Just give them a fine that push them years backwards. And it helps avoid unwanted software/apps. In short.... Choose what you want and install carefully. Also the EU regulation have forced changes for privacy. To the better for "some" consumers as in EU countries and Northern Scandianavia. FTC Bans Antivirus Provider Avast From Selling Users' Browsing Data “The vast majority of consumers would not know that the Avast Software would surveil their every move on the Internet or that their browsing information might be sold to more than 100 third parties and stored indefinitely, in granular, re-identifiable form,” the FTC’s order adds. -

Hmmm. I wonder how long it takes before we see new login requirements or new unwanted changes. Modern often turn into to the undesirable or disgusting. That's for sure. Just look at how Microsoft go one step forwards then two steps backwards with their OS. New or newer doesn't always mean better. It can be worse. Yup. Gamers nexus is spot on. See from 7:16 (new doesn't always mean better). More clicks to do same tasks is exactly the way Microsoft did with their new and shiny OS. To the worse. Yup, all this reminds me about the new modern Windows. And I hate it. Does it matter? In principle, it is a no-brainer. Stay away from "My PC, privacy and data". It's my property. It's me who determine what I want do with my data and my own computers. If I want to share... I do it myself. If they know everything they "all" would stop snoop. -

Have seen it before but didn’t take a note of it because I scrapped the launch of Z790 cards. I walked right from Z690 Apex over to the Encore. Msi hadn’t an option after Z690 Unify-X. And Evga z790 wasn’t an option here. When you talked about it I googled it for you and @Rage Set 🙂 -

CPU Loadline Saturation Control: If CPU current is higher than the 'CPU Loadline Saturation Level' threshold, 'CPU Loadline Calibration' settings will apply. If the CPU current is lower than the threshold, the setting will not apply and thus there's no Vdroop https://wccftech.com/msi-intros-loadline-saturation-on-z790-motherboards-maxing-out-single-multi-core-performance-on-intel-cpus/ -

Evga use rotated socket for the Dark boards so I expect there is space for the tubes house. That's the main problem with this new AIO design. Arctic didn't bother put EVGA Intel boards on their compatibility list. Only their X570 Dark board https://support.arctic.de/lf3-compatibility Also MSI have limited model on the list. Loads of the lower end Intel boards have a place on the list. But I wouldn't trust this list. They failed with the compatibility list when the Z690 boards was released. Arctic is very glad in revisions numbers. I mean Freezer ll is up in v7 or 8 by now. Yup. The goal was to make the AIO more appealing to the consumers. Not for the best performance. Most people buy HW with their eyes. Not with their head or mind. -

Be aware of compatibility issues. I would hate have a tiny 3rd party heatsink that destroying the look and performance. Not the first time Arctic "offer" compatibility issues with Asus ROG boads. Also the Freezer ll had similar problems. But this new one can't be fixed as you could with the older gen AC Freezer coolers. https://support.arctic.de/lf3-m2modif Nice solution? Nope. This is etc with the Z790 Apex and Apex Encore. You need either remove it and get thermal throttling or put in a smaller less performing 3rd party M.2 heatsink from etc Arctic or from China. And with this awful looking solution you eeven have to remove the added memory cooler for Encore boards. Even if you don't use this useless Gen 5 M.2 slot it will look ugly. You can either replace the M.2 heatsink with a thinner heatsink or remove it completely. Who want to use this small thin flimsy 3rd party metal heat shield to cool their already overheating/throttling PCIe5.0 gen M.2 ssd's? Idiotic Engineers and corp ruin everything. Yep. I stand with what I have said before... I don't llike this new stupid design. -

The whole world is flooded with dishonesty. I will never determine my purchases on a few reviewers/influencers. I always do my own due dilligence. This because you can't trust them! Take for an example AMD. They try get rid of their older silicon/Gpus then want to dictate the retailers selling prices. If you want to sell it at a loss or at minimum profits... Why aren't you allowed to do so? Is it Nvidia, AMD and Intel that can determine what retail shops as etc Amazon can sell their products for? The free market doesn't work. AMD Taking Strict Action Against Retailers Selling Radeon RX 6750 GRE GPUs Below MSRP In China https://wccftech.com/amd-taking-strict-action-against-retailers-selling-radeon-rx-6750-gre-gpus-below-msrp-in-china/ China’s special graphics card RX 6750 GRE is too cheap! AMD takes action: fines, suspension of goods At the end of January, AMD issued an internal notice to AIB brand manufacturers and dealers, requiring that the prices of RX 6750 GRE 10/12GB must be strictly controlled, with the lowest prices being 2,149 yuan and 2,379 yuan respectively. Use whatever cheap DDR5 ram you have with 4K and 4080 Super priced cards. Maybe people/gamers can offset the 4080 Super prices going with cheap ram?😬 The fun part bro @Mr. Fox Old games take more advantage of the faster DDR5 sticks. At least in the sample from Jayz. In short... You can probably offset some of the disgusting Asus price premium, going with whatever cheap DDR5 ram you can get. Who said Asus 4080 Super flagship graphics cards was overpriced? HaHa. And isn't it weird that the reviewers don't bother reply when you call out their partners producing trash? Are they afraid for talking about their partners products in not a good lights / "in not a good way"? Will their profits sink or get less review units from partners? Whats the goal with reviews? Ads for their partners or help consumers buy the best products? -

