  1. Almost forgot this one. I finally bought an Heat/AC pump for this winter. In short , two birds with one stone. A real AC unit to pump cold air when the summer temps is awful and a real heat source when the winter cold start up in the fall. Paid slight above $3000 USD for the unit and with the mounting job. The pump will give 6 times feeeded power. The pump offer 7KW/h heat and about the same for the cooling capacity. If you etc feed it with 1KW/h power and you'll get 6KW/h back as heat/cold. The pump will pay itself within 7-8 years and afterwards with a lifespan of 15-20 year it should provide quite some profits due ongoing awful electricity prices forwards here home. Not sure what you pay for monthly electricity in U.S but we pay from $200-300 USD per months depending on outdoor temperatures. And for the pict lover bro Electro. The madam wanted some more lights in the livingroom. I could mount it if I picked the lamp color.... I put up the spot rail and of course the lamps colors was in All black. Even the dreaded darkness here up in the cold and stormy North matching all black, HaHa
  2. If you want the new 4080 Super maybe see if you can find 4080's cheaper than the coming "Super" disappointment. A measly wimpy 2.4% performance boost in benchmarks with faster vram and +5% more cores isn't exactly very exciting. And $999 is still all too much for xx80 tier cards. Yup, if you can find a custom 4080 AIB card below $899 vanilla Super this is probably the way to go. Or just see if you can find the 4080 Super FE at msrp. Paying premium for custom Super of this card is a massive waste of money. NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER tested: up to 2.4% faster in 3DMark, similar gaming performance to RTX 4080 Yup 0.0020% performance gain in 3DM Time Spy. And what with 3DM Port Royal? A huge 0.0109% performance jump. Nice. I have never seen such a small gen performance uplift from vanilla to Super from same SKU series cards. Maybe Nvidia also this time screwed up and made a buggy/messy firmware. Who knows. But this is shockingly bad if this results is real/correct. Almost identical FPS between the 4080 and the upcoming Super card. Yep, I hope the Chinese gamers being excited by this nvidia launch. Can't see it otherway than the castrated 4090D will sell well in China if the gamers want flagship card (4K) performance.
  3. AMD prepare for 4080 Super. What you see is probbaly max prices forwards. But you are sure you have peeked on the right AMD card? Isn't fancy colors more inline with the RGB trend nowadays?😁 Yup, it could be your Sugar baby, LOOL Bro Electro..... Jumping on the trend.
  4. LOOL. Who want Edge on their computers? At least people in EU will soon get some freedom from Microsof's madness. Microsoft Edge reportedly steals data from Chrome without user permission Taras Buria · 5 hours ago Microsoft Edge is in hot waters again for its controversial behavior. This time, users accuse the browser of stealing open tabs and other data from Google Chrome without permission.
  5. Dang, bro Fox. You may missing out from this tacky bundle with the Dragon coin. These LOOOOONG EDITION cards from Colorful is only for China. Maybe not the biggest problem if you really want a 2nd 4090. It's the castrated China version.... Dubbed D for Defective. Can't speak for others but I rather have bought a vanilla 4090 than the China version cards coming with the bundled Golden coin. I wonder how much extra the Chineese gamers have to pay for the Golden coin. The price for the Golden 4090 Disgusting card is close to $2200 USD. Colorful introduces GeForce RTX 40 GPUs and Z790 motherboard from “Loong Edition” series
  6. Microsoft use you as their unpaid guinea pig. See the whole video and you can clearly see why you shouldn't update your Windows before after minimum 1 week after the patch is released. Better wait 2 weeks to be sure you have all info before you run the update.

  8. To my good brother from another mother. Happy Birthday bro @Mr. Fox😍
  9. The elite/chosen one that get free top binned 4-dimm boards to help boost the sales of the brands products. Pair it with free top binned Cpu and Mem sticks and you are golden. The more I read about this new 2-dimm MB, the more I think MSI's reasoning for this move is damn flawed or idiotic. This new M-ATX 2-dimm board shouldn't be the successor for Z690 Unify-X. Or maybe this disgustingness is just yet another bad written article by Tomshardware. Read for yourself.... MSI already has the Z690 Unify and Z690 Unify-X for the overclocking segment "but never updated the motherboards for the Z790 chipset". Now, we know why. Classic MSI overclocking motherboard series returns with support for super-fast RAM What you think about the idea that all 2-dimm OC boards forwards has to be in M-ATX form-factor? Can you see how wrong MSI and Tomshardware's editor take on this topic? Is this the best idea MSI had to offer for oc'ers? Offer them OC boards meant for mini-PC's?
  10. What gamer need 4-dimms boards? You can get up to 96GB with only two sticks. And what gamer need more than half of that capacity aka more than 48GB ram? Lots of gamers go cheaper/inexpensive (see Steam survey) on HW. Why would they then max out ram capacity on 4 dim board? I could see the need for 4 dimms-board when 16GB was max for each of the sticks, but we aren't there anymore.
