The elite/fab clockers will as usual get the top of the cream. They got their handpicked chips long time ago. And your KF is an KS. Intel couldn’t use that cpu due faulty iGpu🙂 https://community.hwbot.org/topic/232585-elmor-core-i9-14900ks-8p-91178mhz-911775-mhz-cpu-frequency/ https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-core-i9-14900ks-has-been-overclocked-to-9117-mhz-claiming-new-world-record -

Thanks. All Dell Alienware have short circuits. Every single of them. And many of them have dead CPU when they come into the repair shop. Fantastic. And don't blame Intel for this. It's all on Dell. So no wonder Dell is big regarding offer their customers extended warranty for huge premium. Disgusting? Yup. Intel Core i9-14900KS Review: The Last Core i9 Hits Record 6.2 GHz at Stock Setting Yup, one more joke for the day. 25% more expensive ($139) for 1.5% gains in multithreaded applications. Wow, that's a huge win, LOOL Oh'well, ordered one🙂 Expected arrival within 4-6 days. Converted without tax. $675.59 United States Dollar. The vanilla 14900K cost $558.97 United States Dollar without tax. Edit. The 14900KS is already sold out 5 min after I picked it up. I had two in the basket but went with one. -

Thanks. Did you compare latest official bios 2002 for the White Apex that contain Intel microcode 0x123 with the new beta bios that also come with 0x123 ? Or was the older bios version with the better Aida memory speed with an older MC? If I understand you correct.... The only difference was MC 0x123 for the new beta vs your older bios? In short. Did you compare bioses with same MC 0x123 ? Sorry if I didn't understand you correctly. -

Hmmm. Thanks. It seems they try make the bios works with the coming KS. Did you check if Asus added latest MEI 16.1.30.2330 firmware in their beta? And did you check if they used same MC as for previous bios version? Maybe it contain a new not released MC version. Two day ago Intel released a new MC for Linux New Intel CPU Microcode & "RFDS" Linux Kernel Patch -

I don't see this as big profits. With graphics cards you need only a single platform. With Cpu mining you need MB/ram and Cpu for every setup. So $850+ in cost. Then you have different places in the world you pay a lot for the elecricity. Let them mine and earn minimum. Stupidity always come at a cost. Can't be cured. -

From Seasonic.... The exact time to market depends on your location. Please contact *****@*****.tld for more information. Send them an email. Regarding lifetime of mating cycles... Seasonic use whatever numbers they can pull out from their hat. In previous link they said 50 cycles is the "normal" standard. Here below can you see they say.... Designed for a lifetime of 30 mating cycles, a normal standard for connectors. So put in what number you want🙂 One thing for sure.... Lower quality cables/connectors will have lower maiting cycles. In short... I would avoid Cablemod (custom) cables as I already have stated several times. Happy mating😀 -

Papusan replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
Why buy custom cables with (angled) 12V-2x6 connectors from Cablemod when you can get them from the PSU OEM? About time all the different OEM brands doing the same. This type cable is here to stay. You don't need any of the cheapo made custom cables from Cablemod. Buy a quality PSU from a reputable brand and you get quality cables on top as well. Seasonic launches 12V-2×6 (H++) 600W power cables for NVIDIA RTX GPUs Hmmm. Designed for a lifetime of 50 mating cycles, a normal standard for connectors. When become 50 mating cycles the normal standard for connectors? For low/mid end. -

Preliminary list of what I have of desktop graphics cards. Only two AMD cards. The rest is NVIDIA CARDS. And that's intended. I don't like AMD cards for a reason🤔 The "Dead Editions" is killed cards that can serve as spare parts😀 And the best part.... All outside the 4090 HOF can be used with Windows 7. Yup. 50% more threads would make an huge difference in performance. But with todays Ryzen chips not much would have changed on the bot if more people posted results. The best results is already subbed on the leadeboard. Remember the elite/fab clockers use both AMD and Intel chips as they being released. And they get the best binned chips you can find. In other words... Handpicked chips directly from Intel and AMD. -

Papusan replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
There are several different results for the multi thread performance crown. Depends on the benchmarks and who did the tests. Just head over to Hwbot or techpowerup. You'll see more Intel than AMD on top of the global leaderboards on Hwbot. If I used an AMD processor for my benching I would struggle keep up on Hwbot leaderboard🙂 -

If this is something to expect.... <140 points on the single-threaded score is around a 12% gain over the Ryzen 9 7950X, while the multi-core score is right about 10% faster>. Then I can understand why Intel ditching HT for Arrow Lake Cpu's. This way they can lower the total power consumption without losing the multi thread performance crown over to AMD. Because there is no competition that offer the best you can get. Sad AMD trashing the competition🙁 Exactly the same way they did with 7900XTX vs Nvidia's best Sku. Hmmm. Have Mr. Azor changed HW department now? Went from the AMD graphics group and over to Ryzen processors for consumers. Hmmm. Sad reading. Sorry, but this means AMD will Sucks once again. Probably when they are forced to do so. They pushed out old hardware from Win 11 du they said security was their main priority and goal. Everything coming from Redmond HQ is just lies. Microsoft left a kernel-level, zero-day bug in Windows for six months before patching it Hackers exploited the issue to spread an extremely stealthy rootkit

