  1. I have now checked the CPU expansion to 13th 14th Gen HX! That would work, but the effort is relatively high. You would probably need 2 new PCBs especially for socket 1151 and an extension for the motherboard.
  2. It doesn't seem to be just one particular display, I tested it too! AUO makes very good displays. You just have to build appropriate mounts. If you are creative, you can make a solution. The 4k 120Hz display works flawlessly, for example. In my opinion, one of the best displays. Of course, 144Hz is a bit better :-)
  3. Exactly what I mean. The ADT adapter would only work with 8 lanes on the P870xx. But my adapter works with 16 lanes. I have developed one especially for this series of the P870xx! It is really compact and fits exactly into the P870xx...
  4. No, I don't use anything like that! I have made my own solution with which then 16 lanes works. With the adapter only 8 lanes would work. My goal was to integrate the desktop card. With your adapter this would not work...
  5. You can also use two cables for graphics card all the time even if you use only one graphics card with little power! This halves the load on the motherboard and increases the durability of the SMD devices. I have in any case not exceeded the maximum power of the motherboard so that you can use the power without hesitation. The new ADALOvelace generation is absolutely brilliant in terms of performance. The performance of the card in relation to the power consumption is gigantically good. My power supply hardly gets warm. There is less power loss and the heat increase in the notebook is low. The RTX4070, for example, ran extremely well...
  6. The power supply is designed for maximum stress. If you have a card with little power, one power supply is enough. If you need high power up to 450W you have to use 780W power supply or 2 330W power supplies. In the maximum versions you must also connect 2 aux cables. The power supply is designed for 2 aux cables!
  7. Yes, but I'm not at home right now. I'll call you later...
  8. My allowed file size is reduced more and more the more images I copy in!🤔
  9. I can not upload the pictures!? Only with very little space...
  10. Here is my first Photo from second version Power Supply for MXM Project in P870xx...
  11. I am also sure that it is interesting for many who have a Clevo P870xx. Such things go but only in large books that offer the space and have the prerequisites! I can show you how the power supply looks like installed in the P870xx or where it sits! There people can imagine how I mean it...
  12. Yes, the electrical power comes directly from the 2 graphics card cables! I have developed a complete internal power supply for the P870xx...Yes, the cooling will be as thick as that of the vapour chamber of the p870xx...The Cpu wiwrd difficult because the gen. have a different power protocol.... The 10.Gen still goes, the other would be associated with a lot of effort....
  13. I know what you mean. My development allows to run cards with 300- 400 W in the P870xx...:-)
  14. I rather think not! The are forced by the shareholders and the pressure by the contracts and the monetary system....Would be nice of course, but at the moment it does not look like that, as I said...The GTX990M was but also MXM Factor. I'm talking about a complete desktop card:-)
  15. The P870xx then has real desktop GPU power and real desktop CPU power. I think this is a novelty 🙂
  16. The RTX4070ti is connected directly to the MXM port x16 lanes, yes! Nothing with TBT or other things. It's still in an experimental stage and there should be a RTX4080 installed soon in P870xx:-) I have indicated it on the picture, as the location of the card is in the notebook. I do not want to take pictures of my ideas for now. Make but the given time.
  17. That would be my solution to keep the MXM laptop(P870xx) supplied with new graphics card generations!:-) And another picture shows my last system Spec:-)
  18. The monetary system with interest is decisively involved in it! It will become even worse, I think...
  19. That's what I'm saying, many only look at the bandwidth and forget that any inter-coupled chip causes latency. From a purely physical point of view, this causes delays in real time. Another example is PCIe 3.0 to 4.0, where there is little difference in games even though the data rate should be much faster. Here, nothing has changed physically on the data line, so the transmission is approximately the same and CPu works just as fast. There is no huge difference between 9th gen - 13/14 gen....