  11. Thanks. 3135-3240 depending on the benchmarks. 3240 fo shorter benches as GPU-Pi. Yup, 7900XTX offer more value than the overpriced 4070 Ti Super but I would skip both. None of they are tempting. And the price for the 4070 Ti Shhouldn't have exided $600 USD. That means $750 here home with the tax. This is prorobably because we now get higher ram capacity with two memory sticks. Expect more 2 dimm boards with the Z890 series chipset. A welcome move. Just reduce the prices and it looks much better. MSI MPOWER Series Returns With A New & Affordable Z790MPOWER Motherboard: Dual-DIMM, DDR5-8000+ MT/s Support At Just $199 https://wccftech.com/msi-z790mpower-motherboard-dual-dimm-ddr5-8000-mt-s-support-at-just-199-usd/ The MPower series was last seen in action during the Z170/Z270 era and that's almost 7 years back. Now, MSI is marking the return of the MPower series with a new and cost-effective Z790 product, the Z790MPOWER.
  12. Ungine Superposition 1080P Extreme - 4090 HOF🙂 Air cooled card within top 10. Not bad. https://hwbot.org/submission/5464429_papusan_unigine_superposition___1080p_xtreme_geforce_rtx_4090_27415_points?recalculate=true Edit. I don't like AMD products as this is said. But the 4070 Ti Super ain't much better choice. +$800 for xx70 tier card is awful. Radeon RX 7900 XTX: AMD's top model drops to 899 euros in MindStar. Mind you this is with 19% tax. This means the RX 7900 XTX cost $817 without tax or equal MSRP.
  13. Nvidia use the best binned chips for themself. And they use the lower performing coolers, so... But remeber the quality of the chips improve with time. Regarding bin quality. It's a lottery. The Asus Tuf loose 10MHz vs the flagship from Asus but offer better vram. And the other custom AIB cards is cheaper than the Asus Strix OC. But Asus binned the worst vram of they all for their flagship. So not the first time. Yup, nice paying premium for less. Is less more than more @ryan?😬
  14. Here's the right place if you see greed out of the ordinary. Netflix’s Cheapest Ad-Free Plan Is Disappearing As Streaming Revenue Skyrockets While Netflix is enjoying skyrocketing revenue, the company says it will be doing away with its cheapest ad-free plan. The streaming giant says it will begin its plan to remove the Netflix Basic subscription tier in the UK and Canada first, and then it will be “taking it from there.” In a shareholder memo, the company remarked that it had achieved its key financial objectives it set at the start of 2023. Those included exiting the year with 12% revenue growth, growing its FY23 operating margin to 21% from 18% in 2022, and increased free cash flow to $6.9 billion for 2023. However, it seems the streaming titan is not satisfied with those numbers, as it will be taking away its cheapest ad-free tier for existing customers later this year.
  15. YOU are spot on bro @Talon The best custom 4070 Ti Super cards offer only value for the AIB partners. Why spend almost xx80 prices on xx70 Ti Super cards? People have to be stupid if they jump on lower tier SKUs that cost $50 below the next tier cards. One of those smart ones replied on my reply. See below... You don't pay massive premium for low/mid tier custom cards.
  16. SSD's and flash prices increasing, but this is just dumb. Offer less for more is the modern trend I don't like. This one from Samsung is to be avoided. Samsung launches the 990 Evo SSDs – slower and more expensive than the 990 Pro The company's follow-up to the best-selling 970 Evo makes the leap to PCI Express 4.0, but offers rather subdued transfer speeds and confusing pricing. With scaled-down performance, the devices should move in a lower price range, but here something seems to have gone wrong in Samsung's marketing department. The recommended prices for the 990 Evo land at SEK 1,599 for the 1 TB model and SEK 2,599 for the 2 TB model, i.e. higher price tags "than the top models in the 990 Pro series". Whether Samsung chooses to lower the price in the future remains to be seen.
  17. Hmmm. What's the price for a Asus Rog Z790 4 dimm MB? +$700 ? Yet it failed vs the sub $250 board from Gigabyte. Yup, this board cost right now 1/3 of the Dark Hero. Hmmm. What are you paying Asus for? The Rog gaming brand logo? Or the extra added bios features? Oh'well. No board should cost more than $300 USD. And a special gaming brand sticker should never increase the prices.
  18. Why would you pay close to $950 for the Asus 4070Ti Super Strix OC ? And the 4080 Super is soon out on the market. Then we have the vanilla 4080 that has to go cheaper than the new Super cards. Wat's wrong with Asus @Mr. Fox ? Or is the problem on another place? In short the buying consumers? Not sure whats worst... Asus that is greedy or stupid buyers. We sent three emails to ASUS to find out the Strix pricing, but our emails got ignored, which means ASUS isn't willing to share that price point. I just checked Newegg and the card is like at $950, which is a $150 price increase over the MSRP—crazy. I can clearly see why they didn't want to respond to the emails. Because this is just disgusting. Measly $50 USD below the coming 4080 Super is perverse. Here home.... 1,023.47 United States Dollar without tax. With the obligatory 25% Norwegian tax we see an ugly 1,279.34 USD price tag for this Asus 4070TI Super card here home. Yup, has to be something very wrong with the consumers if they buy this Asus xx70 series card for the asking price. ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super Strix OC Review REVIEW GRAPHICS CARDS The ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super STRIX OC is equipped with the strongest cooler among all the cards we've tested. It features a dual BIOS with quiet mode, a second HDMI port and a substantial factory overclock, but does come with a pretty high price tag.
