What game are you playing now?

I'm also having troubles sticking to a game, feel off. But the game I keep dabbling in is grid legends, easy to control the cars and gorgeous looking game albeit less of a challenge.

Still playing Diablo 4 Season 1 as a rogue, but not that much because im playing Jagged Alliance 3. Loved the 2 one, best turn based strategy out there, and JA3 is a worthy succesor.

ive heard / seen good things about Baldurs Gate 3, supposedly breaking all records on metacritic and concurrent player numbers. anyone tried it yet?

@jaybee83 BG 3 is the best role playing game out there for the last years, everyone ist praising it. The thing is soo complex and time consuming  that I don't have what it takes to play a game of this genre...

If I was 20 again,  in university and no job and family I would have played it non stop like in the good days. No sleep, no food necessary 🤣🤣.

haha yep sounds about right! sadly thats also why ill likely not play it anytime soon 😄 i have about one to two hours of personal freetime (best case) a day that i usually spend watching TV shows or tuning / benching my setup 😛 still lots to finetune!

edit: just watched the trailer and i had instant goosebumps! btw its hilarious that they even tried to mimick a greek accent while narrating hahaha. in the beginning they did it well but slacked off a bit at the end. still, kudos! 🙂

My chars are Level 3 in BG3. It's going to take an eternity to finish. And to think we also have Starfield and the CP2077 expansion dropping in the next couple months.

Very much looking forward to Starfield but I'm trying to keep my expectations low. I've come to not trust at all any AAA release hype anymore. Too many times the actual game is nothing like what's promised only to be fixed after a year's worth of patches...

haha yep basically thats whats keeping me from playing that game...saw the IGN review on it and the reviewer played BG3 nonstop for 3 weeks and beat the game after 130 hours playtime...aint no well in hell i have that kinda freetime anymore! lulz

Hitman: World of Assassination. IO Interactive bunched three games into one, but currently playing out of order as I have started and playing Hitman 2.

Playing Hades. Really enjoying it, challenging enough to be engaging without being insurmountable. Beat it 3 times so far and trying to get the rest of the story and tryout new builds.

Just finished a two day binge playing forza horizon 5. Game is utterly incredible that is if you like racing even the slightest

Started Borderlands 3 with a friend - quite fun experience and has plenty of variety so far; probably one of the better "loot & shoot" games I've played. Their devs also have a bit of humor and some stuff is just hilarious, like the "coffee mission" or "zero who does a lot of dividing"

I tried Lies of P on Game Pass. The game looked great and ran beautifully on my 4080-equipped Pro 7i at 4K, max settings with DLSS on quality. However, Soulsbornelike games just aren't for me. I enjoy watching people who are good at them play, but I just can't get into the genre myself. Not sure what I'll play next. Maybe Callisto Protocol on my Series S since I got it cheap with a bunch of Microsoft store credit.

Yeah I am also not into souls game mechanics.  Life of Pi looks nice but I don't have the energy to die at a boss fight for 100x 😁.

 

Also looking for a game. Finished Jagged Alliance 3, very good TBS. Loved it. And now I'm playing Titanfall 2, just got a huge multi-player update and server are full.

Probably  waiting for Cyberpunk DLC to drop and continue that game.

Still playing the good old Alien Isolation. For me it’s one of the best Horror games ever.

So i got my Pico 4 VR today and of course i had to try Half Life Alyx , got it the other day on sale for 20 EURO.  I am blown away, this game is crazy well done, hats of to Valve. They did it, such an immersive experience.  And the PICO 4 is crazy good, so light and fast, ergonomics are top, well build, 2160 X 2160  resolution looks crisp. Also the apps and the streaming of the  Games from my PC to it wireless is perfect, no lag on ultimate graphics. Also the 90 Hz are doing a fine job of not getting motion sickness. Better as the quest 2 in my opinion.

This is the future of gaming if every developer does what Valve did with Alyx. Now Valve pleaseeeee bring Half Life 3 already!!

yes i was blown away by alyx also. its like seeing 40 years into the future

 

i dont know if you know this but at the begining you can pick up the pens and color on the glass window. its the small touches that make these games so great.

Yeah the interactions are bonkers in Alyx, from the loading off the gun and the aiming to everything you can take and move with your VR hands, awesome. They just need to develop  a  capulse of sorts with some threadmill where you can freely move, run and jump and then we are in Ready player One 😄. This is the only drawback in VR right now this teleporting moving but for sure in 10 years or so we will have a solution and then we can live our life in VR 😆

Indeed. I miss that first Alyx experience... I also said right after I was done with it that it takes gaming to a completely new level. Exactly as cylix said above, I loved the loading/aiming, all the interactions.

 

After I had finished it, I was seeing headcrabs jump out of everywhere in real life for a while 😆

Went back in time and i started playing again CS2, after 10+ years of not playing, also started playing a MMO again 🤣 New World, but only casual like 1 2 hours evenings when kids and wife are sleeping 😄

well im playing forza right now and if your a racing fan(alotRnot) Its not very fun, has terrible graphics and runs at 30fps when it should hover around 2000fps. literally a cell phone could run this game as far as visual fidelity in fact I think grid autosport on my phone set to quality runs and looks better than forza motorsport on my laptop. my laptop is huge my cell phone is like 1 tenth the size. somethings not right.
