  1. The "Trash boat" light (Zotac 980 Ti) Z-O-T-A-C @electrosoft 😀 do it quite good in Aquamark. 63th Global on hwbot for 1xGPU and 25th for GTX 980 Ti is within reach. So the Zotac trash boat floaty well on the bot🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5144454_papusan_aquamark_geforce_gtx_980_ti_597133_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5144458_papusan_3dmark2001_se_geforce_gtx_980_ti_208806_marks?recalculate=true
  2. What you have learned today: STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES - FORREST GUMP Reviewers who have also managed to take a first look at various custom AMD Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards have also reported inconsistent and fluctuating clock speeds on the cards. AMD had also promised up to +54% improvement in power efficiency but that was no where to be seen and the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture blew away RDNA 3 GPUs in all power efficiency metrics on review day.
  3. Because the main target group is in Asia. Just look at all the cards with kids theme (Anime) on hardware sold for that region. White, Gold and pastel is very popular. Maybe not your taste?😀 "The main attraction of the MAXSUN GeForce RTX 4080 iCraft graphics card is on its back which has an 'Enchantment Heart Princess' cover on it. You retain lighting on the backplate, sides, and front of the card but ARGB makes it just a whole lot better if you want your PC to bling and stand out from the rest in the aesthetics department."
  4. The Galax touch on this 4090 card isn't worth a dime if the KFA2 model is treated as their unwanted stepchild. And why use the well known Galax Hood on the box? So peple think they get Galax quality and performance? Maybe because of the 4th fan on the backplate as the real Galax cards? This would be the same as put an Porche logo on a small and weak VW Golf 1.3 (Stupid for the masses). KFA2 GeForce RTX 4090 SG review: Uncompromised 4K gaming with the new Nvidia flagship With an additional 13%, you can increase the power limit of the KFA2 GeForce RTX 4090 SG to about 510 watts. Nvidia's Founders Edition even allows for up to 600 watts, and the Palit GeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC only 500 watts. But in practice this doesn't play a major role, since only in the rarest cases the power limit of 450 watts is even reached.
  5. EPIC GAMES STORE And again, a free game greets you every day computerbase.com | 12/15/2022 The annual holiday sale starts in the Epic Games Store and in addition to discount prices, there is a free game to pick up every day. The first free game this year is Ninja Kiwi 's Bloons TD 6 , a colorful tower defense game that was first released in June 2018. The Epic Games Store 2022 Holiday Sale starts today and will run until January 5, 2023 at 5 p.m. There will be one free title every day for the next 15 days. At this point, the following free games will be added as a short update to the message.
  6. The world is full of stupids. Just look below. People gladly pay 71% more over previous gen Nvidia xx80. How is this even possible? Nvidia's RTX 4080 Tops Newegg's List of Best-Selling GPUs The GeForce RTX 4080 doesn't currently occupy a spot on our best graphics cards page, largely due to its price. But it has apparently become the best-selling graphics card on Newegg (opens in new tab). Meanwhile, the flagship GeForce RTX 4090 currently sits in fourth place. If this is correct, this does not bode well for a real price reduction for the overpriced graphics card. My best bet... $1099 for the 4080 at best. Can't see Nvidia will go down to 7900XTX MSRP or $999. ------------------------------------------------------------- Also AMD tried do the same (price) trickery as nvidia. Offer a brand new graphics card that should never have seen the light. Nvidia had to remove the 12GB 4080 from their model line-up... AMD should have done the same. Or at least changed MSRP before release. AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Review Is This GPU Dead on Arrival at $900? What we have learned: In our opinion, there's no reason to buy the Radeon RX 7900 XT, you'd always just spend $100 extra to get the faster 7900 XTX. For the XT model to make sense it needs to cost $200 less than the XTX.
  7. You think they will make 4090 with an higher TGP? I don't think so. Current flagship the 3080Ti share same 175 Watt TGP as the 3080 mobile graphics. Why would they do it different for 40xx series laptop graphics?
