  1. Arctic offer support for all newer and older models from Intel and AMD AC LF AIO coolers. But the AIOs come in several revisions. Not sure all the shops have latest revision. Should be stated on the package. Search their support and you find more before or after the purchase. Here is a few samples where you find info https://support.arctic.de/lf2-360-rgbr3 - https://www.arctic.de/Liquid-Freezer-II-AM3-Mounting-Kit/MPSAS00784A Search up what AIO cooler you want (with or without bling bling) then check the info, manual, installation and package content + spare parts https://www.arctic.de/LF2-360 Or just send Artic support an short email and ask what revision have the needed parts. But you normally never know what revision AIO you'll get if you order from a shop. Maybe ask the shop support as well. I had to order the 1700 kit as the shipped package was too old. Shops normally offer spare parts as this as well.
  2. Pay premium for average quality is a problem. And I had to buy more parts for my pc and re-do a lot on the custom loop (+ I swap out and in a lot cards). So the already expensive card will even be more expensive without providing much more. And yep, my wife is wonderful. She didn't mind that I swap out. And even more expensive doesn't matter if I become a happy man 🙂 A lot people will buy cheap. JUST LOOK WHAT WAS OFFERED FROM THE RED AND GREEN TEAM. And in there Intel have chance. Who would got for premium from Intel on a unfinished GPU? There is no reasons for Intel try compete in high end now. And there is no reason for people pay premium for Intel graphics.
  3. If they really need a waterblock to cool a 75W Gpu in a SFF case they should perhaps swap out the awful chassis to something better (in SFF form and shape) insted for paying +250$ for the waterblock😁
  4. Why in hell make a water block for a cheap 75W GPU? Profits beat common sense. And I'm sure there is buyers there out for this. And many of them have more money than brain. This is brain death. Add shipping cost and +25% tax on top ofthis for Norway and the block will cost +252$. Fantastic. The A380 waterblock is now offered at $190, which unfortunately $60 more than the A380 SKU itself. The A380 waterblock alone is ‘an interesting’ idea. This is a 75W TDP graphics card that hardly requires more than two fans, yet now we are getting a liquid cooling alternative. However, there is a growing community of content creators and gamers who are using A380 GPUs for their video encoding work, where the A380 serves as a co-processor. Those systems may already be liquid cooled, so it would probably make sense to put all discrete GPUs under water. https://videocardz.com/newz/bykski-releases-waterblocks-for-intel-arc-a770-and-a380-gpus

  6. A nice before Christmas gift from Redmond 🙂 WINDOWS 10 UPDATES Security update KB5021233 may cause blue screens computerbase.com As Microsoft has announced, the latest security update KB5021233 for Windows 10 can lead to a blue screen. Update 12/19/2022 2:13 p.m. Forum » Windows 10 21H2, 21H1 and 20H2 can also be affected As can be seen from the list of open bugs , not only the latest release Windows 10 2022 ("22H2") is affected by the possible blue screen caused by the bug in December update KB5021233, but also the previous releases, in the form of Windows 10 21H2, Windows 10 21H1 and Windows 10 20H2. A bug fix for all affected versions will be made available with one of the next updates.
  7. Have returned the new and fancy. So back to the old 🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5147290_papusan_3dmark___cloud_gate_geforce_gtx_980_ti_81769_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5147240_papusan_3dmark___sky_diver_geforce_gtx_980_ti_69754_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5147235_papusan_3dmark___time_spy_geforce_gtx_980_ti_7574_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5147296_papusan_3dmark11___performance_geforce_gtx_980_ti_30589_marks?recalculate=true
  8. Always nice sit with the best binned chips themself. And you don't even need to pay more for them. And on top... You can sell sell of the seconda binned chips you don't need yourself at higher price to your own (AIC) partners. This is a double win. Nvidia vs AIC partners = 2-0 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 OC Shootout: ASUS, COLORFUL, FE, MSI, GAINWARD www.tweaktown.com Best Overclocker: You'd probably think it was the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition that is the best overclocker, but you'd be wrong... the ROG Strix RTX 4090 was topping out at just 2940MHz but your results may vary. The best overclocker that I've got here with my pile of custom GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards is NVIDIA's own GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition which hit 3080MHz (but crashed) but was perfectly stable at 3060MHz. And Nvidia don't even need the best cooling when they have the best chips. Less cost for the cooling. This is the tripple win. Nvidia vs AIC partners = 3-0 Pay more, but get less. Maybe fancy colors/theme is what you really want... Then you have to go with a custom card (Nvidia don't offer this, hence cheaper cards). Of course nice colours/themes/custom cooling come at Premium $$$$$. Binning isn't the only way to milk your wallet. And the AIC partners know all this.
