must be doing it wrong..... Edit: When chip is colder it reads SP99 113/72 -

Thanks. It's just going to be a waiting game on that. And you are totally right. the 2 dimm boards are king in memory over clocking right now. -

Hummm, so that means I would need to get a hero board and ditch this Unify until my Unify-X comes back from MSI RMA. Also to see if it reads my SP98 chip lower/the same or higher. And for the time being I need a higher stable memory board to at least keep up. I might be stuck if I get a really good KS.🤦♂️ -

Soooooooo, I have a KS sitting at Microcenter, but now back to having to get an Asus board to see what it is. Have they fixed the SP rating on the KS chips or is it still up in the air? -

That does seem to hold pretty true. So am I as. I did not power that board on either. (I did not want to take any chances with my new parts.) I would have been far more upset if they tried to decline the return, but it was pretty painless. Still a serious inconvenience though, as they do not have cross shipping nor advanced RMA. -

After calling them back they and said the board wasn't fixed, they issued a second rma and paid for return shipping. they are issuing me a "new board to me". Not sure how long that is going to take though. The 1600W Super Nova rma was issued on a Wednesday night. Shipped out Thursday morning, they received it Friday morning and shipped new psu Friday morning and I got that on Saturday. Talk about fast return! The Kingpin was the same way, but took 1 day longer in the process. -

Soooooooooo. I get my Unify X board back today and go ahead and put it back on the bench and low and behold...It's not fixed! 🤬🤬 For what I sent it in for it looks like all they did was clean the board somewhat and put it in a new box and shipped it back! Saying it was fixed. QC is crap! -

Well they got the phantom at 1149.99 https://www.microcenter.com/product/632829/asrock-amd-radeon-rx-6900-xt-phantom-gaming-overclocked-triple-fan-16gb-gddr6-pcie-40-graphics-card -

Exactly. Everyone is not rushing to by 12 series system. At least not in my line of work which is the pc industry. So 10 and 11 series system are perfectly fine. I deal with normal folks on a regular basis and about 98 percent of them are not talking about top of the line anything. budget is king! 😂 -

Now I'm in no way shape or form a good memory overclocker, but running this vs running latency at like 55+ and higher never ends well. -

Hummm, he must have another video showing what he did....4133 cl15 from what exactly? Running 7000Mhz for what again exactly? He could have ran 6400 mhz and lower the timings to get the desired affect instead of bragging with the look at me running 7000mhz on water at cl32.🤦♂️ The higher the mhz the higher the read/write/copy speed is, not the latency. In the end he is right that one does not need to upgrade to ddr5 at the moment, but then everyone is entitled to their own decisions... I didn't use a chiller to break 16k, did it on the AIO which I previously thought was like impossible. Due to my first sample. Can do like 15.8 to 15.9k (Port Royal)on 520W vbios as well. I was lazy there as I did not dial anything specific in just tried a few things to see what would happen. You run out of watts long before temps kill you off. Also yes, I'm using the 1K vbios, but have the 520 and 480 on position 1 and 2. -

Thanks. I just set NVVDD 1.2V and MSVDD 1.1V and that's it. Your card is a good one as it already had high memory over clocking and is able to run constantly above 2220 MHZ core. My best card was crying at 2165 core / 1400 memory -
