Samsung B-Die? As to the temps. Still, looks pretty damn good! Yeah, that was way to much complaining about E cores for me. I understand the concept, but beating a dead horse is not going to make it any better.😂 -

Not sure, but 7600 Kit was 429.99 Edit: You heard it here first....Benchmarks can take wierd E core numbers now and do better or worse. Example: Firestrike 8/16C 8E gets great all around score, but CPU score is lower. 8/16C 10E gets better over all score. Still testing..... -

Yep! I reserved it online as they had 2 kits. I got there at 8am and was first instore and they still had 1 kit because no one knew they had it. I could have got a ROG Strix card (1 of 8 ) but I took a hard pass. After watching Jayztwocents fail spectacularly with his memory over clock I was like you wont get me! -

I would check to see if that is Cinebench20 or 23 stable. As it stands I can barely do 5757Mhz All Cores so far. -

When using the website you have to look at the store you would be going to. And if it's hot off the shelf stuff, then the inventory will be behind, but once it normalizes then it's pretty up to date for the most part. Like right now....40 series cards will be behind because generally when they come off the truck and are counted they go into peoples hands. -

I could be jumping the gun, but damn...his box looks better than those beat up boxes you see and hear about in the mail. In other news my chip is a SP101 P110/E85 So nothing fancy at all. -

add me in. Edit: So while I was at MC I was talking to someone who knows of the guy with the cnc machined parts in the 4090 Box. turns out that guy is trying to scam Newegg. Those parts in the box were his. LOL https://www.tomshardware.com/news/geforce-rtx-4090-newegg-switcheroo -

So I asked today and they flat out said. You by this warranty bring it back and will exchange it. or you can say it's defect if that makes you feel better. lol As i got money back for my 6400 kit and purchased the 7600 kit for 80 bucks cheaper😂 Side note: Unify-X booted with no issues at 7600. MC had 8 ROG cards for 2K. ( I had brought my card but was like....nah, I'll pass) 2 7600 Kits No hero Z790 nor any 13900K's. -

I would give it at least a week before tearing it apart.... Lowing the voltage does wonders for temps.🙂 -

They sold out today, but when I checked they had one. Although it wouldn't have worked for it as it's an in store item only. Which I totally forgot. Edit: So it looks like I was telling stories....It is bootable and stable with just setting 7400 in the bios...Who knew. -

@Mr. Fox I checked again at MC and found that if I choose my store I can not buy it out right I can only reserve it, then pay at store. -

Not saying it didn't happen, but damn! That foam is damn near in perfect shape for being tossed around during shipping. And no one heard it rattling either? That would be the first person fired. That person that grabbed this off the shelf, unless of course this was sold through a private citizen using newegg. -

Hummm, wonder how long till ours does the same thing.... Yeah, they are not going for the smash it with a hammer like Intel's Tuning plan when it was operational. 😂 -

Ugh.....I'm going to have to pick up an Asus board to find out what this chip is. If you are within your 15 day return period which I'm 100% you are, then they will take it back without wasting your warranty. Just wait until next week when I'm guessing they will have more. maybe even get some on Saturday. Edit: can you run 5.6 ghz on 1.268V? -

johnksss replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
Hummmm, and you chose the right protection plan correct? With the right SKU? And you asked what your warranty covers before even paying for it right? Also I would state that a low quality SP rating is grounds for replacement(Meaning chip is not up to par - But this can also be found with in the normal return period though). Now no one is going to really know what that is, but that is how we "quantify" Intel chips as being keepers or losers these days. (This is of course is an example) -

I think it's more of the "lack of knowledge" than the board... -

I have to say, I kind of wished I kept my hero now as it was matching my Unify-X with 2 Dimm slots. Might have to dump the Unify -X and grab another hero from MC, then just wait for something better to show up. I tried 7600, but no boot. All these try's were on auto settings only.
