Nope. And not sure I can or will. My shaky hands and the warranty is important in the used market. $3500 USD is a lot money for a retired man. Hope I with time can get an unlocked vbios. Yup, Intel is in trouble. Not the best product with latest gen, problems with previous gen 13/14th gen + tariff war on top can be too much. Lag behind in AI is also a drawback. This is like pee in the water. Won't help much. Intel begins selling "IPO-Optimized" PCs in China with up to 10% extra CPU performance with OC and patches How can Intel build trust with how they treat their customers? Release a disaster then move over to next and hope for the best. LGA1954 in, LGA1851 out. 1851 have been a disaster both for Intel and their customers that pay for it.. Intel's next-gen Nova Lake CPUs will seemingly use a new LGA1954 socket https://wccftech.com/intel-nova-lake-s-desktop-cpus-feature-support-new-lga-1954-socket/ Thanks for the info. I can clearly see not everything is functional in US right now. Egg prices are too low. That can't be correct, but who knows. There is always a reason people don't buy or can't buy. Either are the prices too high or there is lack of what they want. Can of course be both. -

Congrats. Only one left, wow. Is there still problem get 5090's in US ? And what did you pay? Not sure what extra tariff/or tax you pay in California. Isn't it different from State to state? -

If Nvidia run into problems serving China with real AI server chips... What is better than sell 5090(D) chips and vram for workstations/mini AI accelerators for the China market? This will also benefits Nvidia's partners to keep up highest possible ASP for 5090 Geforce gamer cards. Blower-style RTX 5090D leaked on Bilibili — two-slot GPU design built for AI rigs The Chinese market will likely be looking forward to the appearance of the blower-style 5090D. This would allow smaller firms to gain access to relatively capable hardware without dropping huge amounts on the most advanced GPUs they can get from the black market, or the China-specific Nvidia H20 and AMD MI308 GPUs, which were recently cut off by the U.S. government. Nvidia vows to continue making products for Chinese market In fact, it is completely unclear how Nvidia plans to 'optimize' its GPUs for the Chinese market from mid-May and onwards as the new export rules prohibit selling American AI GPUs to adversary countries like China and Russia. Nonetheless, it looks like Huang's company is trying to find a solution. -

And Nvidia continue with buggy broken drivers. Confirmed by nvidia themself. Weird that a pure software company does worse with it's drivers vs when Nvidia was a real hardware manufacturer. Maybe because they rely more on AI software to tweak their drivers? New is always better, LOL -

Maybe you should jump on it😁 Because you never know where the tariff will lands. All depends on how good Nvidia's Ceo Jensen is in the corruption game. You need good friends to make big money as you know. Those with enough money pay to play whatever the tariff will lands. Paying 245% above MSRP isn't a problem if you have the money. But it will become more expensive to be poor. Even for the average taxpayers. US government confirms 245% tariff on select Chinese imports The United States and China are engaging in a tit-for-tat trade war, and currently, Chinese goods are facing a 145% additional fee when they enter the US, but the White House just confirmed that's not the total, as the tariff can reach up to 245% Lawmakers demand answers from Nvidia over suspected GPU diversions to China, company denies any wrongdoing Massive 366% chip shipment surge to Malaysia amid increased Nvidia AI GPU smuggling curbs, ahead of looming sectoral tariffs How much are you willing to overpay for the 5090? And gamers on the green side should be happy their expencive graphics cards works at all... Amazing the reviewers didn't see more problems with 5000 series than what they already experienced. NVIDIA releases massive GPU driver update addressing stability and black screen issues Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Review The GeForce brand has eroded over these past generations to the point where we're now dealing with broken ray tracing promises for the masses, fake frames, and even faker MSRPs. It might sound harsh, but it's the reality: the GeForce 50 series has been one of the worst GPU generations we can remember. Can it be worse? Yup. -

Some prefer better custom design over performance. Or maybe they think more vram will provide more performance? Is more always more?🤔 Some RTX 5060 Tis sell for more than RTX 5070s! As for the RTX 5060 Ti, the cards were launched yesterday afternoon. However, as is often the case, things are going in all directions on the premium card side . Indeed, some references sell for more than the higher-class GPU . Yes, you read that right, RTX 5060 Tis sell for more than some RTX 5070s! Does smaller PCB reduce the costs? And will chopped of pcie fingers save the card from bending and cracking the PCB? Me thinking this cute card need to be bending proof😂 You need to be quite clumsy if you are able to crack this Gigabyte board. Does this Gpu need support bracket? 🤐 https://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.php/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/65938-geforce-rtx-5060-ti-mit-16-gb-im-test.html -

