  5. Yes, the electrical power comes directly from the 2 graphics card cables! I have developed a complete internal power supply for the P870xx...Yes, the cooling will be as thick as that of the vapour chamber of the p870xx...The Cpu wiwrd difficult because the gen. have a different power protocol.... The 10.Gen still goes, the other would be associated with a lot of effort....

  7. I rather think not! The are forced by the shareholders and the pressure by the contracts and the monetary system....Would be nice of course, but at the moment it does not look like that, as I said...The GTX990M was but also MXM Factor. I'm talking about a complete desktop card:-)
  8. The P870xx then has real desktop GPU power and real desktop CPU power. I think this is a novelty 🙂
  9. The RTX4070ti is connected directly to the MXM port x16 lanes, yes! Nothing with TBT or other things. It's still in an experimental stage and there should be a RTX4080 installed soon in P870xx:-) I have indicated it on the picture, as the location of the card is in the notebook. I do not want to take pictures of my ideas for now. Make but the given time.

  12. That's what I'm saying, many only look at the bandwidth and forget that any inter-coupled chip causes latency. From a purely physical point of view, this causes delays in real time. Another example is PCIe 3.0 to 4.0, where there is little difference in games even though the data rate should be much faster. Here, nothing has changed physically on the data line, so the transmission is approximately the same and CPu works just as fast. There is no huge difference between 9th gen - 13/14 gen....
  13. I can only confirm you!! Unfortunately, Clevo, like the other manufacturers, depends on the rate-based money.... The current monetary system forces the manufacturers to such measures...Only when this monetary system cleans up again, you could see something different....The future will also show how customers react to it all, thereby also less sales will be made. The question is, whether the people want to afford that also far. In the past, a P870xx cost 4000 Euros with immense equipment, today you get a 2cm book for 5000 Euros that lasts 2 years and is not upgradeable!!!...
  14. Like I said, it goes up to UHD in 144Hz! That is not a problem in the P775xx and P870xx!
  15. I currently see only my solution that allows to use the MXM port of the P870xx with 16 lanes and integrates a latest GFX generation. With all others everything is outside and more cumbersome. Also the tests from PCIe 3.0 to PCIe 4.0 is not relevant in games! There is pratically no notable difference between the two generations. Also the jump between the CPU generations does not show a huge jump in games. The 13th gen is a bit faster in games, but the 9th gen can still keep up well. It also depends on the motherboard itself, etc. It puts it into relative terms!!!
  16. It's a simple calculation: Thunderbolt is only as fast as the weakest link in the transmission. It would have to go directly via the CPU. But it probably goes via the chipset. I have, for example, my solution directly connected to the CPU. This allows 16 lanes. On Thunderbolt you would need a distribution chip that manages the 16 lanes. This also costs time. Besides, it would only be a laptop, if not so much stuff is standing around outside 🙂 My solution integrates the desktop GFX!
  17. Yes, it is a pity that the MXM format is dying out. For this reason I thought a few years ago to create a possibility in the P870xx to continue to use the MXM port for the latest graphics cards. I have posted my tests in the P870TM thread with the second development stage. So the newest GFX generation is integrable in the P870xx!
