Is anyone else having issues with Bullits messages? Have of them are white/black. Or is it just me? As for your monitor, is there a setting in android where you can tell it what display you are using and adjust accordingly? WIndows 11 has this feature.

We bought our son a new MSI 15 inch gaming laptop. I cannot find the setting to change to keep the system on while the lid is closed to use an external monitor. any help would be appreicated

Bought this laptop yesterday for my son so he could play space engine on it. I got it at 930 when BestBuy opened. Paid 803 out the door (cdn dollars). Got it home and set it all up for him. It was about 1pm or so before I got steam and space engine loaded. Needless to say, we never saw him for the rest of the evening. He was just at his desk flying around to different planets and universes. He loves it. Cyborg 15 A12U – Cyber Up!

I just bought a crap load of accessories for our cameras. Got softboxes for our studio lights, got a new universal flash gun with a bunch of accessories, got a cage, shotgun mic, LED on camera light, and a speed booster for the new camera as well. Added in 2 more batteries and an adapter to adapt my film lenses to my 1DS digital body as well. All will arrive between the 9th and 15th. Then the fun starts. The wife is ready and willing. most will not allowed to be shown here, but I will post up some of the tamer ones she approves of ha ha!. The video side of things will be started this month too. Getting our studio setup as we speak.

A 5 month old ssd is in it. It's running fine now so I will swap the drive if it happens again.

Well, turns out it was a bunch of junk running in the background that I couldn't see in the beginning. Got it all removed, and it is working fine again.

We have our important stuff backed up to onedrive automatically. Text messages etc, I don't really care about, but documents, photos etc are all on onedrive. I tell everyone at work when they purchase a phone to do some sort of back up. How many people have I seen extremely upset because their phone craped the bed and they lost everything.

Picked this gem up last week. Just getting around to charging it up.

Update time. I have given up trying to the the PCI-E drive to work in the server, I am going to try another route now. I 2.5 inch raid enclosure with 2 256gb m.2s set to raid 1 in drive bay 1. See if I can load TrueNas on that. If that works I will move forward with the rest of the project. I have the enclosure, drives, 16gb of ram, a Noctua 120mm fan and a few other odds and ends ordered for it. Once all that gets in and installed, it will be time to give the ssd enclosure a whirl! see if I can get it to work that way. Can't see why it wouldn't.

that's another awesome tablet but what is with the obsession with apple software design. It's FUGLY and counter intuitive.

My mom called me yesterday and asked me to come up to their house and see about fixing her trackpad and mouse pointer. It keeps freezing and the working. So I did not see anything wrong in any settings, no software using resources in Task Manager, etc. I did a restore on her system, and while doing the restore, I noticed even the spinner for the update was freezing. I think it's something other than the mouse, and wondering what could cause this. I don't think it's heat related as no fans are spinning when it's happening. Any ideas?

Agreed, I am expanding my workshop this spring and putting a lift for doing my own work. I have most every tool needed for anything automotive related. Just need a shop high enough to install the lift. Even the 2500 dollar expensive of the lift will be recouped in no time with 4 vehicles to maintain.

The big thing for me is preparation of the food. Deep fried in the same fryer as other things with wheat triggers my allergies. Prepared on the same countertop as something with flour and boom. Triggered again. It's brutal.

UPDATE: I have found some information on video editing on the snapdragon pcs. It's a big NO GO. I have to suck it up and buy the ASUS proArt P16. It's the only system that gives me everything I want in a portable workstation now. The ARM systems just grind to a hault when pushed with 4k video footage and adding any type of color grading etc. The ProArt blows through it without issue.

I am seriously considering a surface 15 inch with 64gb of ram. The only thing I am waiting for is to get some information on true creative workflows. I have yet to find any information on 64gb X elite systems doing true creative workflows. Once I get some more information, I will see what I am going to do. I was looking at ProArt P16, but in true ASUS fashion, they have shoddy quality control and abysmal customer service.
