I received a reply from ENBIK. The content of the reply was different from that of the import agent.

 

ENBIK said, "We cannot recommend your laptop as it cannot handle the heat."

 

So I told them that a user in Europe had a special heatsink that supports 150W.

 

I also asked them to provide just the VBIOS if they could not sell it.

 

I am currently waiting for a reply.

Thanks. If they don't give the VBIOS. Ask them you need it for backup reasons, to unbrick a MXM card. You can tell them, you'll pay them 50€ for one VBIOS.

 

If they don't want to give then you have to buy the MXM from them.

Hello, not really on topic, but I don't know where else to ask.

I wanted to upgrade the wifi card on my P570WM to 6E. Even though the card gets recognized in device manager, I can't turn the wifi on as the button is greyed out. The wifi now also won't work anymore if I put the old card back it. 

I basically tried everything like driver reinstall, cmd commands, uninstalling the card in device manager, network reset, complete windows reinstall but the card still won't work...

Any suggestion? Thanks

Because it's not compatible with the Clevo software. Maybe it has a whitelist on the software? Or just simply not compatible. I never tried to upgrade the Wi-Fi because my own ISP is like 250MBit/s

 

Also you can upgrade to an RTX 4080/4090 if you want, I have the cables and the heatsink.

Thanks for the reply. I can get it to show in the device manager and the bluetooth works great but only the wifi doesn't. But now the original card also doesn't work.

Did you uninstall the previous Wi-Fi drivers? Any wi-fi drivers should be uninstalled. Then install the newest drivers, it'll work with Windows hopefully but still won't work with the Clevo software.

 

You say it's detected but is there any errors? Like error 43?

However, when I tried to purchase it from ZRT through an import agent, I received a strange reply from the agent.

They said, "This product may infringe on NVIDIA's trademark rights." As a result, the quote was 0 yuan (0 yen), and I was unable to purchase it.

 

I also checked via chat and was told to inquire in advance with Japanese customs about whether it would be possible to import it, as there was a risk of infringing the rights of the US GPU manufacturer NVIDIA.

 

It may not be easy to get this product.

Hello, the same happened with X-VSION. They found a way to counter it. Ask them how to avoid that, maybe by sanding the GPU die or by removing the serial number label.

 

Or by changing shipping company and sending it from Hong Kong (instead of China) to Japan?

I unistalled everything, even reinistalled windows. I don't get errors I just can't turn on the wifi not with the new AX210 card and now also not with the old n2230 one.

The thing is that everything shows in the device manager as it should; it properly detects the new card as AX210 160MHz.

Changed WiFi card it works. Try FN + F11 or F12.

Hi.

I've finally been able to pay the private importer. It seems my credit limit was not enough, and no matter how many times I tried, the payment wouldn't go through.

 

Now the question is whether the importer will be able to purchase the product. If they are, the ZRT RTX4090 should arrive sometime between the end of this month and the beginning of next month.

 

I'll post again once I've purchased the product.

We can flash the VBIOS finally!!  They both have the same GPUID so it'll work hopefully.

I have unfortunate news.

I've been contacted by the import agent. They say there is indeed a possibility that the item will be confiscated by customs upon import.

As a result, I have to sign a contract that stipulates that the purchase price will not be refunded if the item is confiscated and that I will have to pay various disposal fees.

 

For personal reasons, I am also preparing to move, and cannot bear any further high costs. If I were to purchase, I would not have the time to deal with customs.

For that reason, I would like to withdraw from this project for the time being.

However, judging from communication with the seller, it seems that the purchase itself is possible. I would like to try again once things have settled down.

Hello, if they have problem with shipping, how are they able to ship their GPUs to other "anonymous people"? Why can't they pick a FedEx/DHL from Hong Kong? That's what most do.

Can anyone help - i have P570wm with LVDS board (lcd is b173HW01 v4 its lvds 60hz) I'm not want disassemble this laptop before will be find answer about - can i soldering edp connector on motherboard, will be its working if i bought LCD edp and LCD cable edp. Anyone do this mod to change lvds →EDP without changing motherboard?

Yes there's an empty placeholder for that. You need to add an eDP port, resistance and capacitors for it but unfortunately I don't have the high resolution picture of the motherboard.

 

It can be risky because no one did it as far as I know.

 

It's 30 pin, so you'll be limited to 1080p 120Hz with the 3D LG Screen.

eDP motherboards are currently being sold on eBay. They're safer than modifying an LVDS motherboard.

You'll need an eDP cable and an eDP-compatible display, though.

thanks for answers, price on New\Used motherboards on ebay is very expensive, its higher than my laptop buying price. lcd 120hz and cable much cheaper than mobo. on Ebay in Canada i saw P570wm 120hz complete for 500 usd, but i feel sorry to throw away my laptop... and shipping to my country its very expensive price. and i try find a solution about mod my board, but i see its not easy (like on my AW M17X r4 edp and LVDS outputs soldered on mobo and both working factory 🙂  )
