  1. Hardware GPU scheduling causes these issues on newer cards for some reason. Must be turned off on our older machines. Do you have a pic of the RTX 5000 they are selling?
  2. The velociraptor is the best card indeed. Even with V3 i am getting power drain so either it's the V3 adapter or my RTX 3000 doesn't turn off properly. The BIOS I posted should have NVMe support already
  3. AW18 is probably a better platform to mix and match GPUs since both slots can be used as a primary only card. Maybe if I get some free time in the future I can try
  4. Nice, what I did on mines was, grab and old black cord (ac adapter for old phones or something that is thick) , cut it and glue it in. Looks like OEM as well. Works on palm rest as well.
  5. X14 R3 will probably be announced CES 2024 and might be a nice choice.
  6. Very tempting... Does it have the heatsinks for GPUs and CPU? Looks like it uses standard mxm 3.0b cards as well as socketed 4000MQ series CPU? I'll need to check if I have anything in stock to get this up and running
  7. Make sure you have the unlocked BIOS with NVMe booting support. Also need to be in UEFI mode not legacy
  8. 180w/240w/330w are the only ones that will work properly on m17x r3/r4/17 r1 210w are for older systems. Glad you got it figured out. I always use 240/330w only with these systems
  9. Made enough $$$ to buy the speakers b-stock so I will keep this laptop 😄
  10. One of our AW club members has one like this in his M18xR2. He was using a 6900 XT I believe. Using SG graphics mode (Optimus mode). As long as you can use Optimus mode it should work just like any MXM card. I recommend using with nVidia cards though for best compatibility. Might also work in pure PCIe mode as well depending on the PC.
  11. Try using msi afterburner to "overclock" the gpu by 5mhz or something and see if it helps. Sounds like it's stuck in P1 power state instead of P0
  12. I'm still on BIOS 1.6.0 lol no BSODs for me
  13. I’ve shipped to a fellow member in Ireland a few laptops, I’ve put the value to like $90 and wrote for parts, broken but obviously those PCs were like $300-600. This one is quite a bit more so it’s a big loss for me if it’s sent uninsured and gets lost or damaged(not worried about damage actually since it’ll but bulletproof shipping LOL) import taxes suck indeed.
  14. Where in Europe are you? I can do $1,300 + shipping cost but it might be tough shipping wise. I also have it on eBay with the international shipping program enabled as well.
  15. Worse case scenario no one buys it and I’ll just keep it and maybe throw in a 3080 in the future lol
  16. Yeah I just got it early this year. Unfortunately I have way too many laptops(I think 12 right now) and I need to sell some off (probably 3-4). I actually used this laptop maybe 6 times the whole year (just to hear the audio system LOL).
  17. I absolutely hate to have to sell this to fund other toys, it is Clevo's last LGA/MXM system, and this one even has a Personal Prema Mod.But alas, I actually hardly use it and I am sure there's someone here who will appreciate it and use it way more than me. Will come in original box. Intel Core i7 10700K 32GB RAM 512GB SSD RTX 2070 Super MXM 1920x1080 17" 144Hz Display CS Custom Prema Mod BIOS 2x280w AC Adapters Windows 11 Pro Will ship in original box. The "CS" logo on the outer lid is just a sticker and buyer can remove it.
  18. Does the older XTU versions still work? I'm on older XTU and 1.6.0 bios still
  19. G-Sync model works fine: https://www.3dmark.com/fs/29887901
  20. There are people including me who couldn't even get 64gb 5600mhz ram to boot without doing the power drain/reset either. My 64GB 5600Mhz is running at 5200Mhz. So the 96GB running at 4800Mhz isn't a surprise. Although, now that we have some sort of unlocked bios maybe we can change timings ourselves.