Yup. Why release Win 11 in the first place? All features in Win 11 could easly be implemented in theold Windows 10. But Microsoft wanted get rid of some older hardware so their partners could increase their profits. Push you on new hardware will also help Microdft to sell more OS lisences. Disgusting? Hmmmm. AMD in the spotlight today🙂 And not because they shine. AMD’s Lisa Su steps in to fix driver issues with GPUs in new TinyBox AI servers The intervention comes as Tiny Box publicly frets about Radeon-based platform bugs Open-source Nvidia Nouveau contributor confident driver will add HDMI 2.1 support, unlike AMD's troubles "Even though AMD might not be able to add support for HDMI 2.1 [to open-source Linux drivers], Nouveau certainly will as Nvidia's open source driver also supports HDMI 2.1 so there is no reason to believe that at least some drivers can't support HDMI 2.1," Herbs wrote at Mastodon. "It is quite backwards, but apparently having all the logic inside firmware (like Nvidia does) will probably help us implementing support for HDMI 2.1." -

Also EVGA fail hard with their binning for their flagship graphics cards. Should not be possible bin from 68% and up to 92% ascic score for same SKU series. And on top their Classified cards. Isn't it disgusting bro @Mr. Fox?🙄 See also.... At the rear of the card we see a very large PCB. What baffles me though is that EVGA does not equip the card with a back plate, you need to optionally purchase it for 20 USD. That is not what I expect for a top / flagship / leading SKU. GTX 780 ASIC Quality Asic Quality 78.9%. Nothing fantastic for the GTX 780 Classified. But it's what it is. And this one need a re-paste. Runs quite hot with the XOC vbios and +1.3v on the cores https://hwbot.org/submission/5500411_papusan_gpupi_v3.3___1b_geforce_gtx_780_25sec_417ms?recalculate=true -

Yup, the GTX 570 MSI junk will be removed, put in a drawer and will be used as spareparts for rest of my old MSI cards. I can't accept trash anymore from a company that don't even try to support own products through it's lifespan. But here is my new "old" baby. Just arrived papusan's plaza. So more pict for the pict lover @electrosoft😀 Say hello to the old dusty EVGA GTX780 Classified. Enjoy. EVGA never released an GTX 780 Classy k|ngp|n card. Only for the Ti model.... In short the EVGA GTX780 Classified was their best SKU for GTX 780 lineup. I have added my EVGA GTX 980 Classified K|ngp|n in the pict below. Here below the successor for GTX 780. The EVGA GTX 980 Classified K|ngp|n. Nvidia never released a 8xx graphics cards for desktops. They only released re-hashed 8xx series graphics cards for Jokebooks to milk even more $$$ from the laptop jockey's. Some even upgraded their GTX 780M laptops with a new Jokebook with GTX 880M the year after only to get lower performance. Gamer boys is easy to trick. Maybe because they think newer always has to be better @Mr. Fox @Rage Set @ryan You can easily see that the GPU design is EVGA at it's best. The owner of this EVGA card never removed the plastic stickers for the fans. And it seems he also wasn't very good with the cleaning cloth/dust can. Edit. The eltrical dust-cleaner is an fantastic tech. All should have/buy one. The card is as new again🙂 YouTube at it's core. It sucks if you aren't big. A few words from out old friend. -

Msi strikes once again. Yup, more trash coming from MSI. Trash Asic score. Their best GTX570 card offer 73.8% vs cheapo Gainward's 86%. On top... You get Hynix vram. Want Samsung vram then you need to go with cheapo Gainward. I can clearly see MSI value their customers. As well, MSI don't offer support with their OC tools for own older cards. If you want MSI Afterburner OC tools to works then you need to buy another brand cards. Once again Asus will save you with their always working GPUTweak tool for voltage adjustments. Yup... If you keep your new cards and be you sure you'll be screwed by MSI in the end. Do you like stupidity + trash brand bro @Mr. Fox? Of course I also got trash when bought their 4090 flagship. It was doomed to happen. Not sure how many MSI cards I have tried but I have got a lot junk from that company. They are in top 1 regarding offering me pure Junk or better say trash. I think this will be the last card I will ever buy from MSI. Get them cheap doens't matter. $22.34 USD incl shipping down the drain. No point continue benching this card. Running all too hot and with all too low clocks. Both the vram and the cores is trash. I feel sorry for the person that bought this utter junk from MSI for +$320 when it was out for sale in the days. Thanks.... MSI🤮🤮🤮 Edit. Yup Gainward crush MSI. And MSI put whatever bin quality they have avaliable to sell even their flagship cards. Nothing can beat greed/stupidity. If you don'thave proper binned chips... Then just wait until you can offer what people should expect from their flagship.
