  1. Thanks bro Fox. Yep, I have waited long time for new cards. I usually is happy with older cards. Not a gamer but sometimes it is nice to have something newer. I am a moderate man when it comes to spending money. I retired early from my job due to poor health, so. I'm happy with used things. Nothing of it need to be new. The Tax hell here is real. Read this and I think you'll feel very bad. I do. I'm a cigar smoker and the Norwegain Government will take away my chance to buy cigars/smoke at half price in Sveden. They will cut down what I can take with me over the border.... Norwegian Special. Still waiting for new tobacco rules: - Preparing for and running out In short... The tobacco quota in the state budget The proposal in the state budget is to halve the tobacco quota from 250 grams to 125 grams, and cigarettes from 200 to 100. While today, for example, you can buy 15 boxes of snuff (16 grams each), the Støre government's bill means that from next year it will only be allowed to take seven and a half boxes with you. The rules will not apply to anyone other than Norwegians living in Norway. Tourists will still be able to bring the current quota – 200 cigarettes or 250 grams of tobacco – into the country. And Norway is flooded with money, gas ad oil. But the people have hard time live here. The government hate us. Thanks. There is only a few model I wanted. Strix and MSI Suprime X with or with out Liquid. And the Suprim is cheaper than Asus Strix. Asus is disgusting! And the boat card (Zotac) The trash card @johnksss😀 Not my wording. Is 8% more expensive than MSI Suprim X Liquid. So MSI it become. I have had hands on MSI cards before... Not really my brand. Only The LIghtning cards was of interest from this brand. I hate brutal winters. We have it every damn year here home.... Wind, snow, cold, rain, and hail storms that come one after the other. Ice cold, then snow then rain. Or opposite way. This from November and into middle May. + the dreaded dark here North last many moths. Rest of the year... Green winter. Not great place living for my broken health.
  2. We'll see how it pans out. But from my understanding.... I don't need to return the fans I got. This maybe will be perfect. I can use them on my coming toy... See below As picture and masurements above. Single pump connected... 270-275l/h or 4.5l/min. I have now added the second pump... 391.8l/hr or 6.53l/min. More as a backup solution for the first pump. Loop.... Pump and resevoar-WB-pump-Rad. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Old... was tempted by new and modern... Me ordering MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X. I hate you Nvidia for your disgusting prices. But I couldn't resist. But stilll. This is spot on how I feel I need have something to play with in the days. Because living in a Snow-Hell and the dreaded dark here north destroy my days and my health. Me walking in the white wonderland with the small Thief. Sorry I flloding the forume with pictures bro @Reciever @Hiew 😀
  3. Intel Arc GPUs Get 1.8X Higher DirectX 9 Performance From New GPU Driver tomshardware.com | Today Intel has made significant progress with DirectX 9 performance on its Arc Alchemist graphics cards. The latest 31.0.101.3959 driver(opens in new tab) brings up to 1.8X higher average FPS and up to 2.3X improved 99th percentile FPS on the Arc A770, one of the best graphics cards on the market.
  4. Yep, Have been like this near one week now. Back shortly, LOOL From the comment section... You will always produce garbage if you don't listening on the consumers. If they did it would increase costs. So better continue the same way as before. Some is fine with garbage. Hence no need for a change. Alienware Aurora R15 offered with 13th generation Intel Core and GeForce RTX 4090 By Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/06/2022 09:45 AM | 6 comment(s) ] Dell has introduced the New Alienware Aurora R15 gaming PC, which is compatible with the 13th generation Intel Core processor and GeForce RTX 4090. CPU performance has increased by up to 68% by supporting the 13th generation Intel Core processors. The CPU temperature is stated to be 5 degrees Celsius lower by supporting a 240mm radiator for cooling. Furthermore, a 12-phase power circuit with a heat sink and a new enclosure with improved ventilation improve stability. Less castrated vs previous gen chassis and cooling means Dell can eak out a bit higher performance numbers than expected for 13th gen Cpu. Isn't that incredible?😇
  5. When tripple puke ain't enough. This will be $5000 down the drain toilet. But not from me. Poor those soules that will jump on this.
  6. We have had big performance jumps before on xx80 Skus. But not +70% price increase. Mostly 10-15% up from previous gen or even flat. 4080 is a bad value. Very bad value. Take a look on pricing for xx80 and even older x80. If people think a big performance uplift can defend this scalping maybe they then deserve it. For the records. Also 4090 is bad value. All too expensive.
