We have one of those fancy shmancy curved uber expensive Samsung tv monitors at work to display the 4k output of our tv boxes. Is 4k noticeable? yes when you are a ft or 2 away from the set, once you are back 6-8 where most people view it, NOPE. Marketing is a hell of a drug!

Are you using a Mac or Pc? it's doable both ways, but you have to make the drive to get it to work if you are using a PC. On the Mac side, paralells now works on apple silicon for windows. I will be taking advantage of this when I get my macbook pro.

Painting cars, bikes and other motorsports items is my forte, powder and ceramic coating as well. I am just wondering if they do the same for pc. Bring it to the auto parts place, scan the color and mix a rattle can.

To the painters here, how do you color match paint for your laptops? I received a new bottom tray for my dell which I cracked taking it off. It's a completely different color, like they forgot to paint it. Do you just bring it to an auto shop and have them mix a can for you?

Yeah, I am down with anything beer or whisky (single malt and others). We plan our husband and wife trips around breweries, distilleries and wineries. Ha ha. We are not allowed in Grow houses, or we would visit them too. In Canada, the pandemic opened up our beer and wine aquisition abilities. They allowed product to cross provincial borders without restriction. Great for us who love products not available at the local stores. I love our east coast breweries. 2 crows is our favorite. Spindrift, garrison, pei brewing for Atlantic Canada. split rock, boomstick, western newfoundland brewing company and port Rexton for really good beer on the island of Newfoundland! Since I am trying to get around 50 lbs off me I am cutting back on the beverages and drinking flavored water for a while

The biggest trend I wish would go away is the move to 2 USB - C ports and that's it. I purposely purchased my system because it had the ports I need, which seem to be going away. Meaning I have to carry a USB C dock, a card reader, a HDMI hub, etc to do the same I can do with my current system...Counter intuitive imo.

I am wondering is there an egpu enclosure that also has a slot for HDD storage as well? this would be great for my use for content creation on the road in hotels and cottages. I could hook up to the egpu with my notebook and have much more power for resolve. Then store on a nice large HDD in the enclosure.

The green label is their new strong blonde. 10%. It's really good. I am a beer connoisseur. I have had over 500 different beers over the past ten years. I have purchased bottles that were over 200 dollars (sam adams utopias). Duval is our all time favorite beer with 2 crows Pollyanna coming in a close second! As for the cloud producing stuff, I am a total newbie to that, but I have tried about 30 to 40 different strains already with some great and some a huge let down. Ha ha.

Well, on the menu tonight was 2 Chimay beers, a green label and white...After that two full runs with Low tide strain in the vape. Sitting here now with a great amazing high. Watching Jeff Healey videos!

I have a second 14" touchscreen I use for editing on the road, and put it below my two 24 inch monitors when home for putting tools on for editing at my workstation. They are great to have!

I would never buy an asus product. I had terrible service from them in the past where they did not honor their included warranty. I purchased three devices at the same time for our business, and all three failed in the same fashion within 3 months of ownership and they told me to get bent. Said it was not their fault. I start reading and everyone who purchased the same device had the same issue of the screen failing within 3-6 months and asus not honoring their warranty. So even if their machine was 2 times as fast as the fastest notebook and pooped gold nuggets every 20 mins, I would not buy one. Hp, dell and Acer all honor warranty without issue and are great to deal with. I had to get one dell, one acer and 4 hp notebooks replaced under warranty. The acer and dell were for physical damage and they honored no questions asked. The Hp was the same DV 9000 system that had the flaky motherboard, kept replacing them, but they kept breaking...but they did keep replacing them even after the warranty period!
