Probably 60mv worse than your KS. Or equal 1-2 bin lower possible OC headroom for me. But benching from 6.0GHz up to 6.5GHz depending on benchmarks in 2D and 3D. It's SP94 with 102P-cores. It does it's job but with too much voltage. And its' not an MC lottery winner either as @electrosoft nicely point out. MC-SP74. Tragic. But again... My benchmarks is still in the upper end vs those compete with golden samples. I'ts not about the tool but how you use it🙂 Most of my benchmark scores is quite nice and are up in the upper end. EK... 3 times more. I guess I will try get a BCLK button hardware tool. Better than use this half baked Asus software mess. Will you ask for replacement for the dead Cpu? At least the MB survived. That's better than nothing I guess. The sad part... There ain't much options for OC motherboards. Most sucks. I hope we see more 2 dimm board for next gen. Maybe MSI will come up with an equal as the Unfy-X and not this new 2 dimm baby OC boards for baby PC boxes. GTX970 (forgot add screenshoot of 3DM11 Extreme for Hwbot. That would be 4th place). Oh'well, I get a new chance 🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5481425_papusan_3dmark11___entry_geforce_gtx_970_33907_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5481429_papusan_3dmark___cloud_gate_geforce_gtx_970_69697_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5481444_papusan_unigine_superposition___1080p_xtreme_geforce_gtx_970_2727_points?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5481441_papusan_3dmark___time_spy_extreme_geforce_gtx_970_2365_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5481434_papusan_3dmark___time_spy_geforce_gtx_970_5146_marks?recalculate=true -

Hmmm☹️ Very sorry bro Fox. Maybe there is something into this Asus Turbo Vcore killed my Z690 Asus Apex and 12900k Edit. Didn't see you have already posted the link. I only use it for changing BCLK. And Asus TurboVcore is buggy as well. Edit. GTX 970 https://hwbot.org/submission/5481410_papusan_3dmark11___performance_geforce_gtx_970_21495_marks?recalculate=true -

Regarding the massive power consumption I think different AC/DC loadline values play some role into this. I mean the power consumption may being somewhat scewed. For the pict lover @electrosoft😀. A new baby on the way to Papusan's plaza. The N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC. Or GTX 570. This will be my replacement card for my dead GTX570 (my hobby you know🤪). This MSI nvidia card offer Vcore (+150mV), Memory (+50mV) and Aux voltage (+30mV). This is not what you see nowadays. Is old better than new bro @ryan😁 Look at the beauty here.... https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=289263887&ci=8 Edit. The card was GTX 560 Ti TwinFrozr lll. The seller didn't know waht he sold😁 -

From what I saw. He also run with iGPU graphics that will add some heat and power to the final results🙂 And Cinebench and OCCT isn't same test Todays joke? Nvidia... Not much love for 20xx series RTX cards. The paying guinea pigs for first gen RTX pushed down the drain for now. Nvidia didn't even bother mention 2000 series RTX. Hmmm, just lovely. Not sure. But one of the stress tests in OCCT. You run it at default voltage but with increased clocks? Like apples vs apples. https://wccftech.com/intel-core-i9-14900ks-cpu-leak-up-to-6-2-ghz-clock-100c-temps-400w-power/ Increassed TDP but with exactly same base clock as 14900K. Not the same as going from 13900K up to 13900KS. Whats the point with the higher 150W TDP for base clock when the same clock speed is reached with 14900K at 125W ? Hmm -

Papusan replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
I can't see the big problem here. An oc'd 14900K running same clocks will draw more power. The only cost I can see is higher prices😂 Damn. I have seen above 700W benching my 4090. So the Cpus still lags behind regarding power consumption. So still untapped headroom for more performance from the CPU, HaHa But this Cpu won't make your games run with much higher FPS. Even an 14600K can do the tasks. Yup, this Inntel Cpu won't make the big differences vs the no overclockable X3D chips from AMD for 40-50% lower prices. -

Could be Intel need a stopgap because 15th series may come a bit later than expected. Hence so late to the party. We are now soon into middle Feb. Binning enough chips takes time. Intel Core i9-14900KS alleged benchmarks leak -

EVGA wasn't much better when they in the quiet sold new designed mining PSUs behind the gamers back. And only god knows how many GPUs they sold to miners. The whole tech business is rotten. None of the brand is better than the other. They are all scummy. EVGA's 6-GPU PSU For Mining Will Fuel Your Hate...... -

