  1. I don't know...the competition seems pretty tough at the top.😀 I only grabbed this because it was there, but if I had a choice it would have been different. With that being said I do like how it looks though, even with it's size and lighting. The lighting is neither over bearing nor displeasing to the eyes and the soft edges are nice. As to performance, these 4090's are definitely on a whole new level. I had to run a few test twice just to be sure that it was actually right. It's been a while since we had this type of turn around. No worries, it's like that sometimes. 🙂
  2. Buggy benchmark? I'm not running my cpu flat out, just doing some testing of this card first.
  3. I'm resetting driver and settings and rerunning it again. Edit: I mean stock. Edit: No go. Still low numbers. I did manage to hit 37900 on GPU....once. LOL Edit: Edit: https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/31366505/spy/31363576
  4. Houston.....errr, ah, California. We have a problem! It would seem the 4090 does not like Windows 10. First stock run fans on stock.
  5. In reality, that is how it should have always been. No way a XX90 should be paced by a XX80 card. So as to your other question....so far it seems like 465W is max.
  6. That boils down to the person working that day.... You can plan and plan and plan and still not come out a winner in the end though....
  7. Sure, i'll try to run it in a bit. I only called it that because you said Zotac was trash. lol @Papusan I have no intentions on keep this card. I went to Microcenter to pick up an order fo my client and asked if they had any cards left and they said they had 2. And 1 guy had one of them in his hand looking at it. I was like....Okay let me get the other one. This was at about 8:30AM and Microcenter opened at 6AM. 1 minute later 3 people came up asking about cards, but they were sold out. Max Fans https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/80836154 PS: But I am keeping that PSU though. I haven't taken it out of the box yet, but at some point I will.
  8. This is with adding the max, 110% form 100% No change in clocks right now. 🤣
  9. And here is the reality. Using my bloated gaming version of Windows 11 with "all" updates and patches and what ever else they do in the background. Fans on stock and nothing else done. Stock Run Out the box. 3rd on the 3dmark for the time being. (12900K) @Papusan It literally reminds me of a dam Carnival Cruise Ship. 😂
  10. @Mr. Fox I have no real clue if Koolance is reading correctly or not as 1190 LPH seems pretty damn high for a single pump.( From what I saw posted) That is like 20 LPM @Papusan No problem bro.
  11. Here is to give you an idea. (This is also based on who considers their LPM to be the correct one) In my case my max flow rate with no obstructions, but still long tube length. (Like 12 Feet of tubing) 3 D5 Pumps. Example for conversion is 6.2 LPM=372 LPH LPM GPM Hz This is 1 pump LPM GPM Hz Now with the GPU and CPU and Filter with 1 pump. LPM GPM Hz With 3 pumps. LPM GPM Hz Edit: Single pump with 2 1/2 feet of tubing is 4.9 LPM Swiftech D5 pump.
  12. Wow, didn't even know about the front mesh kit to add 3 more fans. I did get the second io kit for usb though.
  13. Thanks. It was the board I had on hand for my AMD/5950X. I decided to keep it and just upgrade ram to 32GB/new case and new easy to use fans for my server. As my server has been running a 7700K/Z170 for many many years now. I'm not real happy with that MSI water cooler though so I may swap that out for a different one soon.
  14. hummm, i see picture size has seriously been degraded.... Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO Tempered Glass ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case - Black Lian Li UNI FAN SL120 Fluid Dynamic Bearing 120mm Case Fan w/ Controller Lights on. Lights off.
  15. Hummm, I must have missed where you pointed that out to @Mr. Fox when he didn't beat his 5950x @ 32.6k with his 12900K/KS at 31.5k. Or where @Papusan didn't beat it either with his 31.7k score with his 12900k. That's what had me confused.
  16. You kind of have me at a loss. Just how is the 12900K suppose to beat the 5950X in Cinebench without using LN2/Dice/or Cascade? Im using my SS at the moment just testing the waters to see what it can do.
  17. All I can say to the "bite the bullet" is I have done than quite a few times over the years. Which resulted in thousands and thousands of dollars lost in the time span from 2008 to 2022. One can not win them all and you take the wins you should not have gotten with the wins that you did and most of the time you are still far on top. This is pretty much true for most people.... As to the 12900KS, more than likely it is bad. As was my first 12900K when I basically had to replace everything. Motherboard/GPU/Power Supply/Memory and finally the CPU because it kept throwing errors after the new parts were installed. Not really sure I would be using that for work as memory type errors are much harder to recover from if the system crashes one to many times. Playing games and encoding videos is one thing, but mission critical is quite another to in trust in a system that is not fairly stable with memory. And using a laptop is really not a down fall as it can be connected to you current keyboard, mouse and monitor. Convenient? Not really. Doable for a few days? Definitely. And it is very well possible the MSI mother board did in fact kill the CPU, but that usually only happens when the pins touch or the socket had moisture in or around it and condensation or a drop touched the board in the wrong place. Or liquid was under neath any one of the heatsinks or pads that have to be taken completely apart to even figure that out. Boards can last fairly long with 50/50 but direct liquid is usually instant fail though. Case in point. When my system was sitting under and inch of 50/50 it was still running, but because I did not fully clean the board I lost everything on the second boot attempt. It wasn't until I stripped the board and used my microscope to see between the components that stuff was stuck between the legs. Along with all the other things wrong. Now I'm like 50-1 (They did not replace a Kingpin 1080 TI because they said it had water damage - So I had to pony up and buy another one.) with EVGA, but I did ask that since it was their water block that broke and cause this, would they cover the replacement parts. The answer they came back was yes if that was in fact true. After they tested the block, they came to the understanding it was. Once I found out that everyone else was going to replace the parts, I let EVGA know that it would not be needed. Only the GPU/Block and PSU, which they did..... But when something like this happen quite a few years ago...it was quite a different story that cost a few thousand dollars because of my mistake.... For the record I'm still on the same Unify-X. All MSI did was to repair it. Which I have no issue with as long as it works as intended, but when it comes back with broke pieces.....Then I have to use other means to make it right.
