Whatever tweaking you do with Win 11... The result will be the same.... A disaster Edition. -

Yep, NVCleanStall is a fantastic tool. On level with ThrottleStop and DDU. A must have if you test out different drivers and want to clean install and get rid of the garbage within 2 min. And then you have Hwinfo64 and MSI Afterburner. A must have. I installed Win 11 this night. What damn awful experience. Nothing have changed vs last time I tried it. I need several days to see if this crap can be useful for benching or to look at. It seems every new Windows version will be worse. Probably make it ready for their next gen Windows phones. And they will come. Be you sure. But I won't use it for 24/7 use. The 3DM Port Royal score was quite ok'ish. I'm sure there is more in the tank 🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5220174_papusan_3dmark___port_royal_geforce_rtx_4090_28547_marks?recalculate=true And I killed Oviz Port Royal score with air cooler and efficiency. Even his chiller wasn't enough this time🙂 Edit. A fast run with Speed way -

So this means temperature going bad without the TIM degrade or pump out? If this happened suddenly there has to be a hardware failure on the AIO. Maybe try out this pump tweak before you go further. ARCTIC Freezer II mod to get pump speed output Was opposite to me... I had a custom Win 10 21H1 I wanted to update to Win 10 21H2 and whatever I did to try reset the tweaks. Nothing worked. Locked down as a 100 year old virgin😎 Edit. A couple of questions for the gamers. Or all. Is it worth enable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling or and Gamer Mode. Both for benching and gaming on new modern graphics cards. I normally disable Game Mode and Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling And what Win 11 version provide best performance (games/benching)... 11-22H1 or 11-22H2. Thanks. And here we see Nvidia try beat AMD😎 Nvidia Driver Bug Increases CPU Usage IT SEEMS THE WORD SCAM IS THE NEW NORMAL, NOWADAYS. Don't buy the 7900 X3D series Cpu's. Its' scam. Both of them, LOOL -

Hi. Did you install the repair kit from Arctic for their AIO ? Regarding temp degradation (pump out)... Have you tested with IC Diamond ? A failed/failing pump would mean massive heat problems once you start taxing the Cpu. As a notice.... This update is optional. The recommended/required security/HW features to be able to use/run Win 11 on older hardware is useless. Nothing will be 100% secure. So Microsoft should stop release/post crap. The fastest 4090 mobile on 3Dmark leaderboard offer around 75-80% slower TSE Gpu graphics scores. But I expect the fake frame features like DLSS 3 will cover their back so they can continue sell overpriced scam for 4K gaming. 4090 mobile graphics chips ain't made from real 4090 die's. This is in short scam. Or fraud if that word fits in better. Whats the correct term in U.S English? Scam or fraud. Can both be used? https://skypeenglishclasses.com/english-vocabulary-the-subtle-difference-between-fraud-and-scam/ This below isn't scam but QA-QM and QC problems on level with what you have seen from AMD last couple of years... And the the overpricing just follow Nvidia's new price policy. Greed have no limits. Nice with overpriced water blocks that will damage you graphics cards so you lose warranty and possible resale. QA and QC is non existent. But they still want premium prices for their products. Watercool Heatkiller V Pro with the GeForce RTX 4090 FE in the test - final comparison of four GPU water blocks igorslab.com https://www.igorslab.de/en/watercool-heatkiller-v-pro-with-the-geforce-rtx-4090-fe-in-test-comparison-with-three-other-gpu-watercoolers/6/ However, I still can't give an award and that's not because of the price. This can happen with the slot aperture (but it should not). But the destruction of original components of the PCB by sharp-edged washers and the resulting loss of warranty in case of damage I unfortunately cannot tolerate, as good as the cooler may perform on. So in short.... Igorslab couldn't give out an awards for this review unit. Yep, you can fix it where Watercool failed to do so, but you pay them a lots of money for the job. At premium. You shouldn’t need have to fix what they should have done correctly in first place. -

Quite good result with Win 10. I see all on the top 5 for TSE use Win 11. And ok efficency in the physics sub test. But it seems I need Win 11 to see if I get a gain. https://hwbot.org/submission/5219331_papusan_3dmark___time_spy_extreme_geforce_rtx_4090_20105_marks -

Yep and if you lap the IHS fully flat and on top use the custom contact Cpu-frame to make the IHS perfectly flat/even the AIO cold-plate will be of a bigger problem. Sometimes the AIO will work better without any custom contact Cpu-frame. This has to be tested. -
*Official Benchmark Thread* - Post it here or it didn't happen :D
Papusan replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
Z690/790 have the weak Intel - ILM for socket 1700. Hence the custom Cpu-frame can reduce the bending banana mess introduced by Intel. But not all boards bend equal. The slightly curved AIO cold-plate takes account on this. The cold/plate has to match the IHS flatness. And the results depends if both surfaces match each other. It’s trial and errors with this gen Intel socket. Nr1 oc’er used a destroyed board so he could sand down the IHS properly. Google Splave and lapping IHS for 12th gen. -

