Thanks for the testing. What with cancer driver install versus NVCleanStall modding on same exact OS? Or did you test the different driver install on same OS? Nvidia only want to give you the bare minimum with the SUPER refresh... . For the RTX 4080 SUPER, this implies a 320W TDP, while the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is expected to feature a 285W TDP. The only exception is the RTX 4070 SUPER, which would see a 20W increase in power. What's the problem give the 4080 SUPER 400W TDP and slight bump in voltage to utilize higher TDP? https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4080-4070ti-4070-super-gpus-rumored-to-require-320-285-220w-power Btw. I put in my 14900K. Not a lottery winner. 102P and 80P for the E-cpores. Oh'well it's what it is. The 14900KS is probably out middle/late January if I bother spend more money. Some testing with the 14900K. https://hwbot.org/submission/5388367_papusan_y_cruncher___pi_1b_core_i9_14900k_15sec_339ms Still having black screen / 100% fan issue after switching to 1.1 180° adapter Had problems with the black screen / 100% fan issue so i ordered a 1.1 version of the 180 angled adapter, received it 2 weeks ago. Cablemod continue offer high quality 12VHPWR cables/connectors. On top the Cablemod and on the bottom you see the vanilla Nvidia cable.... Yup... Cablemod products can't be any worse than the stock cables that follow the GPU's. Again where is the QC? Shuffled down the drain/toilet to cut costs? If they can't see that their cables/connectors are bent/ broken in their QC you can't expect that they know if their custom cables/adapters fits the cards they are meant to be used with. -

Thanks bro. Still not determined that. I lack everything of parts here + the cost increase due where I live (long shipping time + taxes). And I have only my pc parts for a few months before I jump on new. No one here want to buy almost new processors on the used market that is out of warranty. The Norwegian shop I normally used also stopped with binned Cpu's. No one will pay for it. Norway ain't the best place for pc enthusiasts. Most we can buy here is vanilla trash. If you want etc some ok thermal pads or in some thickness you need. Nothing to find here. You need order it outside Norway and then wait 4-5 week to get it. And it won't get cheap when it reach Papusan's plaza. 30-40% price increase over what you others have to pay for it. Nice build brother. But why do you really need 20Ft tubes? Because you have put away the chiller in a corner to reduce noise? -

For the pict lover @electrosoft Yup, all black brother. Can't get enough of black🤪 But I hate the dreaded "all black" winter dark here up in the inhospitably cold North. Can't have it all☹️ -

Always smart with at least one pump that can serve as backup if 4 of the other pumps go to hardware heaven, HaHa -
Yup, this is the drawback with 100C as temp target 24/7/365. As Trevis North (Dell Alienware's lead thermal engineer)say... <they tune the cooling for 100C for all their Jokebooks. If the hw run 80C the thermal paste will last longer. But that would be out of scope for some thermal engineers. They are hired to cut cost... Not make the best thermal solutions!

Not sure if this is fixed or can be fixed... An Odd Limitation For now, the only graphics cards that can handle a 7680x2160 resolution at a refresh rate of 240 Hz with Samsung's curved 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 are AMD's Radeon RX 7000-series that support a DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR 13.5 (and offering a 54 Gbit/s of bandwidth). Meanwhile, the review by QuasarZone indicates that AMD's Radeon RX 7000-series boards can also support 7680x2160 at 240 Hz using HDMI 2.1 when used with a proper 48G cable. By contrast, neither Nvidia's GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs nor Intel's Arc A700-series GPUs could support this resolution at this refresh rate using any kind of connection, according to QuasarZone. Such a limitation is very odd, and its reasons are unknown. However, there could be restrictions in Intel and Nvidia GPU display pipelines or certain limitations in firmware or software. Nothing different than what he puking out in Hardware Unboxed YouTube videos. Remember Steve Walton was our old NBR friend Hmscott's (Scott Herkelman) favorite tech editor in the older days (due his big love love for AMDs products). And AMD offer products for the mainstream consumers... so.... -

Greed works. Always. And it seems all main AIB partners is equal or even more greedy than Nvidia itself when they push their 4090 Skus over to the Chineese market for more profits😟 Also scalpers are picking up some OF THE RTX 4090s with a view to reselling them in the Chinese market. ONCE AGAIN WILL THE GAMERS SUFFERS FROM GREED. -

Hi. Thanks. The board is in transit and need one more week to arrive. But what bios version did you test with? The release bios or the last beta? If so, any difference between them? Or is Asus firmware release cand and beta's still ridled with bugs? -

MSI Launches Project Zero Motherboards With Hidden Connectors MSI has finally listed the company's Project Zero motherboards with hidden connectors. Like Asus DIY-APE and Gigabyte Project Stealth, MSI's Project Zero essentially moves all the onboard connectors to the back of the motherboard to facilitate cable management and for a tidier aesthetic. And Apple/Dell/alienware's engineers will finally get confirmed they was correct all time regarding proprietary solutions.... Ready for the future AND NEW PUSH FOR EVEN HIGHER E-WASTE? @Mr. Fox @Talon @Rage Set++++ Dell will become the little boy in this mess when every HW company finds their own way of implementing and use new proprietary tech. And Apple needs some tough thinking to find where they stands vs their competitors from Windows land. This will be Ugly. Electronic waste | wikipedia.com -

Asus as well as other brands shouldn’t use the worst chips for their flagship products. That’s totally wrong. You pay massive premium for their best products and get chips from the bottom barrel isn’t great. Rather wait throw it out if there is shortage of the better chips/ICs. That’s on Asus and the rest of the greedy companies. They need to stop with this. -

I mean 1060 also sold in loads. They have been on top in Steam a long time. Just sad see Asus put up the middle finger for their best 1070 OC card and gave some of them Micron. Remember Asus put out many different SKUs of same tier. At least give their overpriced Strix OC cards the best vram. But nope. It's Asus @Mr. Fox🤔 Because only Micron can offer GDDR6X. Nvidia partnered with Micron for their high end SKUs in 3000 and 4000 series. Edit. https://videocardz.com/newz/micron-24-gbps-gddr6x-memory-for-geforce-rtx-40-series-is-now-in-production -

More picture for the pict lover @electrosoft😀 I couldn't resist due it's price. I bought an 1060 card un-seen and I didn't even ask for the brand model when I clicked the buy button. And guess what I got.... Asus 1060 Strix O6GB. And with Samsung vram. Damn stupids at Asus @Mr. Fox They gave their cheaper 1060 OC cards Samsung vram but put in the less wanted Micron vram for their more expensive 1070 Strix OC............ I paid $30 USD for it. Not bad. I put it into the test machine. Run a bit too hot so it need re-paste. The card is never re-pasted because I see the woid warranty sticker is still on top of one of the screws. -