  19. Can't you use something similar to this? Feed ir from the PCI_E3 Gen PCIe 4.0 that supports up to x4 (From Chipset). https://www.fruugo.fr/m2-sata-to-pcie-adapter-card-dual-disk-card-raid-expansion-card-pciex1-to-ngff-m2-sata6g-riser-car/p-194839176-415450609?language=en Or use a case like this
  20. Yup, if you can keep up the prices to max your profits increase as well. Nvidia's CEO Jensen ain't much different than the CEO for HP. HP CEO justifies blocking third-party ink cartridges by claiming they can inject malware Edit. Nice.... The new Super boat from Zotac for $1400. That's $400 premium. Or $200 below the vanilla 4090's orginal MSRP. AMP Extreme AIRO priced at $1,399.99, excluding state tax. This pricing strategy suggests a confident stance from Zotac, especially when compared to the higher-tier GeForce RTX 4090 and potential offerings from competitors like ASUS's ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 Super. https://www.guru3d.com/story/zotac-lists-geforce-rtx-4080-super-models-ahead-of-schedule-on-amazon/ Not even the 3rd vbios version in a row for the Msi 4070 Ti Super Ventus X3 probably won't fix it fully. Hmmm. The big question, however, is how many of the first buyers of this card will know about the problem and therefore will do the update. However, if a problem of this type occurs shortly before the market launch, there is hardly any possibility of correction. Not selling the model would be the only option. https://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.php/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/62759-mehr-speicher-zum-gleichen-preis-die-geforce-rtx-4070-ti-super-im-test.html
  21. No one know EVGA flooded China with special PSUs designed only for mining. No one should know it because EVGA was a gamer brand. And no in hell I would trust Nvidia and their partners in regions near close to China that still isn't banned. Nvidia walk their own ways if increased profits is possible. Yup, gaming is still a part of nvidia.... Because they need to get rid of the cut down silicon. You can't use AD103/104 silicon for etc AI servers. No one would pay extra for that. See also https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/tech-news-nvidia-unveils-special-edition-rtx-5880-ada-china--rqjwc?trk=article-ssr-frontend-pulse_more-articles_related-content-card#:~:text=The NVIDIA RTX 5880 Ada,core with 48GB of VRAM. https://www.smbom.com/news/13080?trk=article-ssr-frontend-pulse_little-text-block In the specifications realm, the NVIDIA RTX 5880 Ada boasts a streamlined AD102 GPU core, featuring 14,080 CUDA cores and 440 Tensor cores. This represents a 22% reduction in core count compared to its counterpart, the RTX 6000 Ada. Operating at a core frequency of approximately 2.5 GHz, it delivers 69.3 TFLOPs of FP32 computing power and 1108 TFLOPs of Tensor performance. Notably, FP32 and Tensor core performance registers a 24% decrease compared to the RTX 6000 Ada. Edit. If it wasn't for AI we would have seen 4080Ti cards at $1399 from AD102 by now.
  22. According to my aacount of purchase/return statistics... (4090 Suprime X). The price has gone up by 295.23 USD. Yep the Norwegian retail have ok stock of cards but they are all 10-18% higher priced than summer 2023. None of they follow MSRP anymore. Yes, the currency is volatile (NOK vs $) but prices are still much higher than they were. Nvidia sell cut down AD102 chips for China and AI/workstation cards. And I expect Nvidia also cut down fully working chips with intent only to grab higher prices than they can get for 4090 gamer cards. If they can profits from cutting down fully working AD102 dies for 4090's then they will do that. If they can't sell fully working AD102 chips to China then they will cut them to fit.
  23. AD102 chips going into AI and workstation cards. And loads of them going into China from other countries. And U.S government can’t do anything about this. This way nvidia can also help to keep prices well above MSRP. NVIDIA and their partners is the real scalpers. We may see if Nvidia offer low stock of the 4080 Super.
  24. I'm quite sure Nvidia messed up this launch. And there is no FE model so.......... In terms of ROP count you're now getting 96 (this is the correct number, I confirmed with NVIDIA, 112 is a typo in the reviewer's guide), which is a 20% increase over the 80 ROPs on 4070 Ti. The RTX 4080 is still expected to be significantly faster, mostly thanks to its 9728 GPU cores, larger cache and 112 ROPs. With the new BIOS the performance is very close to the other MSRP cards, but still around 1% lower. While it's impossible to notice subjectively, it's still there, but considering how quickly NVIDIA and MSI pushed out BIOS updates, I'm sure that there will be more updates down the road. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/msi-geforce-rtx-4070-ti-super-ventus-3x/44.html Performance vs the price... No doubt. But Nvidia messed up. No xx70 cards whatever it contains the Ti, Super or the Ti Super branding should cost +$799. It's perverse. Or better say.....
