  1. We have telegram and TeamSpeak, telegram is mostly used for backup communications in the event of another outage on the forum but TeamSpeak you are welcome to use how you see fit (within reason)
  2. fascinating! Where would one go to look for these kinds of cards? Alibaba or something similar?
  3. Would love to play with that, guessing they arent out in the wild that often though?
  4. I thought it was fine, not sure about the hype though maybe I missed something on that front...
  5. PLug in external monitor again and use the Fn key to manually switch the monitor to external. Otherwise you may want to consult the owners manual to look for a key sequence that might reset to default values
  6. I haven't had to reset the BIOS with my system but generally speaking its more difficult to clear NVRAM manually these days. After a little searching, try holding Fn + D while booting. If that doesnt work you can try removing the AC adapter, battery, CMOS battery then try hitting the power button a few dozen times to try and delete the charge.
  7. When troubleshooting you need to understand what you are altering in order to zero in on what appears to be the problem at hand, changing random settings in the BIOS is not ideal when it appears to be a software issue. You will likely need to clearn the CMOS/NVRAM to get the system to post again as since you dont really know what you altered it would be difficult to give advise before re-establishing a baseline.
  8. https://github.com/theVakhovskeIsTaken/holoiso I believe this is the source, Gonna try it on my HP t630 tomorrow 🙂
  9. Like how many great titles it was both a passion project and also an issue of professional pride iirc. It's difficult to retain that same focus especially when you start looking at consoles as a serious market. Since at the time you are devving for 3 platforms instead of one. Heck maybe they can just do pc again since 2007 pc gaming has become more mainstream, I look forward to their success :)
  10. Yeah that makes sense, then perhaps they want their cake and eat it too? Release towards end of their fiscal year that way consumer sales begin and paint the picture for the enterprise to follow in the following quarter to give a strong showing? I'm so glad I'm not rich enough to have to care about these sort of things lol I'm giddy enough with this forum and even it there is a ton of hypothetical to weed out
  11. A lot of my clients fiscal years end around the end of the month, in fact Dell has already begun trying to encourage us to encourage our clients to clear out their inventory to make new purchases. I understand the mindset but last time they tried this nearly half our clients went to hp or threatened to cut orders with Dell entirely and begin order through us instead. The view of the "markets" hasn't been ideal, so in my uneducated opinion they are trying to leverage the new release into a new fiscal year / quarter.
  12. Not that it needs to be said but we will be here regardless so make sure you take care of you and yours. Been struggling to make adjustments as well which is why I havent been able to do more with the forum at present.
  13. Sadly our forum is not that large but if there ends up being a group please keep us in the loop
  14. Just been watching various Anime as background noise.
  15. If someone has to maintain the position that it was profitable, it means that there is doubt that it was so. Which speaking from a neutral position makes sense logically, open world titles are often difficult to fill with content. They also lost a lot of the PC base when their design philosophy changed from the original to the sequels to chase the console money, then they hit financial woes. Also considering that a number of their resources were in Kyiv (Ukraine) which is currently embroiled in war. They've likely burned bridges with EA and Ubisoft already since they didnt fold under eithers portfolio, but perhaps they would be open to further partnership again. They've got an uphill battle, but its not like I want them to fail. It would need some serious Project Management and a maniacal focus, but those are things they've pulled off before!
  16. No I mean just if it was a profitable venture, plain and simple. 22mil in 07' is 31mil in 22' Hopefully they can get some momentum going, I'd like to see more from them.
  17. Yeah it doesnt help that I buck when ever they attempt to make additional demands of me. They could probably replace me with ease, but they would lose that client within a few months. Lately they want me to use my phone for work purposes without compensating my phone, it feels petty but sadly its one of those give an inch take a mile scenarios.
  18. Yeah despite a perfect record and showing how to cut labor times by 2/3'rds I keep getting retaliation from leadership, all on pre-covid wages. As for the X3D chip it's widely known that synthetics don't improve with faster or more l3 cache. Been that way since 2015, especially cinebench. Going to have to actually play some games even then it's likely to only be tangible benefit to games like stelleris, civ, or any other extremely cpu bound titles. Heck vanilla crysis might fall in that category too.
  19. I would reinstall windows, I tend to do that personally anyways around every 6 months, but that's just me and my oold habits. Looks like you might have a potential solution! Best to zero it in and confirm it.
  20. I just took a short vacation and ready to look for employment elsewhere lol.
  21. When you got the system did you leave the base Windows installation or have you reinstalled Windows on your own? From what I have been able to gather around it seems using applications that attempt to access or perform the same action can cause that issue. In other instances it was caused by a brand specific power plan application (i.e. Gigabyte power blah blah or Lenovo Superfan yadayada).