  9. I wouldn’t mind that😊 But the only drawback would be being put in same league with Elite benchers on LN2.
  10. I did a ful cleanup of MSI afterburner when I saw the voltage slider was greyed up when I used 4090 first time. Then installed the beta version that should open up for the latest and greatest from Nvidia.
  11. There is 3 files in the folder. Only one contain all settings. And yep, I don't see the need for newer drivers on older cards. They are usualluy worse for benching. But, I prefer that they don't make this ugly move. Either intended or a bug. But this is not acceptable. I have paid for the card. And Zotac have offered OC software you can change the most. Why mess up what have worked before? Imagine they do the same for 3090 or 4090 once the cards got bit older? And 980 Ti was the previous flagship. This can happen again. And Nvidia have been there with lapotop graphics. Nothing is holy for the green idiots. Edit. Unlike the NVIDIA reference design, EVGA uses a Richtek RT8802A voltage controller on their card. It is functionally very similar to the controller on the reference design--both do not offer I2C voltage control or advanced monitoring and are cost-effective solutions Evga went cheapo for some of their cards. Voltage capped at 1.2V. I should instead went for a MSI Hawk. (if I remember correct, I mean KEPLER cards had voltage limit at 1.306v). And cap max fan speed at 90% is also a stupid move from EVGA. A few brand did also that for the hot running GTX480/580. Better that the cards boil at max allowed temps than offer full fan speed.
  12. Yep. 3 option in the folder. And only one file contain the info string you showed. Have edited this file before. I have a EVGA graphics card that is fully locked. I found it out afterwards that EVGA really screwed up. They used a voltage controller that is fully locked. Disgusting, isn't it? I think MSI offered a card in same series with an contoller you could change voltage with an custom vbios. Evga, nope. And same for some other brands.
  13. Didn't work. Did a DDU cleanup and installed latest driver from 400 series. Bang, and voltage adjustment sticks. I haven't tried the first driver versions from 500 series. Will do when I have the time. I hate disgusting! For the records... Tested also Zotac's own OC software. The setting sticks when I apply. But when I run the render test the voltag is default. Yep, disgusting. Maybe a bug, but how long will Nvidia continue with their screw up? Until people gor feed up and buy their new overpriced 4080 Scam? https://hwbot.org/submission/5146270_papusan_3dmark05_geforce_gtx_980_ti_109046_marks?recalculate=true
  14. LOOL. This is the sign of todays tech... Barely better and sometimes more ugly than ever. Core i9-13900KS Special Edition Appears Barely Faster Than 13900K In Cinebench AMD Addresses Controversy: RDNA 3 Shader Pre-Fetching Works Fine And if you put some sugar on todays new tech, then expect some will be damn trilled (Lisa Su's favorite expression) https://videocardz.com/newz/yeston-radeon-rx-7900-sakura-gpus-officially-introduced-featuring-sugar-cooling-solution
  15. Hi. Have the card boxed down for shipping. And reflashed org vbios back. But here’s an score from before. See link. The ECC junk destroy the fun. Not sure if I want a new. And the 3090 is still damn expensive and probably more fun (works on Win 7). And I use this OS a lot. Maybe I’ll sit on the fence now see how the prices will be for newer cards. But one thing for sure. It won’t be AMD. ECC enabled https://www.3dmark.com/pr/1952906
  16. And they are gone for ever. This without a notice. And thoose that doubled up $$$$ for points on the bot with the latest and greatest SLI will see their points vanish into thin air. They all will be gone. I hope people have more use for cards in SLI for own work than for benching. More people will see their ranking and points going down the drain. Never pay too much for benching. Only pay more for your needs. But I know, you know all this, bro John. Paying a lot for Hwbot, is only for the very few (Elite/in-house/have contacts benchers). But they pay nothing. Everything for free. Those get the very best bin quality possible, special firmware/software/unlock keeys and full custom support from the brand. Regardless if it's about Cpu, Gpu, MB, Mem or PSU. All is hand-picked and not for the mass. Only for the few. MultiGPU and 3090/6900XT moderation hwbot/forum
  17. Won't be the huge loss if the card isn't what you hoped for. You won't lose much $$$ if you sell it if you aren't happy with it. A lot worse with more expensive things. More expensive = Higher loss. Sell a new car you aren't happy with would be a lot worse brother, Jaybee.