Not sure what I will say to this. If Benchmate ain't enough for hwbot... What shall I do? Go for 4th place? Or ask for free hardware and fab custom firmware?🧐 Maybe sign up as elite. But they prefer play alone in their own playard. So forget it.. They don't allow vanilla benchers. Better get a life @Rage Set https://hwbot.org/benchmarks/gpupi_v3.3_-_32b/submissions/5821316 -

Dang. Asus going cheapo. I wonder what 5060Ti Astral would cost if they made them in that Sku. Only $599.99. My best guess would be $660 as stated before. https://www.asus.com/us/motherboards-components/graphics-cards/all-series/filter?Category=NVIDIA&SubSpec=376554 ASUS GeForce RTX 5060 Ti TUF OC 16 GB Review with pure rasterization, without ray tracing or DLSS, we measured a 13% performance uplift over the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB, which is quite small. Thanks to its factory overclock, the ASUS TUF OC gains an extra 4% in real-life performance over the base RTX 5060 Ti, which is small, but every bit helps of course. Competing cards achieve similar performance levels, with all cards hitting +3% or +4. While ASUS ignored multiple requests for pricing, now we know why, the card is listed for $600 on Newegg, which makes it $170 more expensive than the baseline MSRP, or +40%. In return, you do get a fantastic cooler with excellent fan settings that result in very little noise. Look for the used market. I'm sure you find something for your need for much lower prices. -

You ain't a kid anymore bro. You are starting to grow up😁 @Mr. Fox RGB puke is awful. And the same can be said about the baby cores and no HT. Intel can't grasp see the reality. But lower sales and market shares means less spending on TSMC wafers. A big win for intel? E-cores and the loss of hyperthreading aren't helping Intel win any future gaming crowns. As games become ever more multithreaded, Intel's hybrid CPU design might start to lag behind AMD's simpler but more effective architecture This is laughable... MSI want $590 USD for RTX 5060Ti. With or with out the tariff? Hmmm. @electrosoft said MSI offer premium for lower prices... Will we see Asus break the $650 price level for their best 5060Ti custom card? https://us-store.msi.com/Graphics-Cards/NVIDIA-GPU/GeForce-RTX-50-Series/GeForce-RTX-5060-Ti-16G-VANGUARD-SOC And the 8GB cards for $470. This start to be perverse. https://us-store.msi.com/Graphics-Cards/NVIDIA-GPU/RTX-5060Ti/GeForce-RTX-5060-Ti-8G-GAMING-TRIO-OC-WHITE?sort=p.price&order=DESC -

I said it before. China and Asia have 5000 series cards. Just jump into a shop andgrab what you prefer... And cheaper as well. Of course they have them.... Asia is 1/3 of nvidia's GPU market. And with no extra tariffs. Edit. New batches with 5090's out here today. Gone in seconds. All we have here home is a couple of web-shops and need competing with bots one time a week. Rather say $3000+ for the 5090. 50% more expensive for 50% more FPS vram -

Nvidia believes 8GB extra VRAM for xx60 cards will tip the scales. How much does it cost Nvidia to scrap 8GB cards to make them function properly for the next 3-4 years? Or maybe Nvidia want that you go for a tier above? In short nvidia mean You better go with the 5060Ti@16GB cards at minimum $429. Does this mean we will see $550 from Asus Store for their better xx60Ti cards ? That's only 28% price hike so not bad? Yup, before the tariff tax kick in. Nvidia won't be making any Founders Edition RTX 5060 Ti or RTX 5060 cards, leaving all three variants to its AIB (add-in board) partners. That also means Nvidia has no direct control over AIB graphics card pricing Nvidia says it made the decision to stick with 8 GB on two of three of the cards to "optimised for price and performance". Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 announced, starting from $299: 'We can work with our partners to get these out at reasonable prices, which we are doing' Nvidia is fully aware what they offer for gamers the next 2-4 years forwards... People mostly upgrade every second gen. So the 8 Gig cards nvidia so kindly offer should be here until spring 2029🤔 Does this mean game studios will give nvidia a helping hand so people can enjoy their 8GB cards until their next upgrade? -
Polartherm X-8 and X-10, the best thermal pastes in terms of quality/price ratio? We can find the Polartherm X-8 for sale on Amazon from 6.90 euros, with 12.10 euros for 5 grams, 13.48 euros for 10 grams and 26.15 euros for 40 grams. Although these prices include shipping, we have seen in other stores how prices start as low as 1.80 euros for two grams , with 10 grams costing around 5 euros. These are sensational prices for a thermal paste of its quality, unbeatable by any other. The Polartherm X-10 , on the other hand, starts at €7.90 for two grams and rises to €38.76 for 40 grams, both with shipping included. Again, other stores offer it at a fantastic price , with the 10-gram syringe being unbeatable for €7.70.

