I'll continue follow up this one 🙂 This rehashed Z790 Apex board is 30% higher priced than Z690 Apex. In short same motherboards as the Z690 Apex with some minor/minscule changes. Again.... Disgusting. And the inflation in prices the last two years have been sub 10%. Not the awful 30% price hike as Asus now want. Edit. Yup. I don't jump on 13900KS after giving my MB and 13900K to my oldest son. I'll jump right on 14900K once they are released here home. And I'll need a new motherboard. I have always some spare K5 lying in the shelves. And I don't want spend much money on the older cards applying thermal pads 🙂 Its an fast do it and the fits with K5 over pads is perfect every time. I would only use the more expensive pads on newer card. Not woth it for the old one. And I don't always have the correct pad size lying in the shelves, so...