  18. Yep, I see this on the ranking list for 3090 SLI... I can't see it other way than they screwed up. The scores are legit and should be put back.
  19. Can you check if the scores was from SLI (multi-GPU configurations) in 3DM 2001 ? I mean they talked about that benchmarks a few months ago. There is always a few that screw up for all others. Some's mentality is pretty broken. Or they are just stupid. Edit. I mean I saw it here... Deliberately disabling GPU Cores for 3D Benchmarks
  20. Shouldn't drop that much if they go back to the normal. 2 or 3 places down if they don't screw up even more 🙂 Not all got same love. Only a few. Yep, very weird. Edit. Can you see what scores that was kicked out? You talked about SLI. I think they talked about remove some SLI scores... At least for 3DM 2001. Some smartasss did some tricks so the scores went higher than they should for some of the sub tests. Only for SLI systems..
  21. Thanks bro John. will test it out later. I will also check out at what drivers the changes was made. Seems hwbot have done some weird things for their ranking. Me had Nr1 in Norway + Season ranking and 2nd for Enthusiasts league. Now everything is colored in Gold. Probaly something very weird going on with their ranking system or servers. Or just screwed up.
  22. Me had latest stable Msi Afteburner installed. Fully working voltage control on all my cards. Swap out and in and no problem with any of my cards. Me put in the brand new 4090. Me see the voltage slider is greyed out (can't adjust voltage). Me downloaded and installled beta version and the voltage slider come back in the light again. This for the 4090. Maybe new card, but i mean it should work for all cards. Even the newest.
  23. Have +87mv aviable on the slider. Have tested several vbios but this one works great. But the stupids at nvidia removed voltage adjustments in any type of OC software with latest drivers. Voltage tuning work well for all drivers up to I think 525.22 (Nvidia's release driver for ADA). I think max is 1.28 or 1.3V. And voltage monitoring isn't 100% reliable on Maxwell. 1.280v custom vbios is in fact 1.3V real voltage from my understanding. But why change this now? 6 years after the Maxwell cards got relased. Me think Nvidia screwed up. You also needed beta OC software to be able to adjust the small voltage headroom for 4090. I expect the same for 4080. It seems Nvidia treating desktop cards equal bad as Mobile graphics nowadays. Just look at what they tried do with the 12GB scam version of 4080 (brand it as a real 4080). New times and new screw ups. Just as expected.
  24. Dang 😵🤯😮 But Nvidia ain't much better bro John. They have now blocked voltage control for 980Ti from 4090 release driver 522.25 and the same also the newer drivers. Click on the voltage control in MSI Afterburner and Nvidia inspector just put the voltage slider back to zero. They do nothing. I know you had to install newer MSI Afterburner Beta 2 for voltage control for RTX 4090. Hence I had it installed on my Win 10 OS. Then I tried to reinstall latest stable MSI Afterburnerer, but nope, same shiiity. Nothing happen. The sliders crash back in Zero. On two of my other ssds I have Win 7 and Win 8.1... And the voltage control work as intended bacuse of older drivers. Pervers!!! Ins't it nice bro @Mr. Fox ? Or you feel like this when you see how Nvidia do it for older cards? 🤮🤢🤮 Oh' well, will install other drivers for Win 10 later when I have the time. A few more benches from the old... The one Nvidia hate. https://hwbot.org/submission/5145120_papusan_3dmark05_geforce_gtx_980_ti_107823_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5145192_papusan_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_980_ti_87089_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5145238_papusan_3dmark11___performance_geforce_gtx_980_ti_30426_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5145284_papusan_aquamark_geforce_gtx_980_ti_599332_marks?recalculate=true
  25. LOOL. I don’t torture my cards. I just give them some love🙂 But thanks. Nope, not in this sentence. Zotac had a much better design before. And in the older days you got more for your money regarding overclocking out from the factory custom cards. What do they offer you today for massive premium? 100MHz at best? Probably less. I have a lot more fun playing with the older cards. Make very good bench results with new modern cards need sub zero temps, fab custom firmware and support from the AIB partner (reserved for Elite benchers).
