stay strong man, they dont deserve your hard earned cash! lettem suffer and bleed as long as possible looks and sounds to me like a redesigned laptop motherboard, i.e. repurposing leftover laptop parts for desktop usage. hope u can get it to work! keep us updated ð -

so seems like u dont have access to voltage adjustments, thats alright. sure, best to OC both the gpu core and vRAM to get the most out of it ð if you go too high on the core u usually end up with black screens, system freezes or BSODs. as for vRAM, if u go too high ull start seeing glitches / artifacts (i.e. colorful lines, weird shapes, etc.). but no worries, in both instances a hard reboot resets the clocks to stock again. -
all the questions in 1 massive thread? what do u mean? as for ads, just use an adblocker, problem solved haha ð from one SSD snob to the other: what u hogging for mate? ð u really need that much SSD space internally? and yes, 4TB+ M.2 drives are insanely expensive, im currently saving up for a 4TB Seagate Firecuda 530, cant wait! cheapest 4TB M.2 I can find is the Crucial P3 for 409⎠currently (not sure where ure located though, this is in Europe). however, this one is without DRAM Cache and with QLC. cheapest 4TB M.2 with TLC would be the ADATA XPG SX8100 for 445âŽ, but still without DRAM Cache. cheapest 4TB M.2 with TLC and DRAM Cache would be the PNY XLR8 CS3040 for 544⎠with 5 years warranty but only a meager 900 TBW. cheapest 4TB M.2 I would actually start recommend getting is the WD Red SN700 with 5 years warranty, DRAM Cache, TLC and a whopping 5.1 PBW for 548âŽ. Do note that this is a pcie 3.0 drive though. as for 8TB M.2 drives, there are not that many to choose from as of yet: - Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 8TB (TLC)- 1800⎠- Sabrent Rocket Q 8TB (QLC) - 1600⎠- PNY CS2130 8TB (QLC) - 1000⎠- Mushkin Alpha 8TB (QLC) - N/A - Corsair MP400 8TB (QLC) - 1950⎠- TeamGroup MP34Q 8TB (QLC) - N/A As for SATA M.2 drives, there are none at 4TB, they max out at 2TB and the likelihood of them being developed further is low. High capacity will rather focus on 2.5" SATA drivers rather than M.2 due to space constraints on the latter. In general, i would recommend looking for the following when choosing an SSD: - DO NOT go for QLC, speed and reliability are not worth the few bucks ure saving. TLC absolute minimum - Ignore everything below 5 years warranty - Ignore everything without a dedicated DRAM Cache - for TBW under warranty, at 4TB i would recommend a minimum of 2.4PB, which is what the Samsung Evo 860 and 870 provide at that capacity. Absolute minimum 2 PB, anything below that is not worth considering if you ask me. - 4K IOPS: for 2.5" SATA go for minimum 80-85K and above, for pcie 3.0 500K and above, for pcie 4.0 ideally go for 900K-1M - Sequential: 2.5" SATA 500 MB/s and above, pcie 3.0 3000 MB/S and above, pcie 4.0 6000-6500 MB/s and above.

thats good, actually! quadros are normally completely locked in terms of over or underclocking... no worries on that front. only once u up the voltage will u significantly increase the heat. if u only up clocks then there should be no or only very minor heat increase. as for temps, anything below 90 is fine, so in the 60s ure faaaaar away from any risk of degrading anything in your gpu ð -

probably the same workforce they hired additionally to keep up with demand during the pandemic. no feeling sorry from my side, this is just the market adjusting irself to normal levels after the uber hype craze during the pandemic...what goes up, must come done again, eventually ð -

whoa if true thats pretty shady behaviour on EVGA's side....although some of the stuff sounds a bit tinfoil-hat-ish ð btw in this context, look at the current european EVGA store prices on the 3090 TI: ummmmm.....wtf -

thats awesome man! super good news, very happy it worked out like it did ð inf mod is no biggie, and the unknown gpu in bios is also nothing to worry about, can just ignore. thermal pad thickness is no magic, just needs a bit of patience and trial & error, u got the most difficult part behind u man, trust me! as for selling off ur old gpu, open up a for sale thread in the marketplace section here in the forum ð just be sure to read all the rules first. keep us updated here! we want clocks, voltages, wattage, temps, pictures of board, heatsink, machine, we want benches, everything! ð

were FINALLY getting somewhere! original quote: "it seems like the evil spirits have finally left your machine, exorcism accomplished" ððĪ ok we finally got a solid baseline now and can successfully flash custom code. now its off to getting actual shit done. wish us luck guys!