  8. Yep, their policy is in small fat black print in the bootom of the KB article. Not sure I have seen nvidia offer the same. But nvidia don't have or offer own OC software. And then we have the AIC partners who make own rules/own OC software. A huge mess. Customize GPU Performance Tuning with AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition AMD.com They can and will moderate any scores if they see they are too good. Maybe they think newbies or the normy benchers can't have the best binned HW (only elite and top benchers can have that).
  9. Take it as rumours. And the article below was written before the Radeon 7900 series was tested during launch. Maybe this card below was the reason nvidia pumped up the cooling and pushed out 4090 in the shape it has (up to 600W TGP). With no pressure from AMD we would see 4090 cards with lesser thermal headroom (cheaper cooling) and hence lower TGP power for the OC power slider. Probably same as for 3090. And It looks like the Radeon cards have bigger OC headroom than nvidia 4000 series cards. Nvidia pumped up higher boost clocks as default (so less OC headroom). Revised Navi 31-based RX 7990 XTX, RX 7950 XTX, and RX 7950 XT with up to 3.6 GHz clock speeds and 3D V-Cache could be in the works https://www.notebookcheck.net/Revised-Navi-31-based-RX-7990-XTX-RX-7950-XTX-and-RX-7950-XT-with-up-to-3-6-GHz-clock-speeds-and-3D-V-Cache-could-be-in-the-works.671239.0.html I mean the graphics cards should be tested as they are setup in NCP. In the old days we had special rules for those that come in between top 20. The mod team inspected these results more carefully. But when newbies with better binned HW steal the places from the top benchers, something had to be done. Even today they ask for more proof than the rules say if you post an fantastic score in Global benchmarks. And they'll can ask for more proof if they see something is weird or the scores is very good. Sometimes they demand videos of the bench. In worst case you need to redo the bench even if the former results was correct. The fun part... The thread starter (nr1 bencher) for the "cheat graphics problems thread" posted benchmarks with ECC disabled. And that, days after he+ the mod team by own hands pushed out the new rules and said you risk be banned if you don't remove your old scores within one week yourself.
  10. I did a clean install of latest Nvidia driver with NVCleanstall after cleaning up with DDU. I see ECC support in NCP is enabled by default now. I mean this was disabled in older drivers by default. Can other confirm this? If so, I wonder why Nvidia changed default settings for ECC to enabled. Thanks. And UL/Futuremark released a new System info. I wonder if this one will have a drawback after all the talk with Hwbot. Not the first time Futuremark screw up own software,
  11. All we have left is buggy software that we are forced to use.... And I wonder what software they will add in to be able to post 3Dmark benchmarks that is already verfied by UL/Futuremark as Valid. A very few top benchers post very buggy benchmarks... Then put all in the same cheaters box beacuse of the very few.
  12. LOOL. Nvidia downgrade the amount vram from 16GB (3080) down to 12GB for 4080 Mobile graphics cards. New comes always with nice improvements, LOOOL https://videocardz.com/newz/next-gen-hp-omen-17-gaming-laptop-to-feature-geforce-rtx-4090-16gb-laptop-gpu They lure in the 4090 mobile (scam edition) into the Jokebook lineup to increase profits.
  13. Maybe a special Radeon Edition is what you should buy? And you get some nice extra (whim-wham) that people are willing to pay for. And they will! But you need to source it up beforehand or have the right contacts. But don't expect golden samples as the Elite benchers always get for free. "The special edition comes with some interesting bundle, such as a PowerColor Hellhound coin. The reviewer is comparing it to AMD 50th Anniversary coin featuring Zen2 CPU die." https://videocardz.com/newz/powercolor-preparing-rx-7900-xtx-hellhound-special-edition Hellhound=Castrated (Dual 8 pin instead for tripple connector). Maybe they should have brand it instead "Castrated Hellhound"? Unleash The Castrated Gaming Power Azor or some salesmen can't be trusted.
