I think very much about the 2080s exchange, 3080.😕 Unfortunately, only the +8GB VRAM (8NM tech., Nice CUDA Core, etc..etc.) would make it worth it. Only +8% is the difference. LINK It would be 2060, then it would be worth replacing it. In addition to 2080S, G-Sync is also an important factor!

Only so much are big in lines though. You withdraw the old one and you are putting in the new one (as he was the old one) and paste, thermal benches puts and fixes refrigeration, is useful then.

I see it as you SM-G is and i9-10900K + RTX 3080 MXM GPU. Do these deficiencies exist at you? If it would be bought single 3080 GPU, it would be going then beside mistakes mentioned by you?

According to PCSpecialist (UK) manufacturer, 3080 is not in the X170SM-G machine and has no BIOS to support the X170SM-G machine.

I would expect the hardware to be fully used! This is as if the processor can only be used at a basic clock and "OC" cannot be applied with it. 🤨😞

The forum was discussed and who used or tried it was written about it. I don't remember anymore, but Gpu Boost (150W+) was a problem and a G-Sync lack and a few more things. It can be used, but not 100% unfortunately.

Yes, I wanted to buy it too, but I talked about it. Unfortunately, the 3080 is not so good for SM-G because it is in a KM-G machine... I use Kryosheet and very good!

RTX 3080 does not bring it to be worth it. No G-SYNC and other problems with it in SM-G... Or a complete system reset? (deleted everything) Then re-installed (software, drivers, and configured ...) It's the same as reinstalling the system, just faster.

For me close ~220W was the 2080S it X170-in. 🙂

I am thinking strongly one on 3080 purchases, because 2080 Super are bars onto everything enough, but 8 VS 16GB VRAM it quite seducer...! What kind of disadvantages there are it X170SM-G his case for the application of 3080 GPUs? /somebody would be able to sum it up, pro - kontra/ It would be necessary to handle it without a trouble theoretically, but i think G-Sync it would not be with him... 2080 a lot are better at everything, than the there would be 3080 (the 16GB onto the harm of VRAM)

I would have a problem. I ran multiple malware search programs and cleaned something because CPU is fixed. 3.6ghz goes and if I say up, I accept the bigger multiplier and do it when accepting it, but instant is taken down 3.6ghz and it is quite disturbing ... I tried to do the XTU and Intel Chipset driver again, but no improvement. What do you think is the solution? Win10 X64 is now on the machine, has Win11 (Dual Boot System 2TB SSD 1-1 TB Share 50-50%) and no problem.
