  1. Getting tempted to sell my m18 r1 and buy one of these. 👀 what’s the cheapest 5090 model? I see a 200hz 3840x2400 panel, is that one mini led?
  2. I tried rx580 as well, same problem. S7100x is probably like Tesla, no video outs. I made the vbios myself, I'll upload it later once I finished testing Now I'm curious about 6600 xt mxm....lol
  3. Do you have a pic or link to the shunt mod? I'd love 450w per gpu. Right now SLI is not working because the motherboard doesn't have SLI certificate. I tried doing dsdt editing to inject some but didn't work yet. I do have one other method left to try which may work so hoping to get SLI up and running soon. The 20 series are last to support true SLI unlike 30 series so they should work in all games that support SLI
  4. I think the reason I never got one is because I only wanted an FE card lol. The bending was more annoying than i expected. I used basically all corsair parts. But it still looks clear, and is much more pleasing to look at than soft tubing. I have 2x480mm Corsair radiators (I think HWLabs is the OEM). One pump, and a bunch of 14mm tubing. All Noctua fans so it's quiet.
  5. Damn @jaybee83 got a 5090. Anyone else get one yet? Here I am playing with my peasanty GPU setup 😂
  6. Just wanted to let y'all know, I am using Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC IoT (2021) on a few systems now since Win 10 Pro loses support in October. Aside from being an older build (21H2 I think) it works fairly well. Performance has been good for me. I may try 2024 version which is basically Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC IoT (2024) but I'm liking the performance of 2021 so far. Supported until 2032 as well.
  7. Not sure if I am missing anything but a 4930MX or 4940MX will provide much better performance when overclocked. You can hit 4Ghz all day without any additional voltage. 4.3Ghz should be easy to obtain and cool. I guess the biggest advantage is the Iris iGPU but if you're losing one memory channel it;s already not worth it to me. If you provide me the microcode I can try updating the BIOS for you but be sure you have a programmer and backup your original BIOS.
  8. You can buy 4090 MXM for just a tiny bit more and it will be much faster. It's 150w model 3080 at $570 is the best deal and is proven to work in M18xR2, AW 18, M17xR4
  9. As far as we know, up until now, 880M was the fastest card for M17xR3 due to UEFI BIOS issues. I got a WX4150 flashed to RX 560 and it worked with the 120hz eDP display, so I decided to gamble and bought the AMD Radeon PRO WX 7100 (mobile) MXM card. Well....it worked! It was a Dell card and worked right away. Everything works EXCEPT fan control! You have to use HWINFO to control fans. The stock vBIOS barely hit 10K firestrike GPU score. I modified the vBIOS to OC RAM and increase power limit. Now it gets 13k! I can probably push it more but will try that later, wanted to share the news. This GPU supports DX12 and the 120hz eDP panel so it is the perfect upgrade. The cost isn't too bad either on Aliexpress (eBay is a bit more). IDT sound works too, but for me even 880M worked fine with IDT audio. I tested the GPU in Win7 and Win10 and it works in both.
  10. Ask them for barebones (without CPU & GPU heatsinks only)
  11. Install the unlocked bios. Go to bios and change the video to SG if it isn’t already. In Optimus mode the 1070 should work
  12. Nope it’s definitely a driver issue somewhere
  13. On AW 419.67 is the last driver that lets me use RTX 3000 and Intel hd 3000. But DX12 doesn’t work only DX11. on M6600 389.xx driver works but same issue , no dx12 support
  14. I’m getting power limited with 880M now too. So it only Worked once. Need to figure out what was different
  15. It’s sandy bridge laptop. Only works with the vBIOS I uploaded. Already tried everything else. If you cannot mod this one it’s fine I’ll run it stock.
  16. I modified the TDP using pascal mobile TDP tweaker but the generated vbios causes code 43. now it’s in my M6600 and I don’t plan to remove it. only m17x r2 with dual GPUs and m17x r3 with single GPU left to test stuff with.
  17. Didn’t try it, vBios mod causes code 43 error need premade one but I’m certain TDP increase should help
  18. Nope, if there were I probably would have bought one for the collection. you can try contacting Eurocom to see if they have any old stock
  19. Good luck, I’m still waiting on a couple GPUs myself
  20. Try driver 389.XX it’s from Dell 7710 I think on Dell website. Modify INF and it should work
  21. Are you able to apply these clocks/TDP to my specific factory vBIOS for P4000? My laptop only boots with this specific vBIOS... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ubOX_qahZZU46uMrXccDeUl_AvMl0LAi/view?usp=sharing
  22. @Nowan @Parallax5290 Got P4000 working in M6600 NVIDIA Quadro P4000 (Notebook) video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2960XM Processor,Dell Inc. 04YY4M
  23. Tesla P6 doesn't have any video output support. So it's a SG (Optimus) only option or using dual MXM slots in slot2. It requires extra registry mods but I got it working. After some more testing I'll post the reg mod needed specific to Tesla cards. Performance is low because AW18 has the pwr limit bug same as rtx 3000/5000. GPU is 90W limited and cannot be modded by driver or vBIOS at all.
  24. As I mentioned in my M17xR2 thread, when using nVidia GPU in primary and secondary slot (different cards), there seems to be some weird issue where both GPU TDPs are being combined for some reason. In my example, it was RTX 3000. It is a 80W TDP card but is it being limited to 55w. Using MSI Afterburner, I can see the primary M2000M is using 20-25W during the benchmarks. If you add 25+55w, you get the 80w TDP. This of course is just a theory, but considering my M17xR2, M18xR1, and your X7200 are doing the exact same thing, it tells me this isn't a hardware issue itself. PSU is NOT the issue. I can run 2x880M SLI @ 113w each in M18xR1. I also have 780w Eurocom PSU. The fact that I cannot exceed 55w on GPU2 and GPU1 is using up to 25W tells me the driver is combining their TDPs. Now for Pascal and older GPUs, what you can do is just increase the TDP of the card. If a P5200 has a 110w TDP just increase to 130w and see if performance improves.
