Will be fun to see if they lift the ban for unlimited vram overclock for their power limit castrated 5000 series cards. Nvidia have still not fixed the voltage cap added in the drivers for Maxwell the last 3 years. -

$100 USD too much. AMD and their partners want a bite of the cake. I wonder how much extra AIB partners can charge extra due AMD won't make own cards. RX 9070 XT starting at $699. No mid range card should cost $700 USD. And cheaper and slower GDDR6 vram modules shouldn't offer price premium. Rather the opposite. https://videocardz.com/newz/microcenter-lists-radeon-rx-9070-series-rx-9070-xt-starting-at-699-rx-9070-at-649 -

The main problem... This mess won't be only for electronics and silicon trash. What can't be fixed won't be fixed. That's facts. You can't make a living cutting your neighbor's hair. And less you have the less you can buy. In the end the circle will start all over again. Push works over to those that can make it cheaper. Sad seeing what direction Framework goes... More trash created. More Electronic waste (e-waste). Framework's First Mini Desktop Is A Ryzen AI Max Powered Console Killer -

Yup, some will suffer thats for sure. And mostly those with less than others. We see it here home. And we will see it other places. Poverty will Increase. And many will only get the bare minimum to survive. Much of the produced goods will go to the people that have a easier life. And that's life. Greed will always be the driving factor. Whatever if the goods is produced home or abroad. Buy homemade products will always be more expensive... And that will drive up inflation and prices. Always. I look at you... Norway. Disgusting. -

One thing for sure... Moving production of pc/data electronics over to US will increase the prices. Heavly. What @electrosoft posted below will only be the beginning of the price spirale forwards. Good luck being an computer nerd/enthusiasts. The inflation will increase. That's for sure. Sad to see prices going the wrong way in "cheaper countries to live" and being at the same level as here at home in one of the world's most expensive countries to live in. We in Norway can barely handle it because of our high salaries. Those with less income will struggle buy anything. -

Not sure where Wccftech got this from but this wouldn't surprise me at all. With everything we have seen from Intel.... AMD etc, everything is possible with new modern tech. It seems like RTX Blackwell is experiencing silicon degradation, which means that over a period of time, we might see several SKUs pop up with missing ROPs or something even more significant, depending upon the actual issue with NVIDIA's silicon. https://wccftech.com/nvidia-confirms-missing-rop-issue-across-all-rtx-50-series-gpus/ -

No need update nvidia drivers for older gen cards the coming 2 months. Nvidia's main focus from now is on 5000 series blackwell blackscreen cards. Nvidia 572 new drivers see increased number of RTX 30 and above users report black screens NVIDIA admits: yeah sorry, our new GeForce RTX 5080 has missing ROPs as well More SKUs affected, but nvidia say still same low failure rate, LOOL Here is another one to avoid @electrosoft +$4450 for Razer-book with 5090. For a gaming Jokebook. This is perverse. Yup, for US citizens (ASUS gives gamers in the US a fair chance). And keep all the profits is just the way Asus really want it to be. -

Asus start offer their "fanboys" great deals. No scalping price on top their already sky-high inflated prices. Nice. Hmmm. Does this means Asus won't push the prices further up in US ? Only in other regions of the world? Isn't their ROG cards already 50% above MSRP? I don't grasp it. 50% inflated is still inflated prices. Maybe I'm wrong? ASUS gives gamers in the US a fair chance to purchase a GeForce RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 'No scalping, no inflated prices, just a fair shot at cutting-edge performance,' ROG Elite Members to be given a chance to buy a GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU. -

Not a shocker from GN😁 He call it what it is. Almost 1/2 hour with ranting. And he is spot on. And the modern tech trend continue. Now it's AMD in the spotlight. With their Ryzen (X3D) processors. Right in time before the bigger brothers is about to launch. https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-7-9800x3d-now-experiencing-widespread-cpu-failure-incidents/ For now, AMD has acknowledged the problem, but Team Red has yet to make an official statement. It isn't confirmed whether the DOA issue exists for many SKUs in the market, but the affected units are indeed in decent numbers Asus need some sales. You won't find the newer gen cards available, so Asus are very happy to help you out. With cards released in 2021. Most laptop manufacturers include smart-charging options inside their utility applications, like MyAsus or the Lenovo Vantage application. Microsoft uses the bare-bones Surface app to control that feature, so I opened it up to make a quick fix. And what you think I saw there? Unblockable ads within Windows. Nice to have🤢 -

Nvidia knew about it... A long time time. Nvidia is an American multinational corporation and technology company. Their etics is trash. NVIDIA confirms 0.5% of RTX 5090(D) and RTX 5070 Ti were shipped with fewer ROPs NVIDIA has just issued a statement on something that we reported yesterday. Only after a report from TechPowerUP, who discovered an anomaly in product specs, did the company decide to confirm that there was indeed a production issue. Here is another US company with same trashy/questionable etics .... Meta defends using pirated material, claims it's legal. And Mr. Musk. He should be jailed for the same. Both Suckerman and Musk should be jailed. There is only one place for such CEOs. -

Asus cater to their audience. Please tell me if this works when/if you buy one bro @Mr. Fox😁 You get it in two different SKUs. Maybe buy both for the sake of variety🤮 Yup, Asus know exactly what modern PC users want. ASUS Releases A Fragrance Mouse So You Can Stop And Smell The Roses ASUS isn't pitching its Fragrance Mouse as a rodent for gamers, and instead is taking bigger aim at the lifestyle market. The press release makes no mention of price or when exactly this will be available to purchase (I looked and didn't see it listed at Amazon or Best Buy), but when it does become available, it will be offered in both Iridescent White and Rose Clay colorways. -

Nice be the lucky one getting new cards. Return to sender then you need to "return back to the the queue" and hope you get new card within next 16 weeks. Maybe you get lucky a second time? What next? NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Spotted with Missing ROPs, Performance Loss Confirmed Exclusive Updated Today, 11:42 Updated: Today TechPowerUp has discovered that there are NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards in retail circulation that come with too few render units, which lowers performance. Zotac's GeForce RTX 5090 Solid comes with fewer ROPs than it should—168 are enabled, instead of the 176 that are part of the RTX 5090 specifications. This loss of 8 ROPs has a small, but noticeable impact on performance. During recent testing, we noticed our Zotac RTX 5090 Solid sample underperformed slightly, falling behind even the NVIDIA RTX 5090 Founders Edition card. At the time we didn't pay attention to the ROP count that TechPowerUp GPU-Z was reporting, and instead spent time looking for other reasons, like clocks, power, cooling, etc. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/some-rtx-5090s-are-shipping-with-missing-rop-units-leading-to-less-gaming-performance-report Nvidia have a lot work foreards with their brand new tech.... And it seems worse than ever. Shortage is only a small part of this awful release. -

From what I see... Asus increased the prices for the 5090's upwards after the tax was preached (Astral went up quite a lot) and that is reflected in the Asus estore prices. Then expect the higher prices also should be included for the lower end SKUs. Maybe I'm wrong. But I think the prices is with the preliminary tax on Asus estore. So MC should be on same level.