Already at $600 USD you have crossed the line for proper pricing for a high end boards. Everything above this is the greed tax. Remember you can still buy lower end boards below $200. $600 should be max. And even that is an awful price to pay for play. I'm sure Asus charge +$100 for the so called innovative 3D Vapor Chamber heatsink for M.2 SSDs -

I really like that MSI was smart enough to get rid of the cut-out for the GPU on the backplate. Maybe new engineers? Asus couldn't afford do the same... If they did they had to use a small piece of thermal pad above the GPU spot. Aka Asus saved 3 cents going with the cut-out backplate design. And congrats on a working card 🙂 I put notification for both Astral OC models. And i got the LC model due me had the chance within the 30 sec time window. Just a coincidence that it became this card. Happy with the pricing here? NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti $379/429 MSRP may be right, but GPU stock might be awful and prices inflated Look at this... Only $1400. This is on level with Nvidia's perversity. Disgusting. https://videocardz.com/newz/asus-officially-announces-rog-crosshair-x870e-extreme-motherboard-costs-1400-in-china -

Near or as close to real Nvidia MSRP it doesn't really matter what you get. But many prefer the FE models for it's looks and the small form factor. If you go after so called premium cards and the price gap isn't huge between the different models (they all cost +$500 above MSRP) then you should be more picky what you pay for. I have more difficulty to accept get graphics cards that is way overpriced and still don't offer much value above the MSRP cards. Pay lets say $2800 for a cards that should be closer to Nvidia's MSRP isn't my way to do so. If you remember the 4090 series... FE cards got 600W vbios while more expensive mid priced 4090 cards come with castrated firmware. You just can't rely on that nvidia will give you the chance to cross-flash firmware. Especially important have in mind on day one purchase after launch. Because you just can't trust Nvidia or AMD. -

Hmmm. You don't find any FE cards here home. And at that time you didn't know if you could cross-flash firmware for the FE. Not even sure you can do it now. Hmmm. Some really want that FE cards. I didn't have many choices. No HOF and I don't like MSI or Gigabyte. I could of course get the Palit cards. But sadly it cost close to Astral. Why buy cards you don't like in middle price specter? Neither fish or bird. Then we have what is available of cards. Not many brand's SKUs in the shops here. And the few, they are all gone after 1-2 minutes. In the beginning right after launch... Gone after 30 sec. That have improved massively since launch... From 30sec to 1-2 minutes before empthy😬 -

Close to $1500 USD extra doesn't bring much extra. Only a much deeper hole in your wallet. And the cheapo sag bracket and the kids ruler with golden paint that come in the Asus box give you zero value. -

Cheapest shop if you can get a card on the hook (I did). They run empthy within 2 minutes for each new batch cards. 5090 TUF ~ $2163 5090 TUF OC ~ $2534 5090 Astral OC ~ $2805 5090 Astral OC LC ~ $2954 The second biggest retail shop here home that offer cards (and still have them in stock but at +500$ above the cheapest shop). I expect this is the reason they still can't get rid of the cards. Prices have been like this since launch. Aka +- a few dollars. The 24 Astral OC LC I talked about that was in stock a few days ago have now sinked to 19 units. Not easy to get rid of if the expensive Asus cards if the shop want extra for them. We have had campaigns right after launch with maybe $100 discount on a few Asus flagship cards due the high launch prices. But not anymore. Edit. FYI. Asus 5080 Astral OC is $1551,66 right now. And in stock in the cheapest shop. Don't forget the sticker😁
