    I had also problems with shut down but my Clevo 775tm1 don’t cut of power just shut down immediately (like I was hitting the power button)with windows so my hard drives was not rip 😄 it was very annoying…could not fix the problem sadly…it was only on i9-9900k(-100 undervot)paired with 200w Vbios gtx 1080 and double 330w with y adapter…on i7 8700k everything was fine… Mostly on heavy games like star citizen…I had no problems with power Button or windows so 😅

    but even you can put this mxm 3.0b rtx cards on 775....as far i know from back them with my experiments with gtx 880M / 965M / 970M / 980M/ 1060 with a self modded (actually bad) heatsink the cards always was stuck on 405Mhz core and memory (sometimes only core) regardless wich power mode, drivers(inv modded) etc..with dsanke bios... i could not fix this 405MHZ problem so i gaved it up the project 😞

    i wished there was 900 series heatsink for 775 series for mxm 3.1b support but could not find any sadly 😞

    I wished this modification was also possible on the p775 but of course not much space available as 870 😞 😞 i used the adt mxm adapter time ago but it was not comfortable with the long cable plus the psu conntected to gpu...

    As far i experimented with my 775dm3 time ago with a custom modded heatsink mxm 3.1b 1060m,1070m 980m,970m,965m worked perfectly, 880m and 870m needed inf mod you cannot go lower because lower cards have no edp support also amd cards can only work when you disable a certain temp sensor or something...it you put a adt mxm to pcie 16x adapter then all desktop cards(nvidia,amd) are working without any problems no inf,mods stuff needed just plug in play..even i tried a nvidia gt210 and celeron g3900t 🤣

    Hey everyone after wasting so much time i need for a help because of a laptop that i got very cheap recently.. i tought could be a good upgrade ( i7 1200h/rtx 3060) to my clevo with i7 7gen and 1060 right now.... its in very good working condition....According to the seller, the RTX 3060 simply disappeared the next day without warning... so i tought mybe because of bios/vbios....mainboard looks very clean and good wihtout any sign of short circuits... only intel gpu is visible on device manager...i tried to find the mux swich on bios but no luck...of course i did every resets possible.... Apart from this problem, the laptop works without any problems in Windows etc.... I've heard that it can also be hardware related, that a diode/capacitor of the dgpu can be defective How is it possible that the GPU could simply disappear? I have already seen defective notebooks with a mux switch where the dGPU is visible, even it was also defective.... My only chance was to flash new bios/vbios with programmer but could not find any in www 😞 Hope someone could help me out

    You need at least a 900 series nvidia gpus to get picture... I experimented long time with older gpu support + you need to modify the heatsink as I did for the 775 series

    Hey very interesting project you doing but how the hell you installed xeno cpus?? I tough it was not possible on clevo laptop....I wanted yo istall one on my 775 but they said it will not work for a reason 🤔

    I am still thinking to buy the 4050 for test purposes 🤔 but let see how it goes 😀 I also wanted to buy the rtx 3080 from ebay...the seller still has 50 available 😅...I don't know where did this guy got all this cards from 🤣 But I am trying to find a seperate 3000 series heatsink for the 775 series but no luck on aliexpress so far...

    the RTX 4060 GPU is aviable for $360.00.... but I don't know if it would work on my 775dm3 otherwise i would have ordered it immediately. also this cards are very interesting upgrades for the clevo 77xdm1 series honestly 😄

    thats sounds great buddy lets see how it goes....it would be very interesting upgrade for the clevo laptops 😄 it shows that it is possible to design your own custom board...I wonder why no Chinese company has made MXM boards to sell in on ebay so far...I mean, take MXM 3.0/1 and put 4060/70 on it with external power connection with custom bios and sell it....there are also custom Chinese (some are fake of course) PC graphics cards as new.... its seems out of stock for now 😞

    Hey everyone I found a gaming pc that had a normal mxm rtx 4060 module built in. its called Megamini G1 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1906688106/megamini-g1-water-cooling-gaming-mini-pc?lang=de Found then i video from the german cannel HardwareDealz where you can see the MXM Module from the 4060... I know that there are embedded modules but I didn't know that there are consumer cards aviable.. Does anyone have any information about this GPU? Or can you buy one somewhere? I'm not talking about the expensive embedded mxm cards 😄