  7. Could be Nvidia will get some help from AMD. Ryzen Zen3 5000 series platform had problems near two years. And if this is correc, then this will sure help Nvidia sell overpriced cards for Christmas season. Another source wrote me about specific driver problems, where memory leaks are said to have occurred, which could affect performance and lead to freezes, which are also said to have caused delays. Starting difficulties with AMD's Radeon RX 7900XTX and 7900XT? Board partners seem to be having issues and delays December 6, 2022 While AMD has already shown the reference cards of the Radeon RX 7900XT(X) several times and has also confirmed the launch on December 13th, 2022, you may have to put a question mark behind the models and quantities actually available on this day
  8. Even scalpers don't want the GeForce RTX 4080 pcworld.com Scalpers can't sell them, retailers don't want them back, and Nvidia may be forced into an early price cut for the GeForce RTX 4080. The ugly prices got a face😀 Edit. LOOL
  9. I will conclude when I hear both fans (Alphacool vs Noctua). But from the correct one from mentioned brand. Not these ugly fans with Bling bling cables. These server fans have different shapes on the blades. And I know how server fans sounds as😀 If I didn't bother with design, shape and sound I would go with Delta fans. More powerful and a lot more noisy. + a lot more expensive. But Alphacool and Aquatuning have to fix up their own disgusting mess. I don't accept getting parts I have never asked for. Yep, I'm older and the eyes ain't as it was in the early years.... But I'm not blind! Not at all. Regarding how correct the air flow and static pressure specs is for these Alphacool fans... None know. It's well known that such type specs is overblown for cheaper models. Edit. You can get 3.7 of the Alpahcool 120mm fans for one Noctua NF-F12 industrial PPC-3000. I posted about it two weeks ago... But be sure you get the one you want. Not the one with bling bling cables, LOOL
  10. Bro @Mr. Fox You remember I posted info about Alphacool's new cheap powerful fans? They come in 120 and 140mm + up to 4000 rpm. See Alphacools press release here. Check how the fans looks like in design and shape. https://www.techpowerup.com/301430/alphacool-unveils-core-120-pwm-and-core-140-pwm-series-case-fans I ordered these fans for the build to my middle son. I checked first Alphacool and then the web store Aquatuning who sell their products. I ordered from them. The 140mm fan is exactly what they advertisee in look, shape and design. All good. Then we have the 120mm fan. What I got looks more as a server fan. The Manufacturer no.: 24845 is verified correct for my 120mm fans and what the Manufacturer + shop offer. On the box with my fan it say Article no.: 24845. But what I got is something different. What I got is on left. A server fan but with the correct article nr. Fan on the right is the correct fan I expected to get. This is so damn disgusting. Even the EAN: 4250197248457 nr is correct stamped on the box I got but I didn't get what I ordered. Then compare the design vs server fans below. The fan I got have even an ugly colored cables. And the uvly colored cable is 30 cm. Not the 40 cm as advertised. This is not what they showed in the press release. See... Alphacool 120mm server fan. Stamped ES as well. Same design as the fan I got but with different label, and product numbers Now I'm very angry. Soon Christmas and the shipping is a problem before Christmas holidays. Edit. And the cable is 30 cm. Not the 40 cm as advertised in the press release. The quality control is a huge disaster.
  11. Put it this way. When scalpers struggling hard sell their 4080 cards, even Jensen should grasp reality that the prices for 4080 is all too high. Nvidia have nothing new to offer outside the 4090. People will rather buy new than 2 years old cards for sub $1000. And AMD can offer this if they is able to increase production of 7000 series cards. How many of the 4090 are nvidia able to throw out to keep up maximum profits? Christmas season is soon here. What do you think Nvidia will do if they can’t offer what the people want? Air and love?😀 What did you pay for this one vs the chips you sold?
  12. I think most of the chips with SP100 and higher will do this if the P-cores reach +SP110. This if they use adequate cooling. And better SP rated chips than the mentioned above will reach 300W if temps become too high. High temperatures will push the chips above the 300w target in CBR23. Then you have good binned chips that will use more wattage than average retail chips. Look at Der8auers video of Alder lake. Good binned chips doesn't always mean lower wattage at same clock speed.
  13. Five percent is five percent and better than nothing. And nvidia have never been so fast change prices due the exchange in valuta before. And here is more... Medio middle Desember. We'll see If nvidia have enough 4080 and too little of 4090 they need to make some changes. Whats the point flood retail with more of the 4080 cards if no-one buy them because of the awful disgusting prices? Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 could get a much-needed price cut soon
  14. The first small move from Nvidia? More to come? 20% lower and I’m sold on the 4090. This would be the same as the 25% added tax over U.S price point. Every 5% down is equal $100 here home. NVIDIA is lowering GeForce RTX 4090/4080 pricing in Europe by 5% Published: 5th Dec 2022,
  15. Gold from the old (GTX 670) https://hwbot.org/submission/5136692_papusan_3dmark2001_se_geforce_gtx_670_194901_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5136698_papusan_superpi___32m_core_i9_13900k_(8p)_3min_56sec_280ms?recalculate=true
  16. This is so Ugly it can be. Who thought AMD would help Nvidia sell their overpriced 4080 cards? Could be that the overpriced 4080 looks great on paper when we take into account of what the custom AMD cards will be priced at. Nvidia is smart... Maybe they know AMD don't have much cards in stock to push out. Just let the ugly prices be there and people who waited on AMD's offer will have jump on 4080 as this cards most likely will be in stock. Pre-orders for AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 7900 XTX & RX 7900 XT graphics cards have opened up in China and it looks like custom cards would be just as expensive as NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40 line. Custom AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX & RX 7900 XT Graphics Cards To Cost Up To $1600 US In China https://wccftech.com/custom-amd-radeon-rx-7900-xtx-rx-7900-xt-graphics-cards-to-cost-up-to-1600-usd-in-china/ All this supply problems with cheaper new models will also help Nvidia to keep up demands for their more expensive 4090. Everything will be sold out and at very high prices. I'm after a 4090, but it doesn't look promising for me for now.
