You mean you rented a car? I expect you know you don't fully own it😀 You Don’t Really Ever Own an EV Buying an electric vehicle is a lot like buying a subscription to a car. Almost no one can work on them except the manufacturer, features get locked behind in-app purchases or software updates, and those features can get disabled at the flip of a switch. If carmakers can dictate how you use your car, do you really even own it? These days cars are like a smartphone or computer, constantly getting software and security updates, new features, and occasionally they’ll even lose features. Furthermore, those fancy features aren’t available to everyone who “buys” the car. Instead, you’ll have to buy in-app purchases to unlock those features. Yep, todays modern cars is filled up with computers. Not so unlike real computers. Hence the post fits in here, HaHa🙃 All, have a nice weekend. -
One more reason to avoid Win Defender... Some users have noticed Windows Defender Antivirus has started to (falsely) flag MajorGeeks Windows Tweaks. Yep, Microsoft don't want that you try making their OS better/more useful/less tacky. Rufus 3.18 bypasses Windows 11 TPM restrictions for in-place upgrade, fixes ISO to ESP bug Rufus 3.18 beta version fixes an ISO to ESP issue. But more importantly, the version brings the "Extended" option that will now help bypass Windows 11 requirements for in-place upgrades too.

Weird PCH temp increase with more drives when not all are in use. What if you run an ATTO Disk Benchmark ? This ssd bench is known to tax the ssd's. https://hwbot.org/submission/4943592_papusan_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_760_(256bit)_58998_marks?recalculate=true -

Thanks bro ryan 🙂 The good part is at the end of the video. About what bin quality people should expect for the K chips a few weeks before the KS see the lights 🙂 And not the only Intel do for newer chips.... Intel Axes Alder Lake's AVX-512 Support, Now Fuses It Off in Silicon Intel would like you to step up to its more expensive Xeon chips if you want AVX-512 support with its newer architectures. Meanwhile, AMD is rumored to bring support for AVX-512 to its Zen 4 chips, which is an odd twist if Intel continues to not support the instructions on its consumer hardware. https://hwbot.org/submission/4941706_papusan_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_760_(256bit)_58709_marks -
I hope you know why Microsoft don’t force optional updates on systems once they are released. Maybe because they know new patches has the bad habit breaks some systems? Don’t put all the blame for screwed up systems on the users.

Max-Q tech should never ever have seen the light. If the OEM have to create thin and light laptop design, then use a cheaper and less powerful GPU. None of the mobile GPU's should have been in Max-Q design. Max-Q is here only to milk out more money out from your wallet. The buyers will always be the loosers. “It’s Max-Q all over again” – More cores do not always mean more performance videocardz.com This story repeats itself with almost every launch of the NVIDIA laptop GPU. Some power-limited GeForce mobile GPUs are not able to compete with lower-tier SKUs that are not power restricted. This is confirmed by some initial tests performed by Notebookcheck feature MSI Stealth GS66 gaming laptop with GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 105W GPU. That’s significantly less power than the Vector GP66 model from the same company featuring 150W graphics. However, as discovered, the RTX 3070 Ti with 105W TGP is also slower than RTX 3070 150W. 2. Misleading specifications and branding All of the major CPU and GPU manufacturers have done this to some degree. Nvidia, after aligning its desktop and mobile parts with the release of the 1000-series GPUs, has gone back to its old ways with the release of the GeForce RTX 3000-series GPUs, where the desktop and mobile parts have different core counts entirely, resulting in vast performance differences. With the likes of the GeForce GTX 1000 and RTX 2000 families, the biggest differences between desktop and mobile GPUs were the clock speed and thermal envelope.

Windows 11 KB5010414 accidentally hides Start Menu, Microsoft responds windowslatest.com | Feb 28, 2022 Although the Start Menu is not flexible in Windows 11, it still allows users to quickly access the installed apps. The Start menu isn’t broken in Windows 11 KB5010414 update, but users have reported that the menu automatically hides when they hover over icons pinned to the taskbar. According to Microsoft officials, this is not a ‘bug’. In fact, it is a design feature. Starting with KB5010414, Windows 11’s widgets board is now pinned to the left side of the taskbar and it can be launched when you hover over the icon. This seems to be causing a conflict where Start opens and then closes immediately. Not so sure new features is so much better than their self introduced bugs @Mr. Fox @Ashtrix 😀 Windows 11 KB5010414 breaks the Start menu It seems the new Windows 11 update isn’t just messing with the Stat menu. Some users have also been experiencing issues with the taskbar where it will either not load or appear blank/blank.