  14. Sorry the double post. The previous post had so much info, so.... LOOL. Nvidia downgrade amount vram from 16GB down to 12GB for xx80 Mobile graphics cards. New is always better, LOOOL https://videocardz.com/newz/next-gen-hp-omen-17-gaming-laptop-to-feature-geforce-rtx-4090-16gb-laptop-gpu This is the proper way to increase the profits. Maybe the next will be a 4090 Ti mobile built on same cut down silicon and same retarded TGP as the 4090 scam version.
  15. Intel graphics won't be a option in the nearest future... Because they follow AMD... Focus is "lower power" and or performance-per-watt.. Not the highest possible performance. We can clearly see he comes from AMDs Radeon Technologies Group. Peformance will always come second or last. Yep, AMD seems to struggle take out max performance in the beginning for their cards. Intel seems to run the same way. And Nvidia can continue as they do. Deliver performance for premium. Intel’s Raja Koduri Says His Focus Is 225 Watt GPUs With One Power Connector Did you check out our review of the new RDNA-3-based Radeons yet? Those GPUs are extremely high-powered in every sense, and that means that they're out of reach for the majority of the market. Intel's Raja Koduri apparently intends to target exactly that meaty middle, as he recently told a group of Indian tech.... Intel apparently won't be taking that track. Koduri says that his focus is "lower power" and complained that the high-end has "no limit right now." He has a point, and admits that halo SKUs are good for marketing, but then goes on to say that his priority is "getting that core audience, with one power connector. And that can get you up to 200-225W." Edit. Whats wrong with Radeon 7000 series backplate? You can fry egg on it. And the cards don't evn come with the double-sided GDDR6X memory as etch for 3090. Cheapo thin metal or low quality pads? And custom backplates for Radeon 7000 series will be big industri... PowerColor to sell custom backplates for Radeon RX 7900 Red Devil GPUs, new design revealed https://videocardz.com/newz/powercolor-to-sell-custom-backplates-for-radeon-rx-7900-red-devil-gpus-new-design-revealed With the Norwegian tax and shipping I will see the price reach minimum $4500. And this isnt even their higher tier card. Maybe +5500$ then?
  16. I know. But not the real deal from Galax. And I think the KFA2 come with castrated board power. Galax probably bin their chips pretty hard. The best chips will go to the "Galax" branding. Not that this is a bad card. Probably one of the better out there. You would need it here home🙂 And I have 4 wheel drive as well. A few spot on.... AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT review: Move over, RTX 4080 Bottom line? They may not unseat the RTX 4090 as the towering raw performance champion, especially if you’re interested in ray tracing, but unlike Nvidia’s price-jacked yet performance-lacking RTX 4080, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX offers stunning value over its predecessor for the same price as before. The 7900 XT, on the other hand, delivers worse value than the flagship and no doubt would’ve been called the 7800 XT (and sold for significantly less) if Nvidia hadn’t already pushed pricing to insane levels with the RTX 4080. Neither the 4080 nor the 7900 XT are particularly appealing at these prices. AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT Review: Shooting for the Top https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-radeon-rx-7900-xtx-and-xt-review-shooting-for-the-top Radeon RX 7900 XTX plagued by strange bugs, AMD to work on driver improvements over the holidays Reports from sources close to Moore's Law Is Dead suggest that AMD's driver team has been tasked with working on quick fixes for some of the bugs plaguing the 7900 XTX models. Hopefully the new drivers can fix the power draw issues and maybe even improve the underwhelming performance a little. Pay well above MSRP for this is madness. Even the MSRP is wrong priced. Edit. Amd and Frank Azor praised the new Radeon cards for its very high energy efficiency. They didn't want go the Nvidia route beacuse they targeted energy efficiency over higher performance. Have he been in the lab and checked? Or is it just the usual junk talk coming from the former Dell Alienware salesmans mouth? I can't see F. Azor have changed much since he left Dell and Alienware for AMD. Nothing have changed. Same old lies from the old horses mouth.. AMD has had a long history of drawing a lot of power in these power states, so I'm not 100% convinced this really is so easy to fix. I also find it hard to imagine that nobody at AMD tests multi-monitor power draw, so in some meeting somewhere, someone decided "we will release it like that." Techpowerup.com As long Nvidia continue price their 4080 very high, the AMD cards will also have a bit of the cake. Those two follow each other. Prices will always be higher at launch. Maybe see what happens after New Year when people have spent all their money for Christmas.