  17. Nothing will be better. Only worse. None is so greedy as the poor filthy rich man. The more you have... The more you want. Have always been like this. People or governments... The act the same. Not all have class, bro Etern. This doesn't look as a good idea. The Nr1 will always be Nr1 regardless of league. But companies should stop bragg about highest performance if not all have same start point. But they want sales... Hence push Elite in front to sell own products that don't offer what is adverticed. But companies should stop bragg about highest performance if not all can have same start point. But they want sales... Hence they push the Elite in front to upsell own products. Aka, you won't be offered what they advertise/sell. And the Elite take advantage from this.
  18. The Norwegian government who is the greedy devil. They bought a huge Parcel/post sorting machine that all post/packages has to throught. If I send one package to a small city 100km away from me North over. The package will be sent to the main city Oslo in Southt and back Norht outside where I live and to the shipping adress. A few years ago we had Parcel/post sorting machine in every main city. From South to North. Norway is one of the biggest in oil/gas in the world. We don't lack money. But if you have a lot $$$$. Then you want more. They cut costs everywhere. They have even reduced post delivery to only 3 days a week. Packages or letters, doesn't matter. But, getting the Corsair PSU for $262 US Dollar included +25% tax is worth the wait. Edit. Yep the big power cable fits very thight in the PSU connector. I almost wish it was a bit more loose, LOOL
  19. I still haven't got the HX1500i. Everything of shipping here in Norway is a disaster. Get a package from outside Norway (still a Norwegian webshop who fix the tax) can take 3 weeks. But a loose Power cable ain't the end of the world. How it perform/long time reliability is what counts And I ordered a package from another city (500km) from where I live, can take up to 2 weeks from I order to I have it in my hands. And they send it one or two days after I ordered it. Imagine how long it would take from China. @Mr. Fox Elite/fab benchers have binned Cpu's, MB, ram and graphics cards. On top they get own custom firmware where they also have the signing key to tune Sbios/vBios further. They even get special threatments for PSUs as well. As you can se, we all compete on same level and in same play yard, LOOL So if you want to compete on same level, just forget it. You caan only do so much....
  20. I didn't konw you was that bad in math😀 Worth every dime brother😀 Maybe ask in the Corsair forum. Ask them if this is the quality standard to expect from their most expensive PSUs.
  21. You can find an AIO from EVGA or Arctic. They often pop up. This is the two brand I would go with. And of course the models with almost no bling bling. I have had both. And with damn good bench results. Many of the people with custom cooling struggled to come in front of an cheapo AIO in many benches, LOOL Great job brother🙂 And take the #3rd as well. Or all 5 top spots. https://hwbot.org/submission/5135921_papusan_aquamark_geforce_gtx_670_583679_marks?recalculate=true Close to 6.5GHz on water. 43rd GLOBAL RANK: SuperPi-1M🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5135920_papusan_superpi___1m_core_i9_13900k_(8p)_4sec_937ms?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5135917_papusan_superpi___32m_core_i9_13900k_(8p)_3min_57sec_17ms Edit. For you bro @electrosoft 🙂
  22. The new one offer more weak plastic and bling bling. See if you find previous model. Most likely you'll find it cheaper. A good AIIO. I use on the older desktop. A great choice. https://hwbot.org/submission/5135826_papusan_gpupi_for_cpu___100m_core_i9_13900k_(8p)_3sec_443ms?recalculate=true 56th GLOBAL 8X CPU RANK: CPU GPUPI-1B https://hwbot.org/submission/5135825_papusan_gpupi_for_cpu___1b_core_i9_13900k_(8p)_1min_7sec_951ms?recalculate=true The Barrow AIO have weaker fans and I expect the software is worse than what EVGA offer. I would jump over this one and rather go with EVGA or Arctic AIO. Both offer a better total package.
  23. Do they even test firmware before they push it out? Can't even test if the core ratio works as it should. This reminds me all about Microsoft and their awful CU patches. I'll see if I find similar cheap fan setup for bottom chassis below the GPU. What I have now isn't on same level in finish🙂
  24. If the color Lian Li used for the Lancool chassis wasn't ugly brown black and instead used real black it would almost be plug and play. Just drill 4 holes. Even two would be enough. Could be the color is different in real life. All the White modern color mess destroy for proper black colors nowadays. https://lian-li.com/product/lancool-216/ From 0.23 sec
  25. Not sure, but probably depending on the GP design. As an idea on how it will works...