Best recover bro Fox. I hope the Sunday will be a much better day 🙂 I'm not so happy in the dark Rog Theme. My old eyes struggle see everything. Dark theme doesn't fit into all I use. I love everything in black but dark Grey color for a few apps with small text would have been better for me. I wonder how it will be in 1440P screen if I can find one. Still looking after a good deal for a new screen. I was too laite or the one I wanted. So I'll see what pop up. https://hwbot.org/submission/4940193_papusan_aida64___memory_read_ddr5_sdram_110150_points?recalculate=true -

Nvidia have serious problems with their arc on the smaller N5 Fabrication Node if they need ++650W for the their high end 4000 series cards. Or they know that AMD or even (Intel) will come up with Gpu's that need that type of power to try take their gaming crown. But this doesn't fits the different governments regulations for max power consumption for newer products. Nvidia sell gaming products to more places than U.S. And then you have the tree huggers in California state governments that always go in front for more energy efficient products. They will force changes with their newer ending new regulations.. -
Microsoft is more keen to make more new useless tacky features and create new touch friendly OS than offer a reliable OS with functions you can trust. But why spend the money on that? Not fun make a reliable OS as making/re-design new Emoji's. Microsoft Confirms Windows Wiping Tool Leaves User Data on Disk (Updated) tomshardware.com A big security flaw for those wishing to clean a PC to pass it on. Update 2/25/2022 6:57 PDT: Microsoft has now confirmed data persistence issues after a wipe with Windows 10 and Windows 11 in an official post. Additional details have been added to the bottom of this story. Hi Vasu. Haven't had time for that. I will put up a thread later when I have the time. Regarding windows OS in the whole... Results from the new ssd. Can I feel a huge uplift in performance.... Nope 🙂 The only advantage I can see from this is more storage than before. https://hwbot.org/submission/4938551_papusan_as_ssd2.0_nvme_10197_marks COMPUTERBASE-STORAGE SSD cache problem: Despite flushing, there is a risk of data loss in the event of a power failure https://www.computerbase.de/2022-02/ssd-cache-problem-trotz-flush-droht-datenverlust-bei-stromausfall/ The Hynix Gold got an thumbs up in reviews. Same also for the Rocket drive. Yep, at the cost of higher power consumption. And once again we will see bigger leaps in performance for desktops over gaming laptops that being castrated more and more for each new gen. The thin and light trend come at a cost. The hybrid mess continue. Win 12 if it comes will be Win 11 but in new clothes. Windows 11 Build 22563 Brings Emoji 14.0 & Tablet-Optimized Taskbar (Available for ARM64 Too) I'm sure people will enjoy next round of fantastic features as below. I wonder how long it will take before Microsoft make an new gen Win 10 phones. If win 10 was the last OS, we would get Win 11/12 shell and functionality but with Win 10 as number version. Not so sure that would be better for those of us that prefer Win 10 over the latest/coming touch friendly disaster branded Win 11/12. This is something to think about. I would hate that Win 10 was the last OS from Redmond. This means you wouldn't have Win 10 until EOL date in 2025. All you'll get forwards is OS intended for Microsoft products... NEW BUILD! Best of luck brother. Regarding the new modern +-5000 speed rated ssd's. You won't feel a difference vs previous gen in ordinary usage. Only special cases and maybe for games. Even an old fashion 2.5" sata ssd works very well in the OS envionment. But I tend to buy todays tech, not yesterdays. New doesn't always mean better. This apply most of things. For the Asus boys and girls. It seems not only Dell push trash firmware updates. Will see what will come. But not very reliable/trustworthy f4rom what I can read here... Z690E and 1103 BIOS -

Congrats my friend. and I hope the bad luck finally turn on to the better. Everything won't last forever. And good luck will come back. Got a new HW for my machine (OS disk). I always stick to Samsung. Have always done that. Not that the new Pro disks is much better than other similar disks... I still jump on it. And the other brands ssd's is near in price point (Prices is near 50% above what you'll pay in U.S), so..... Samsung it will be 🙂 Here is new pict of my crocks bro @electrosoft 🙂 -