  17. Thanks bro John. Galax is excluded. We have never seen this brand here home. Even a big store as Caseking in Germany (de8auers shop) don't offer this card. The same can I say for the FE here home. Nothing there either. But lot Zotac (the boat) and gainward. As well Palit and Suprim X Liquid. The store I bought my MSI card had 60 of the X Liquid on Friday. + a few other models. All is sold out now. But you can stil grab loads of 4080, LOOL Yep, when I finally get a new card (mamy years since I bought brand new)... And of course it had to be a mess with new tech as ECC and hwbot. Isn't it typical? I have a lot more fun benching the old. No fuss. And the mods can't remove legit scores. Some of topic. England enjoy the small TROLL. Not the big one as here home. Yep, my place is right outside Trondheim city. British extreme weather has been named the "Troll of Trondheim" A troll from Trondheim makes the British grind their teeth. The snowy weather also creates challenges at the airport near London https://www.nrk.no/trondelag/troll-of-trondheim_-ekstremvaer-i-storbritannia-kalles-troll-from-trondheim-eller-troll-of-trondheim-1.16215866 This is the real Troll. I was just out with the car. Minus 25C today. And this weather will be here at least one week more. I hate it. Not good for my broken lungs. And no sun on the days neither will help on the mood/health. The days forwards to Christmas holidays consist mostly of the dreaded northern darkness and cold. Not a nice place to be here right now. The latest weather forecast says it will be freezing cold on Christmas Eve/Christmas holidays here home around Trondheim. Yep, I can't see much of the climate change people talk a lot about. At least not here home. So, please send me some warning sun from the other side of the big Atlantic ocean.
  18. I will do my due dilligence. But have you a few options that could be ok? I know KFA2 4090 is made by Galax. But not if Galax will let it get the love. I think this models have an capped TDP. But previous models was ok. I wonder what Hwbot will do with the cheater series cards scores. We have now 4080 and 4090. Sonn will Nvidia push out the other models. And what with AMDs new cards? I wonder what flaws they will provide for benchmarks. But it amusing that U/L Futuremark allow ECC for benches while the bot ban it. I would never think this could ever happen. Edit. Improved Superposition 8K Optimized score🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5142289_papusan_unigine_superposition___8k_optimized_geforce_rtx_4090_15938_points?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5142304_papusan_3dmark_vantage___extreme_geforce_rtx_4090_146589_marks?recalculate=true
  19. I don't. I have the 980 Ti. More like a boat light, LOOL. Maybe I should swap in the X Liquid into a new White "Trash" boat? We'll see if they have it and there is no problem return the MSI card. A damn nice looking card. And I hope my sons can help me back into gaming. What you think is the best option for 4090? For me its more important that I can easly swap out cards. And I don't bench same card again and again. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Slightly better score. Now 13th in 8K Optimized for 4090... Up from 15410 to 15811. https://hwbot.org/submission/5142144_papusan_unigine_superposition___8k_optimized_geforce_rtx_4090_15811_points?recalculate=true Edit. Improved also the score for 1080P Extreme. From 12th to 8th for 4090 🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5142154_papusan_unigine_superposition___1080p_xtreme_geforce_rtx_4090_25975_points?recalculate=true A bit more difficult if you don't use LN2😎 Not everyday I see Splave second or last, LOOL I mean Intel should let all MB manufacurers get the needed tools. I'm not eeven sure Asus own engineers have come up with the solution. Maybe Asus is big enough to ask for it? I have the 980 Ti Amp Extreme from Zotac. A decent card with good bin quality. Equal good quality as Evga's top tier Kingpin (they offered 3 different bin quality). So this isn't something new. The only problem with the olde Zotac cards is the custom board. Almost imposible find a water block that fits. Was also this when the card was released. Here home we haven't many options. Kingpin and Galax is a no go hee home (Get Galax card is impossible to buy several places in the world). So my son said many of the Zotac cards was quite good.
