Playing RDR2@4K (Slight performance loss due to recording with the RTX3090, actual FPS will be higher) Later in the video I do enable the 8XMSAA Reflection AA, Tree Tessellation, and the overkill water physics at 100%! Then I travel to the most demanding map in the game, Strawberry. -

@Mr. Fox The V-Color Manta 8200c38 (2x24GB) kit has arrived. The person who sent me these said they can run 8800. I’m not so sure my IMC can though haha (I have no idea honestly). We will see! I will give them a good test over the weekend. I am pretty much selling parts for a guy, because he’s not a very trust worthy person on the forums. I believe he’s burned a few people, so I’m selling the memory for him. (I’ll give it a good test first) but he’s sent me numerous CPU’s in the past to fix SMD’s on or delid, or test etc. This is the same guy you mentioned once who sold you a 10900K that died I believe. 🙂 But you would essentially be able to buy the fastest commercially available DDR5 for really really cheap compared to their original eye watering $569 MSRP. -

This 3090 Kingpin is just destroying 4K. I’ve got to put together some gameplay footage showing this off. My overclock, my windows, my forced rebar settings are performing phenomenally. I swear the loss in performance from 2560x1440P to 3840x2160P is extremely minimal or not at all sometimes. It is really the strangest thing Maybe it’s the 22% overclock to the GDDR6X, the core overclock, increased power limit. It all adds up I suppose. I was playing Halo Infinite maxed out and up-scaled to 8K with my son earlier in a Co-op campaign. Getting about 45FPS 😂 -

What happen to waiting until refresh? You see some fancy SP, and your wallet just folds in half on you lol (Or unfolds) 😂 -

@electrosoft Did you buy that 13900KS for $649? That thing had P-SP124 P-Cores, and E-SP 97 E-Cores. What an amazing deal. Surprised to see it wasn’t delidded already. -

Just an update on my Aorus FO48U 48” OLED. The monitor is holding up just great. I have 65 hours actual on screen time now, the monitor already had 37 hours when I first got it. The hours do add up fast! No burn-in at all, nothing weird going on. The monitor runs a pixel refresh/cleaner every 4 hours of actual on screen usage, this pixel refresh takes like 2 minutes to complete sometimes, no more than 5 on the longer runs. You don’t have to run it if you don’t want to, and the warning to do so only pops up when you hit the power button to turn it off, but I always let it run because that’s what LG and Gigabyte recommend. This panel sleeps and wakes perfectly and has never failed me once with this sleep/wake cycle. Plenty of large monitors/TV’s struggle to do this simple task! It turns off after just 3 minutes of idle per my Windows settings, and wakes up immediately after moving the mouse. I’m using this thing everyday for 6-8+ hours, LG says modern 2020+ OLED panels can last 100,000 hours or 30 years 😂 (I’m not so sure about that, but okay LG lol) I think being mindful of OLED pre cautions will allow this display to work perfectly for years and years and years. Like turning it off when you walk away for some a while. Letting the pixel refresher run. You would be surprised to hear a guy actually posted a video using older Aorus FW showing how to avoid running the pixel refresher 🤷♂️lol. One thing is for sure the picture quality is second to none, and using one big 4K panel for work makes things quick and easy with daily work. There’s no perfect do it all display, and there really are so many potential sacrifices when investing in any single monitor nowadays. -

I know it’s crazy how low the brightness is on these OLED’s TV’s and monitors. I cannot explain it other than just to try one, and you’ll see how acceptable it is. It’s so magnificent 😭 all of the light in this monitor is legit color and vividness. Plus, it’s so massive that’s all you see LOL. Man oh man. I have been seriously missing out. I’m done with small screens forever. I think 42-43” would probably be the smallest I ever go. OLED, or Mini-LED is all that’s acceptable from here on out. I wish everyone could experience this. The display looks like a colorful vivid poster in real life. Almost like you can touch the graphics. 🤷♂️ -

The RTX3090 does best with 4K/DX12 and Raytracing running and any other intensive graphics enabled, the heavier the load the better it scales. I have just started playing all of my games in 4K since the new monitor, and I’m surprised to see how small the loss in performance is going from 2560x1440 to 3840x2160. So far 68-100FPS seems to be what I get regardless of the title. No 4090 by any means but definitely serviceable. -

That 7900XTX does well in Firestrike and Firestrike Extreme. I can't touch it. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i9-13900KS Processor,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. I’d buy a 3090 Kingpin Hybrid. You can find them for cheap like $700 maybe, 360MM AIO, and faster than 3090Ti FE right out of the box with no adjustments or overclocking applied. -

I always thought the 6950XT and even the RTX4070 did super well at like 1080P/1440P. But then when the high power 4K kicks in they kind of fizzle out. -

I’ll give it a run with my 13900 to see where it’s at. I have not run Firestrike in a very long time. One thing for sure, my GPU excels best under really heavy 4K loads lol. In this lighter 1080P stuff I get beat up by newer gen GPU’s -

The one on the bottom has a 13900K with DDR5 7200, that’s the only difference I see. But it has a 44% higher graphics score 😳 That really just doesn’t make sense to me. -

That pic could pass for a wallpaper, hard to believe I just took a picture of my monitor with my iPhone 13 Pro Max.🙂 I got mine on Newegg as refurbished for $480 plus the $6 dollar shipping. They increased the price a little now but it’s still $560 on there which is incredible for anything OLED and 48” inches of it. The picture quality is beyond insane, the first thing I notice is that response time. No blurring of the image when moving the mouse quickly in games, then just the massive size of the display with such vivid colors and inky blacks. I just can’t get over it. The monitor has set a benchmark the makes everything else in my home look sub standard. Mine was refurbished and I was worried about that, but it was delivered in one piece, and I can’t find any flaws with it. Just awesomeness. If you’re in Canada they may be more expensive, but even paying $1,000 bucks it’s a reasonable for what you get. (Even though that’s extremely expensive for a monitor, they are definitely worth what they cost new for $829 in the USA) -

Just a quick update this OLED panel menu under system says it has only 37 hours of actual on time. Working great so far. The picture is just unbelievable. I took a picture of my desktop wallpaper below. The speakers are phenomenal! They are a little too loud at volume of just 30%. And they are front facing at the bottom front bezel and facing you. Never had speakers this good in a monitor before This thing is almost too good to be true for $500 bucks. I’ll keep you guys updated.🧐. -

I’m ready!! This box was like 100lbs 😅 The monitor looked brand new to me and unused. It’s perfect! Very happy. Saturday delivery for $5.99 shipping, can’t beat that! What a deal this thing was. I can hook up my MacBook USB-C and it charges it and displays video signal/audio etc. And while my PC is hooked up, and it simultaneously pops between both devices on my display. With whichever mouse I move. 🤯 -

Other people talking about Diablo really makes me want to try it just becuz, but I have never really liked games like that either, but at the same time I’ve never really tried them or given them a chance. Maybe I’ll give it a try. I really like first person or third person open world RPG games. I am extremely shallow when it comes to games lol. Better have some sweet graphics and physics or story for me to play it. -

That’s really impressive man!. I can’t wait to play in some 4K on a large screen. Your GPU also looks so efficient compared to mine.
