Yep, just cripple the Cpu, LOOL What is base clock speed for Intel Core i9-13950HX without Turbo boost? 2.2GHz? So close to 2.1 GHz on average for the Cpu in gaming tests has to be good. The Cpu reach almost base clock😎 @Mr. Fox Is this a Joke or relality?💩 This is nice. GPU clocks and power remain relatively stable during The Witcher 3 stress at 1080p Ultra. The average CPU package power gets further reduced to 42.7 W allowing the RTX 4090 to comfortably coast around the 157 W mark on average. Both the Core i9-13950HX and the RTX 4090 clock close to 2.1 GHz on average. Razer Blade 16 Early 2023 RTX 4090 Review: Core i9-13950HX beast with world's first dual-mode mini-LED UHD+ display

4th for the old GTX 980 in 3DM Sky Diver😎 I may can squize out a bit higher Physics but that won't help much. I will now try with Win 7 🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5233141_papusan_3dmark___sky_diver_geforce_gtx_980_59637_marks?recalculate=true -

What we will see this summer/fall... AMD will have to reduce MSRP on all their HW. AMD wasn't able to deliver what nvidia did with 4090 to keep Intel down from the Cpu performance crown. A gaming chips is just what it is in the name. Nothing more. Remember when AMD offered their first 16 core Ryzen mainstream chips. They keept the ugly MSRP sky high for a very long time. Now, not so much. That train has gone. Nvidia do the same with their 4090 as AMD did with their 3950X. No competition so just let us sell it at awful high price. Only real competition can change greed to less greed. Intel need launch a cheaper Raptor refresh chips who offer slighly more all core perfomance than coming 7800X3D. With good 8 P-cores performance for gaming. -

Its stupid not have something so called "new" to compete with. They do it this ways to try keep up profits instead for offering huge discounts when they see AMD sell loads of X3D chips. And we all know Intel and..... Equal as..... See the blue box -

For what I remember they are fused off for today's chips. Intel know AMD come with X3D chips this spring and they had to offer a competitor. Barely good enough to compete in gaming but meant to be more powerful in everything else. The god news... You can still use your old MB. -

Thats for the Zen5 competitor next year😎 For now... Expect Intel have fused of back the Digital Linear Voltage Regulator (DLVR) to reduce power consumption by up to 25%. This to try squize out a bit more multi threaded perfomance. They have to show some gain over the X3D chips from AMD. So same power consumption but higher all core boost. -

Intel have probably started bin chips for the Raptor refresh🙂 Yep, as long you don't get the new silicon refresh from all AIB partners and not only from Nviida. Cross-flashing is a goner with the new chips revision. -
You disable the performance counters with DISKPERF –N. You can see they are gone in task manger after that CMD command. Just test with both commands DISKPERF –Y and you see the counters in task manager is back again.

Same up again as the older 12900KS. The question is how far you can go with it. "This is exactly the reason why comparing the CPU types based on the SP metric alone is only of limited use" -
Be careful with the voltage on the new Ryzen gaming chips. The X3D chips looks fragile. But with AMDs slippery slope you can have the chance to try the silicon lottery once again if you aren't happy with what you got. Just pump in some more voltage😀 So don't bother flash next bios version. You may not be able to flash it back. Yep, I gave that nice advice to bro @electrosoft

Whats wrong with the Cpu? Nice seeing the i9-13900HX boils near 100C. The Cpu temp target from Dell reached on first try? https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/36889484/spy/34714561/spy/32688188#

Fanboys is weird. Damn weird😎 Todays Joke Nr. 1... Realistically, we expect the next $500 GPU to be only slightly faster than the RTX 3070. 2nd Joke for the day.... Inno3D GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card to feature one wimpy 8-pin power connector -

I expect AMD to tighten the holes to avoid increased RMA costs. This loophole is nice to use if you want try the silicon lottery for the X3D chips. Well baked AMD. Use it for all it's worth bro @electrosoftif you later want a new X3D chips😎 Ryzen 7000X3D May Be Limited to 1.35V After Der8auer's CPU Catastrophe -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The first nail in the farewell coffin for Intel ARC graphics cards for gamers. From what I have seen, there are different opinions about pre-heating before delidding. Have seen people said that the pre-heating can worsen the delidding job. I would do as I normally do. No use of heat. Just let the tool do the job Remeber what I said about the Rockitcool copper IHS size... More info here. And if you can... Use the stock intel lid https://www.overclock.net/threads/13900k-delid-results-any-tips-on-dealing-with-a-single-rogue-core™.1804927/ -

I only bought the 13900K for my hobby. But not needed. My 12900K was a nice sample. But my son enjoy it , so... Be careful with the voltage on the X3D Ryzen chips if you want to thinkering with the chips. They seems quite fragile. And once again a sloopy job done by AMD. They never stop amaze me. Their QC and QM is awful. -

(P-sp * 2 + E-sp) / 3 ~= Global SP. So I expect E-SP score is closer to 104. Bro Fox. Each tray cost $25.000 USD. And the benchers have access to at least 10 tray of them or $250.000 USD for the binning to find the Cpu they want for points on the bot. I only mentioned custom cooling because thats what you need with the Supercool direct-die cold plate🙂 Aka replacment for the Intel IHS. But this cold-plate is not a real IHS replacement as the Rockitcool copper IHS. -

I had this KS in my favorite basket a long time (the used market here home). But the $1,125 price tag wasn't very appealing. And I knew Intel would may make an 3rd binning of and make an Raptor lake refresh. But P-SP127 was quite good. If this was on the used market when I bought the 13900K last year I may have jumped on it, but not now so late in the Cpu cycle and close to a final refresh. You need custom cooling. -

Yep, they all have their shares of problems or bugs even engineering flaws. But this shoudn't happpen 4 or 5 months after release of brand new graphics cards. They could put the blame on that they don't make graphics cards anymore but that would be too stupid from an MB manufacturer😎 Neither should a brand as etc EVGA go cheapo and lock you out from oc'ing with the cheapest voltage controller aviable in the market. Not the fun experience I had with my EVGA GTX 760. If I know this I would never ever bought that card. Even if I paid half the price. And the bin quality for my 980 Kingpin is even worse than what you can find in the cheapest MSI card. Only saved by the unlocked XOC vbios and the better cooling. This is just sad. Yep, this just show how the tech world works. If they can... They all will go cheapo and don't want put much work into their overpriced hardware. Shame on them. Even the best warranty on earth can't fix flawed design made with intent. I hate it when the best tech companies sometimes offer HW on level with the worst from Dell. Thats bad, Very bad. And not good for the consumers. -

Thats nice👍 All systems I have seen with 6900XT and Win 7 is with ASUS boards. Sad EVGA haven't fixed this. But this is not the only problem with the best board from EVGA. They even struggle have compatibility with some 4090 graphics cards. And same for the Z790 as with the older Z690. It rubs me the wrong way when I hear something like this with boards solely meant for OC'ing.