  20. If I run them slower they lose it's value, but my ears will suffer. And that means I will be deaf long before the Christmas Eve bells ring in🤪 Try beat the 104.8 db records, brothers. See how long you will accept the awful noise at your pc desk. Even headphones isn't enough for this. A couple of benchmarks run is already too much before you go right on the wall, LOOL Imagine a few more of these fans in the 1000D... And I'm sure none of the new modern white fancy overpriced (Apple) headphones would help much. I don't think my ears can handle more benchmarks today. But reached 83th on the bot Papusan @ HWBOT And 2nd in the Enthusiasts league🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5142135_papusan_unigine_superposition___8k_optimized_geforce_rtx_4090_15410_points
  21. Sorry all. My first video on youtube and I forgot allow comments. Yeep, I'm newbie, LOOL It's open now for those of you that want to add a comment on the screemy fan. I like form over function. Have always done. But with all the noise around 90db I expect to get mooore cooling performance from it😁 And the sound is awful. Probably one of the worst I have heard. And it come for cheap. Always a reason for that.
  22. AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT Review: Shooting for the Top RDNA 3 dons a halo for its coming out party tomshardware.com From the article from Tomshardware... That's what we used to see: a big jump in price for the final, relatively small performance increase. Both Nvidia and now AMD have apparently ditched that approach this generation. We can't help but think the past two years of GPU shortages has led some of the bean counters into thinking graphics cards should cost more. Street prices are likely to be over $1,000 for most of the 7900 series custom AIB designs, unless the supply is so good that it outstrips demand.
  23. Nvidia could go back to Titan branding and charge 2500$. They won't touch the 4090 price point from what I can see with the release from AMD. And they can push out a 4080Ti to compete with an possible 7950XTX cards from AMD. These new cards from AMD should never been have been released at $899 and $999. They should have been $699 and $799 cards. This is awful news for gamers. AMD just go the same route as Nvidia and push xx80 SKU's nearer 1000$. Which is a price increase of at least 25%. And I don't count in Nvidia's greed with 70% price hike. People should accept going up from $699 to $799. That's fine. But not this what we now see.
  24. Imagine 36 of them at full speed for benching😁 Yes, these fans are really noisy with a terrible screeching sound. As far away in quality and sound level as you can get vs. 3000rpm Noctua IPC and EK-Furious Vardar EVO 120 (3000rpm). They move a lot of air but think they are weaker vs mentioned if I set them to 3000 rpm. Each fan draws around 10w. So with a 1000D chassis that would mean 36 fans and 360w, LOOL And then imagine the sound level with 36 of them screeching at 4000 rpm https://hwbot.org/submission/5141617_papusan_3dmark2001_se_geforce_rtx_4090_207178_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5141547_papusan_3dmark03_geforce_rtx_4090_337437_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5141615_papusan_unigine_superposition___1080p_xtreme_geforce_rtx_4090_24764_points https://hwbot.org/submission/5141450_papusan_3dmark___time_spy_extreme_geforce_rtx_4090_19708_marks Finally under 100th on hwbot 🙂 Papusan @ HWBOT The only good with this, is more options to the people. And this may help Nvidia to change their awful prices for mid high end. And $1000 is even all too much. But this AMD launch won't speed up the release of 4090 Ti. Amd just released a 1000$ card that should cost 699-799$ USD.
  25. Here one more video brother Electro. My very first video on YouTube🤪 And this is not a video about shoes but a Hell lot noise. See my reply below and you can connect the dots😎 Please sub on my channel and click on the like button, LOOL I'm sure I can do +90db. And I still hear the awful sound in my head even after the pc is turned of You still want them bro @tps3443? Maybe buy18 of them. They are damn cheap, but awful sound and most likly not the best cooling I have seen. Now you are warned. The fan from HELL. This 4000 rpm server fan is loud. But not so so it is more powerful than my Noctua 3000 and 3000 rpm EK-Vardar Furious.