Look at my post on OC.net https://www.overclock.net/threads/overclocking-raptor-lake-13900k-13700k-13600k-etc-results-bins-and-discussion.1799628/post-29054726 And fully flat/plane IHS isn't the best choice with AIO coldplate's if you are on Z690/790 boards with the bending mess. The pump on AIOs is right above the cold-plate and this is one of the reasons they are able to cool with weaker pumps. And there is not much fluid in an AIO. And the distance for the loop is very short. -

They are all dishonest. The manufacturers of HW use binned parts when they throw out MB, CPU's and GPU's for the elite to promote their best products. The world records bragging is worth nothing for the average Joe or the performance entusiasts. This is more as false adverticing. The nearest you can come scam. They even use binned MB for making memory profiles in bios. Regarding fits between IHS and heatsink. Even the best HW tweaks (CPU frame) can't fix the bending mess on some boards. You can even risk worse results with the CPU frame. This is status quo on today's tech... Messed up. -

Remember reviews with different Cpu's can provide different temp results. I don't think the pump or pump speed is the problem. Has to be the cold plate fits on the IHS. And you are looking on an AIO that won't bring you much... And the results from the AFII is with the weak less noisy fans that follow the AIO. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/deepcool-ls720-aio-360-liquid-cpu-cooler/7.html https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/10347/deepcool-ls720-cpu-liquid-cooler/index.html You aren't the chosen one bro Fox. There is firmware and software for the elite. Not for the average Joe or the ordinary performance jockey's. -

Is the last nr of the two (58C-73C) the hottest temp? Or the spread? I think the EKWB DD have too much metal. Do really people buy this? It looks like a baby toy. Thanks 🙂 Thanks 🙂 Then it seems I need Win 11 for Port Royal. And maybe test out a few other Win 10 builds for many of the other benchmarks. I really miss using Win 7 and not keen being forced on Win 11 for a few benchmarks. Do we prefer Game mode On or Off in Windows with new modern graphics cards? It seems Hwbot didn't bother clean up in 3D Time Spy Extreme ranking for 4090. Still results with ECC Enabled https://hwbot.org/submission/5115095_traktor_3dmark___time_spy_extreme_geforce_rtx_4090_20058_marks Same for Port Royal https://hwbot.org/submission/5103585_traktor_3dmark___port_royal_geforce_rtx_4090_27824_marks Some progress in Time Spy Extreme but I forgot the Cpu. Bro @Mr. Fox @johnksss Is the problem Win 11 or do I miss something? Enable Rbar - Feature in Nvidia Profile Inspector. But there is two other options in there as rBar Options and rBar Size limit. I haven't added any values there. I haven't had new modern so I need to learn it on new again. In short is Enable rBar enough or do you have to change other rBar settings in NIP ? The boost and memory clocks looks good, the boost clocks start at 3120 and run at that speed the first 20 sec before it settle down to 3106 the whole benchmark, but the result doesn't look very good. The clocks stay nice and steady where they should be. The clocks should normally be enough to push me well above 28000 in Port Royal. https://www.3dmark.com/compare/pr/2140694/pr/2189217/pr/2152158# Btw. As I said... Pascal and Turing is probably the next cards on the castrating list. Why not just get rid of the small amount extra voltage you can add with the different AIB OC tuning software? I expect this feature is only meant to lure you into thinking their new and shiny is fantastic overclocker's. Once the card is a few years old... We must get rid of features that prolong the products lifespan. One word for this... DISGUSTING! https://www.overclock.net/threads/nvidia-sucks-power-limit-taken-away-900-series-driver.1800372/post-29149719 Fantastic. I must have those. I live in a place with the dreaded northern dark 9 months a year so I will check it out. Thanks🙂 See... The Crocs lights will match my Lupine Wilma headlight😀 Who need bling bling lights in a pc chassis when you can just turn around and sit the correct way with the crocs? Today. New snow storm. HeHe. Yep, its what it is. And the deal is quite good compared to what you get in many other countries or what I normally have to pay here home. On level what some of you have to pay for the Strix OC in US without the taxes🙂 What I mostly complain about is the awful 25% tax + the added exchange currency who drive the prices up +30% over what you have to pay in US. Not so sure bro Fox or you would be happy with +2700$ over already disgusting $2,162... Who is already awful vs the 4090FE's at $1599 MSRP. And this for a Strix OC card, not a K|ngp|n card. Just a vanilla Asus card with the OC branding. Yep bro John, it's what it is🙂 And I accepted it when I paid for it. 4x 4090 Strix OC with taxes here is $10800. Or slightly below the 4 Titan X's you paid back in the day with US prices. Aka $8648 included last years inflation (+7%). That's damn cheap for 4x 4090 cards, LOOL If Nvidia continue the nice price shrinkage they have done from the Titans X age we will see 4x 5090 Strix OC at $8000 included inflation, HaHa +reps my friend😎 Btw. Prices for 4000 series cards, especially the 4080 is equal awful as this 7900X3D "gamer" chips... 17:10 - Conclusion LOOL 22:54 -

Nice score bro John🙂 Yep, colder temps help to keep up max boost. And without the tax it would be a $2230 card. If they had this card or the Strix OC I wanted in my normal shop I could shaved off $200 due to me having a discount there, so rigth above $2000. But with limited supply of prefered cards sometimes you don't have many choices. This is the reality living in a small country. Limited options. In all ways. Edit. The only good thing is the 5 years free warrranty. -