I FIX IT FOR YOU. And you can overclock the Super as well. Bam, done😁 And what will you pay for a custom 4080 flagship ? $1200? I doub't you find a custom 4080 as @tps3443 want below $1100. And pay more than $1000 for 4080 regardless if its a flagship is stupid. Better wait. -
Does it really matter what Microsoft naming the OS? You all know what you get from Redmond. A re-branded old OS containing code from two decades ago. They just add new lipstick on the same old pig. Microsoft's upcoming change could block off Windows 11 CPU requirements bypass on old PCs Microsoft is reportedly updating the CPU instruction support on Windows 11 with a new "POPCOUNT" instruction, which means systems with very old PCs won't be able to bypass requirements.

Microsoft bragging about new features. Of course they don't want to mention their older OS. Can't do that. Because they want you on the new and buggy. Despite nothing official from Microsoft, Sudo already working on Windows 10 an Windows 7 Microsoft released Sudo for Windows recently to Insiders on the Windows 11 Dev and Canary channels. While the feature is supposed to work on 11, users have figured out it runs on Windows 10 and 7 too. If I got a used 4090 for $1200 here home I have called it a fraud or scam. I wonder how many 4090's Cablemod need to send to repair. Only 2 weeks from now and people won't get money back for their fried 4090's. But one thing will they get.... No more warranty for their graphics cards. It's called payback time. Probably not what they hoped for. Adapter Melted in my 4090 -

Then we are two😀 I have had Gigabyte 1070 that went into hardware heaven. But not because of PCB crack. Maybe because it was Gigabyte or my hobby?😆 I even have a Gigabyte board. So this means I has to be an double idiot, LOOL Regarding flow rate. It will be lower regardless of how cold you run it if you use automotive antifreeze premix. Nothing beat pure water for flow rate. I as well use antifreeze... But not much in the coolant mix. -
*Official Benchmark Thread* - Post it here or it didn't happen :D
Papusan replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Desktop Hardware
Nice systems bro Fox. But regarding the flow rate.... I expect the chiller run colder.... Aka lower temps will reduce flow rate. Same also if you use different coolant for them. Can you confirm you use exactly same coolant? Regarding idiot factor. What you in short say.... Idiots buying Gigabyte. Not as easy.... Gigabyte made trash PCB design before this new change. That's the facts. Put up 1000 cards. 50% with Gigabyte and 50% with another brand. The outcome will still show that more Gigabyte cards get cracks due idiot PCB design. Not because only idiots buy Gigabyte😎 Isn't that idiotic? Same also with FE cards. PCB is designed with same weird shape. Maybe less cards sold (or lower weight in combination with a shorter card) can help Nvidia fix less cracked cards. Or they sell their FE cards to less idiots😆 Yup, Gigabyte was able to see for themself that their own idiot GPU PCB design pushed away former buyers after they being screwed with cracked cards. Good repair youtube videos floding also helped push Gigabyte in the right direction. A big win win for idiots? Or for Gigabyte? Could be for both 🙂 -

When you buy a house, you always have something to spend money on. On the house and inventory, LOOL I just replaced the sewage system... And installed a new electrical system late last year. Only $13.5000 USD. Then we bought the heater/AC unit right before Christmas at +$3000. This year there will be a new sliding balcony door. Only $5000. So the 4090s seems damn cheap in comparison, HaHa The new will become old, and you must renew it with time (your house/apartment and your tech). I bought my house we live in 1992 and only god know how much I have spent on it the last 3 decades. Most of the 4080 Super MSRP cards will float your boat with a waterblock and chiller. We have still access to X-flashing and lower GPU temps will still benefit 4000 series cards. Pay much more than MSRP is silly when you know the xx80 cards should never have costed more than $800-899 USD. Ordered 2x 12VHPWR cables. And they are on the way. The beQuiet 12VHPWR cables is half the price vs the 12VHPWR cables from Corsair😎 And all the other brands 12VHPWR cables is from 50-100% more expensive. I paid $15 USD for each of the cables without tax. So $30.10 for two + the Norwegian tax. And heres the thing. You pay double the price for this ugly 4-way pigtail adapter. That's perverse.
