Mr. Fox
So, I got another nice 10900K sample today. My daily driver was 53x core, 50x cache with 1.375V. I set this in the socket and dropped the voltage from 1.375V to 1.300V, pressed F10 and booted to desktop. No other changes, just made that one change. Passed CBR20 with fliying colors, so I will have fun seeing if I just guessed perfectly on the first try, or I can go lower. This is no chilled water. KPX paste. First run with no other tweaking or testing. My office is 77.8°F. 3 Wraith // Z790 Apex | 14900KS | 4090 Suprim X+Byksi Block | 48GB DDR5-8600 | Toughpower GF3 1650W | MO-RA3 360 | Hailea HC-500A || O11D XL EVO Banshee // X870E Carbon | 9950X | 4090 Gaming OC+Alphacool Block | 32GB DDR5-8200 | RM1200x SHIFT | XT45 1080 Nova || Antec C8 Spectre // Z790i Edge | 13900KS | 3090 Ti FTW3 | 32GB DDR5-8200 | RM1000e | EK Nucleus CR360 Direct Die || Prime A21 Half-Breed // Dell Precision 7720 | BGA CPU Filth+MXM Quadro P5000 | 4K Display | Sub-$500 Grade A Refurb | Nothing to Write Home About Mr. Fox YouTube Channel | Mr. Fox @ HWBOT The average response time for a 911 call is 10 minutes. Paying $100 more for something I would prefer rather than settling for something less bears some level of consideration, but prices of anything worth considering is just off-the-rails extremely stupid overpriced right now. You're talking about Finn, right? :) It is great, and often you can get a really nice deal for something. But sometimes, the prices are also not that different from what you get in a store for a new thing. Plus you don't always find the exact thing you're looking for. So there's always an element of "luck" I would say. There are similar marketplaces in other countries also, from what I know. Although in Norway, Finn is pretty much a "monopoly" in this space. I really hate that the government introduced 25% tax on everything outside of the country a couple years ago... Now you need to pay tax on even the smallest amounts. I used to get cheap junk on Aliexpress every once in awhile. Now it usually doesn't make sense to buy there with the added tax. 1 GitHub Currently and formerly owned laptops (specs below): Serenity -> Dell Precision 5560 N-1 -> Dell Precision 5560 (my lady's) Razor Crest -> Lenovo ThinkPad P16 (work) Millenium Falcon -> Dell Precision 5530 (work) Axiom -> Lenovo ThinkPad P52 (work) Moldy Crow -> Dell XPS 15 9550 Spoiler Senenity / N-1: Dell Precision 5560 i7-11800H CPU 1x32 GB DDR4 2,666 MHz 512 GB SSD NVIDIA T1200 FHD+ 1920x1200 PopOS 22.
ryan
AOE3:DE maxed 1080p avg 130fps guys this laptop for 2000 is seriously impressive and other owners are getting even better performance I would like to add its the 115w 3060 but full fat 11800h however for whatever reason this gpu performs better than a 130w 3060 for most with this model/laptop but the point is its a thin and light turdbook with desktop 3060 and cpu power for 2000 cad dollars. UN-Freekin_believe-able and @Mr. Fox iv'e been following your benchmarks and I cant believe your temperatures and performance 5.3ghz? is this real. you have to be the luckiest guy on the planet with that CPU 1 ZEUS-COMING SOON Omen 16 2021 Zenbook 14 oled Vivobook 15x oled

It is an excellent silicon sample. Not as good as the one I had purchased from Brother @Talonthat an unfortunate accident destroyed (still heartbroken over that). ryan
Mr Fox, what can I benchmark any ideas? I want to contribute to this thread but it's for desktop and my laptop is mid-tier. well the i7 11800h is pretty nice and the 3200mhz memory isn't shabby. but I thought about benchmarking my SSD. sigh wish I had the samsung 980 like everyone else here it is underwhelming gen 4 performance. fast for gen 3 mind you 3 ZEUS-COMING SOON Omen 16 2021 Zenbook 14 oled Vivobook 15x oled

Rage Set
I got a notification for the Z690 Dark, literally a day later after getting into the queue. I am not sure if I'm lucky or EVGA overestimated the desire for this board. What to do? I have the Z690 Extreme and the Strix-A...and one CPU for them both. I don't need another Z690 board...but it is very tempting. I could sell the Extreme but then I lose that sexy 10G LAN (yes, it is worth it). 1 2 A Change Is Gonna Come