Yup enjoy the 4090 consistency. Here's another but not so happy guy. But he play with Red fire. See from 6:42🤪 Is dips the same as crashing bro @electrosoft? Or does AMD offer both features? So double win for the Red team?😀 Also Nvidia screw the customers.... At least you get it a lot cheaper than the dippy 7900XTX card from AMD - From 7:03 and yees... Nvidia used the remaing defective silicon hence they castrated the card. What color do you get if you mix and match Red and Green? Brown like this mess from the little Thief? One thing for sure, I wouldn't dip into that. Neither would I dip into AMD😁 -

With more cuda cores you get slight diminishing returns for gaming and benchmarks. Nothing is put in stone as black and white. And the Cpu is normal the bottleneck for the flagship cards. We need faster CPUs. Want the best card for 4K and all the bling and lights you'll need 4090 or above. Not below. Not that 4080 Super isn't e good card but 4090 is a tier above. Both in price and performance. Etc 10% more cuda cores doesn't always mean 10% more performance. -

Papusan replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
Try compare graphics scores. Cpu doesn't add much into the scores for 3DMark Suite https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/41777052/spy/44793723 And TS isn't 4K. The lower resolution the lower advantage you get with the higher tier cards. https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/45773266/spy/43671620 Etc Path tracing in 4K is 4090 task. Not for the lower end SKUs. -

My main pick on this. The results ain't fantastic. And AC need a bracket to compete with the others. That's what I don't like. And yup.... New doesn't always mean better than the old. Need a custom bracket to come on par with the old is flawed. https://www.kitguru.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/13900K-Temp-1400rpm-fans-768x768.png https://www.kitguru.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Noise-768x768.png And to add more fuel to the fire... For me. I don't like round blocks or the ugly rounded corners in Windows 11. Hence I use a reg tweak to get back the nice looking square corners in my OS UI. You can't do that with the new fancy blingy AIO from Arctic😁 You are forced to accept what you don't like. And that don't fits me. -

I still don't understand the average 4090 scores (30k). That's wrong. Maybe for a half castrated Dell Alienware 4090 desktop card but not normal AIB cards. I mean I have never seen GPU score below 35.000 with stock GPU. Oc'd we see well above 41.000 in graphics score. And this with even the ECC memory trash Enabled. And that useless feature reduce scores and aren't even default settings in NCP. Only forced by hwbot. -

I have seen mixed results in reviews with the new AC Freezer III. And this doesn't make it much better.... If they can't make it working with normal mounting mecanism and need custom bracket then there is something wrong. Gamers Nexus' review of the Liquid Freezer III series reveals that Arctic is not only supplying its coolers with a dedicated contact frame and offset brackets, but it also requires either of them whether you are using the cooler on an Intel or AMD CPU. This means that Arctic is not supplying any sort of traditional mounting mechanism for LGA 1700 or AM4/AM5 as a backup; customers must use the company's own custom mounting mechanisms. Arctic's Liquid Freezer III coolers could void your CPU warranty — require a custom contact frame for Intel chips https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/liquid-cooling/arctics-liquid-freezer-iii-coolers-could-void-your-cpu-warranty-require-a-custom-contact-frame-for-intel-chips The air coller is meant for 600W heat load. -

Same with AMD. Nothing wrong with their GPU's build quality. But does that mean the product is flawless or good quality? Nope. Nothing is stronger than the weak link. You can have fantastic build quality but the product can still fail. NEWS Nightingale removes AMD's FSR 3 pre-launch for crashing too much A highly anticipated game scraps the AMD tech before release…and FSR 3 is still only available in a tiny amount of games. What's going on? See bolded text above😆 Congrats bro @tps3443 Looking good. Hope you'll be happy with the new card. Looking forwards to your findings 🙂 -

I never got answers bak on my reply when the video was posted on Youtube. I can clearly see the "paint on the wall". And it seems the influencers throw the problem under the carpet. And I posted about this in the forum when the video was up... This could be worse. +80% Asic and Samsung Vram. But if I remember correctly... The Gainward GTX570 card had Asic above 86% and Samsung Vram. Yup "all black" bro @electrosoft😁 I got a new Coffee machine for this Christmas. As usual I buy automatic machines with coffee grinder so I can make it the way I want. The machines with Coffee pads is more expensive in use. But the machines is cheaper. -

Yup. And this GPU have only 2 fans and a very small PCB and with less components than what we see from newer standards. The card is still close to 850 gram. And this huge GPU LID is damn expensive to repaste with Kryonaut Extreme😁 Die Size is 520 mm² but the GPU lid measure above 2000 mm². In short you need to apply close to 4 times more paste than needed. That's very expensive bro @tps3443 I wonder how much better temps have been without the lid. Probably 10-15C degrees colder. Yup. Norwegian pc shops want $105 USD for this little tiny bottle with paste +shipping. And I love that MSI didn't go the cheapo Stupid route as Asus did with their overpriced flagship cards as the Strix OC. Have never seen worse graphics card than the EVGA I have so the chances is slim it can be worse😃 Maybe wait with the order until you are sure you are happy with the card. For $1200 USD for a xx80 card ($800-850 tier card) you have to be sure you get the best of the best 🙂 Yees. I always try please the pict lover @electrosoft😁 I changed my mind. I will use <NTH-H2 for the new old. A lot cheaper than the Kryonaut Extreme. I'm cheapo as Asus? @electrosoftCan yoiu see something black?😁 Cleaned up --Looking good bro @Raiderman -
