Hi. I mean it was 81.8% Asic quality. I mean the bin is Ok. Not the upper top and not in the lower/middle end. I can see this from the info from EVGA for 980 Ti https://eu.evga.com/articles/00944/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-980-Ti-KINGPIN/ @Mr. Fox As you can se from the link above... You'll get variable bin also today for newer k|ngp|in cards (but all at same price nowadays). Bro @johnksss confirmed also this with his new better 3090 card after his leak accident. There is no guarantee you'll get the upper bin even if you buy EVGA's most expensive cards. You need to have the right contacts for that. The graphics card come in good shape (the whole package). The seller even sent with his original invoice of the card. I enjoy old equal as new. I don't need the newest and greatest every year. Your graphics score is near the top on the 3Dmark leaderboard for the card. Nice 🙂 Finally we see more correct priced cards (used and new). Hope it will last. Deskop sales dropped over 10% so the HW manufacturers have to be careful if they will try maxing out profits. Too high prices for midrange/upper level will lower the interest to buy new. People will instead buy cheaper and this will in the end hit the HW manufacturers right where it feeels best. No miners (they bought 35% of all cards). Nvidia can't push that loss on new parts. -

Got the new "old" baby. All well. With documentation, parts and paqckage in good shape. All have a nice weekend. Yesterday was the 27th wedding anniversary for me and my lovely wife. And we finally got good weather here home, and exactly the same nice weather as our wedding day in 1995. About time for posting new pict of my old used crocks to my friend @electrosoft 😆 Yep, I know you love my many pictures, LOOL https://hwbot.org/submission/5051031_papusan_3dmark_vantage___performance_geforce_gtx_980_ti_97321_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5050997_papusan_3dmark___cloud_gate_geforce_gtx_980_ti_78720_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5050959_papusan_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_980_ti_75734_marks https://hwbot.org/submission/5050970_papusan_3dmark05_geforce_gtx_980_ti_99333_marks -

Yep, that's another way do it. And many is stuck with a never booting OS to desktop if they download and installed directly from M$ servers. But I hate download patches and install with network. Acceptable doesn't mean a anything if the new is worse than the old 🙂 New doesn't always mean better. Acceptable is watered down word. Can mean trash if you know what I mean. Windows as OS going the wrong way!

Put the blame on Lenovo. They haven't sent the HW id to Nvidia so they can add it into their drivers. Try an INF mod. You find guides how to do in on the internet. Edit. Try with NVCleanstall. How to mod and sign NVIDIA drivers with TPU NVCleanstall

I even avoid old AMD cards. And I follow same pattern for new cards🙂 I was very close to grab a 780 Lightning card in a complete pc for a very good price. Not everyday we see such cards here home. Oh'well can't have good luck every time. I can just keep on with the old before my new Zotac cards come to papa. I made a custom vbios that worked better than the stock firmware for the GTX 670. I'm not the big firmware modder but at least it worked out well for a few benchmarks. I got near 18000 more points in Aquamark🙂 Not so bad with an air cooled card. 1th and 2nd place is out of reach due they use LN2 but 3rd is better than 4th or 5th. I guess everything is better than last, LOOL https://hwbot.org/submission/5046259_papusan_aquamark_geforce_gtx_670_543812_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5046233_papusan_3dmark___cloud_gate_geforce_gtx_670_47244_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5046240_papusan_3dmark11___entry_geforce_gtx_670_19335_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5046231_papusan_3dmark11___performance_geforce_gtx_670_12272_marks?recalculate=true -

AMD continue stealing features Nvidia have used for their graphics cards. Jep, AMD eat more and more features from Nvidia's graphics features portfolio they have been alone with. What remains now is the performance crown/or performance vs dollars for Nvidia. This is all they will have left to try keep up their very high market shares for graphics cards. So not so sure Nvidia will give up maximum profits/keep up their high market shares. All Nvidia can do forwards now is going for the performance crown. Intel will go for the budget crown, AMD for the "in middle" and Nvidia is now forced to take the perfomance crown. If not they will lose hard in this battle. AMD NOISE SUPPRESSION Nvidia RTX Voice should have competition AMD briefly posted a video on its official YouTube channel promising a new audio feature for Adrenaline. And next gen AMD GPUs will have 'enhanced ray tracing'. Nvidia need to deliver with 4000 series cards or the comingt two years forwards will be as a black mondey/nightmare for their greedy shareholders. Maybe it's time for Jensen to retire or swap job? Not so sure it will be fun sit on top forwards to please Nvidia's shareholders🙃 -

Yep, and former AMD engineer who jumped on Intel to be their GPU boss have failed total. And he is the specialist engineer on software for graphics cards. Can see this on how the drivers works 🙂 Can't see this mess is anything better than their old fashion iGPU's. I just can't understand why Intel want drag their reputation down the drain. This gen new graphics cards should have never ever been released this year (probably never). But I expect greed and looking for more profits is their main motivator for pushing out this Junk.... Intel: "Over 500 watts not on the map with Arc" Graphics card yesterday 19:31 Linus Tech Tips is visited by Intel representatives and the company's sharpest graphics card Arc A770, which is a central part of the long graphics card conversation. Intel values efficiency above maximum performance. Overclocking and unlocked power budget must, however, be functions that come with Arc, LOOOL. Why not follow same pathern as they do for their power hogs of processors? Yep, Intel will try go for budget/ low end for mainstream gamers. There is nothing Nvidia and AMD should be afraid of from this mess of a grapics card collection forwards. What a downturn regarding increased competition in the graphics cards market. -
Some will never learn @Ashtrix @Ashtrix I think over 90% of the people out there think newer always has to be better. Windows 11 almost ruined my laptop. These fixes (sort of) helped pcworld.com Things were still better with Windows 10, though Since upgrading to Windows 11, my laptop just hasn’t been the same.

My 2080 Ti (not the best OC version) compete within top 4 for 3070 cards in TSE graphics leaderboard. So I don't think coming RTX 4070 will fall behind the 3080. And then we have Nvidia pumping up the TDP for 4000 series cards to try compete with AMD. We'll see. But my best guess... More closer to 3080 Ti, if it not beat it 🙂 -

And 4070 should be around equal performance as 3090 Ti. Remember AMD will be able to compete more with RT (features) this time. All Nvidia have left is to try push the performance as high they can. Hence they also is forced to lift the TDP for all new cards. The main losers will be the laptop Jockey's. God have mercy with those shelling out loads of cash on castrated new gaming books. With the new move from Microsoft regarding Hardware requirements for the Win 11 disaster I think Microsoft now will use the 3 year cycle for each new OS to kick out more processors from next Win versions. A very nice way to help themself (they create own turdbooks) and it's partners to force new HW upgrades down our necks. They couldn't do that so easy with Win 10 who will run almost 10 years since release in 2015. I'm sure their HW partners also have a finger into this. Run Win as a services ain't profitable enough for them or their partners. Hence this new move. Yep, from worse to even more worse. And the small feature updates forwards within the 3 year cycle will come when you didn't expect it. A ticking bomb for those that update regularly without seeing what they'll get..
