  1. What memory KIT is recommended for the Clevo X170SM-G laptop? At least 2x32GB DDR4 3200MHz.
  2. Got the GPU small OC. 🙂 Using an HDMI 2.1 cable. But now I will watch it (after starting a new computer) with an mDP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 cable. TV is LG OLED TV (Gaming) 4K 120Hz G-Sync 1MS (it has 4x HDMI 2.1 ports)... The temperature is high because the fan is also running at idle speed. I will connect the water system and then the temperature will be good. According to the factory spec, the CPU heats up well...that's it. 🙂 I will try +180 / 720 when the water system is also connected to it.
  3. The machine has G-Sync again (mDP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 cable is not connected) and today I switched to HDMI and apparently everything was fine at 1440p @ 120Hz. 4K can also be set at 120Hz and there is G-Sync on the TV as well. However, if I set it to that, the image starts flashing as you can see in the video. Even if I reset (during the big flickering) the image to 1440p @ 120Hz, the flickering remains! Could this be a software or hardware error? Or an HDMI port? The OC is ready and easy to use! It is true that the CPU temperature is quite high, but if it is left at the factory value and used with air cooling, this is normal. ☝️🤭😆 Brings it close to the factory (165W) performance.✌️🍾 Shall I pull on it a little more?🤔🙃
  4. I started to be happy!🤭🙃
  5. It's been available for a long time, but you have to get it!☝️🤭
  6. RTX 3080 - More Power ☝️🤗
  7. How can the RTX 3080 be pulled? What is the optimal OC that can be given to him? Of course, you have to test it, but I'm interested in the average value. Thanks!
  8. Okay. I'm not kidding. I will check the HDMI connector. I didn't want to switch the TV yet, because I'm afraid of flickering and blue screen and restart. All settings are default, factory values. Yes, the display has G-Sync.☝️ I thank you for that!✌️
  9. 🙂 Full Default Setup/Specs. I also noticed that the rear RGB LED strip on the zTecpc machine can only be turned off when the program is open and active on the screen. If I put it on the tray, it turns on. Could this be a bug?!? What guarantees the +15W Boost value? I'm curious about that.🙂🤔
  10. You will laugh, but I just turned on the zTecpc X170 and did not connect the mDP cable and the HDMI cable carefully (watching the lower sensors - I will test this later!) and the laptop display shows G-Sync / 144Hz again but the 150W GPU TDP max. 😄 The +15W GPU Boost is missing... I installed MSI AB but I didn't see the option to turn off the power limit there. (how is it available - I read that 15W Boost was available to someone) I tried nV Control Panel / 3D settings / Power management mode / Normal --> Maximum (but no change, 150W max. TDP)
  11. Exactly. I haven't looked or tried that. 4K/120Hz was connected to the HDMI 2.1 port on the RTX 3090 card. 😉
  12. Yes, 4K 60 is fine, but 4K 120 is not. HDMI port is only 2.0 and mPD 1.4 port. In the case of mDP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1, you should know 4K/120Hz, but you don't. (watched) There was a time when I looked at an external ThunderBolt 3 eGPU (Gigabyte Aorus Gaming Box RTX 3090) and it was capable of 4K/120Hz (the card already had HDMI 2.1 from the factory)
  13. Yes! I am absolutely right. Unfortunately, I didn't even think of that, another (PCS) X170 has Macrium Reflect 😛 If there is nothing else, I can reset the system (because there is no reset point) or rather "reset" and that is faster (or not) But this HDMI problem also bothers me! I checked and there are 2 legs on each side that do not stand (only the end) and I would rather call them worn. Now I cleaned it with alcohol and scrubbed it with a small brush, I hope it was just a contact error...if not, then the HDMI connector must be replaced!🤔 VIDEO
  14. Yes, I used DDU for the full driver deletion. I re put that driver with the NVClean program, but it is not complete because it does not have the specific 3080 card on your list...so it is not complete! BIOS was set to default at the beginning and left it. You know, when one day a little bit of something and everything starts to mix. Especially if you don't get from one to two, you only have one place. There is no worse!😁😑 You have to find a solution to this problem, otherwise the machine would just be a discarded money that wouldn't make happiness like that!🥺
  15. I also had a G-Sync, but it disappeared...I played with HDMI 2.1 and MDP 1.4 ports and since then it hasn't, and this hdmi port is not very good on the laptop. 😩
  16. By now, this is a bit much! 😩 All my respect is yours, seriously! ✌️ Then maybe I'll try it.😉
  17. Now, with a direct DDU, I covered the NV driver (Full) and reinstalled it in reduced mode and no G-Sync. But I can't specify the card ID at NVClean because it's not in the list so I can't choose it. I rewrite the INF file in vain because the installation fails. Then what is the solution?🤗
  18. Now I only use the laptop display and no G-Sync. There was a machine restart, no G-Sync. (this feature has disappeared) 😗
  19. There was a G-Sync on the laptop display, but it disappeared!? How!?😄🙂
  20. New 3DMark Bench 🙂 "Optimal" (Default) to CPU and GPU (mode) TimeSpy Normal or Extreme? 😛
  21. Video I don't know how it is, but with HDMI 2.1 cable, the 4K 120Hz G-Sync (HDMI 2.1) had a G-Sync on TV, but the image blinks while connecting. MDP 1.4 to hdmi 2.1 cable is not g-sync, can it be because of the "bad" HDMI connector? It started again after a couple of blinking ... (Could be a contact error!?) 3DMark Steel Nomad test (no G-Sync, no 165W TDP...) mDP 1.4 port was used. Machine (my own display) has G-Sync I should see, there may be gpu boost (+15W) ???🤗😂
  22. Thanks!🙏 I chose and left that time because it was not good when rewritten. Written at 7714 was not good, so the 7715 remained.💪 G-Sync and 165W TDP is OK! 😊
  23. Yes! The picture also features blade fans of such density and that's why I dared to order it directly...but it was a big mistake! Aliexpress: LINK Seller only wrote back "new" 🤗 It's not! It comes from a demolished machine ... and not what is in the picture.
  24. Unfortunately, I can't do it all the time because this hardware is not on the list, so it is not optional.😑 Thank you for you too! 😄
